Number 1, ALL door are kept open while everyone sleeps you do not get to shut it. Multiple nights id be up at around 2-3 am cs i couldn't sleep and id peek out my door to find the hall monitor sleeping EVERY night. Mind you, ur peers in there make threats all day. Number 2, The power trip the staff get towards the adolescents is insane. They'd stand outside our door making fun of how we were in there and how we're clearly "mentally ill" and would give what's known as a booty shot to whoever mouthed back! They handed out those shots like it was candy. A girl got into a fight and couldn't calm down from it... All i heard was her screaming no and then they dragged her out of her room incoherent. She woke up to her arms, legs and full body restrained like a star fish. It's disgusting in there Number 3, It does NOT help! all we did was color and say our pronouns and how we felt for the day. You weren't allowed to touch each other or talk in a group like you are planning something. We never went outside and only used the gym twice. I went crazy in there, and they don't release you until you're so out of it from there medication that you're not yourself. IF YOU SEND/SENT YOUR FAMILY THERE I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY RESENT YOU! Parents in these reviews like it wasn't your choice to send your child away, you should be ashamed of yourselves and sign yourself up to make it even!

Although the game had a disappointing outcome I can easily say that the moments of community and celebration among the crowd still made this watch party one of the more joyful and memorable experiences I've had at RiverEdge. I have been to the park a couple of times in the past for concerts and festivals and although I was originally of the mind that the space didn't need much more but the new design and updates seem to be worthwhile improvements. I was really surprised that the park was in such amazing shape following the crazy storms and flooding the night before. We parked across the river and walked the pedestrian bridge to get to the venue. My family was happy to see that this time they had a checkpoint at the start of the bridge and we were able to just enter the venue when we reached the other side of the bridge instead of having to join a line again like they had to previously. We got there about two hours before the initially scheduled start time and the place was already filling up but there was still plenty of space on the lawns for setting up chairs or blankets and I liked the amount of screens available for viewing throughout the venue. The beverage pavilion did a great job of serving fast and keeping wait times short. Both times that I went to get a drink I was able to order within 5 mins and it was nice to be able to still see the action going on with the big screen above the pavilion. Although there was a heavy security presence all of the interactions I witnessed were very friendly even when it came to more rowdy fans. I even witnessed a police officer spring into action to help a small child that seemed to be having a medical emergency which was very encouraging to see with such a large crowd. My only criticisms for the event are that the bottom of the screen we were camped at was a little glitchy at times (maybe due to storm damage?) and the lines for the concessions and the food trucks were very long throughout the night. We brought in a Jersey Mike's sub so we were able to avoid the lines for the most part but I saw some people with bags of popcorn that looked good and after searching all over for where I could get some I finally saw that they were available at the Strawberries BBQ stand but was bummed when after waiting in line for 15 mins I suddenly noticed that that they had a piece of tape over the popcorn on one of the menu boards to the side of the window. I didn't feel like waiting another 15 mins to confirm so I just went back. I think some clearer signage that is easier to update and a separate line for the quicker to shell out food items would be a big help. Hopefully they iron this out. Despite this I was still happy to see that Strawberries was brought in as an official concession provider. Had I known this prior I would have rather saved my money and just gotten some of their delicious ribs. Some of my friends have mentioned that they are going to the Australian Pink Floyd show in a couple of weeks and I think this experience might have got me off the fence about joining in.

I saw a add for the company at a apartment building. Through correspondence with Mike via email and phone the move was set up. I even confirmed with him via phone the day before. So about fifteen minutes after my scheduled move time I called and he said they were running late and finishing up a previous move. After a hour or so and not answering my calls it was clear they weren't going to show up. They left me in a major bind! Scheduling after hours moving time in two high rises, taking time off work, trying to find a company to do a emergency move after 6pm... the list of how his unprofessionalism affected my move goes on and on. Even though River's Edge is cheap, save yourself the drama and stay far away! You get what you pay for! PS...Yelp is making me give them one star but only if negatives were possible...

We had a strict time limit to move in with the freight elevator. Also parking is terrible by the both the apartment and the condo. So we were loath to ask our friends to do a 3 location, crappy parking, strict time-limit move. We were originally thinking of renting a truck and maybe getting some extra help from the day laborers by the Home Depot. But we saw an advertisement on the street for these guys... only $45 per hour! So anyway, they showed up 15 minutes late which wasn't the best start, but not too bad. Mike, the manager/owner is pretty young. When he opened the truck door I was rather dismayed to see a lot of furniture already on the truck. Mike explained that he agreed to get rid of it for his last customer the previous evening. He thought he would just dump it on the loading dock of the public storage unit I had rented. When I explained that I didn't think the storage manager would appreciate that I got a surprised, "Really? Oh..." response. Anyway, fotunately I had my wife, father-in-law, and brother-in-law there to assist. And we did. We did as much, if not more, heavy lifting than the "movers". I also had to assist directing the loading of the truck. We made it into the condo in the allotted time-frame, but afterwards discovered significant damage to several of our framed art pieces... nothing original or irreplaceable, but it's gonna cost to make them hangable again. Bottom line: the Home Depot idea was better. Should have gone with that.

I was also disappointed that there is still no breakfast in the morning. When we got to our room, we realized that there was no toilet paper and no paper towels in the bathroom and there was no top seat to the toilet. It was nice to have a small kitchen though. I most likely would not stay here again if I had the choice.
