I would recommend that future customers read carefully the "Color Disclaimer" section of the Owens…read moreCorning" shingle literature & take some time to research their color selection. I made a snap decision on a shingle color from a small sample while talking to the TLC rep for ten minutes and have regretted that decision ever since. The TLC rep made no mention of researching the color selection so it is up to the customer to do so. To be fair the roof job went very well. All of the TLC employees were friendly, professional & showed good workmanship. I would recommend TLC to anyone but would caution them on their shingle color selection.

In 2026, the time of this review, we had hail and wind during a storm last week and I get a random text from them (see picture) stating that I signed up for messages from them, which I did not, and noted the storm. Are they storm chasers now? I really wish they would not "opt in" people that never opted in.

Reached out to quote a new roof for a rental in Cleveland,…read more -They had a representative go visit the property and quoted $9k for the replacement + possible $2k if boards need to be changed -paid $1k deposit -day the work was supposed to start they contacted me saying there is slat under part of the roof and they need another dumpster and extra work to the time of $18k double the original quote The person that did the initial inspection is mistaking and is no longer with the company. -I understand the work will cost more but I can't proceed with that budget. -even though admittedly they missed the slat and quoted half the amount, I will give the benefit of the doubt and say it's not a bay and switch. -but now they refuse to give back the deposit sighting they had dumpster go out there the day of the work and crews lined up. -I was still reasonable even though they are the professionals that made the wrong assessment and said I would pay for the dumpster........ again even though it's not my fault. -but they said no even to partial refund Moral of the story. When they make mistakes they will not own up and stick you with the bill.

My wife noticed a leak from our roof that was already pushing 30 years old, so we called out some…read morecompanies to take a look and get some estimates on the work. Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.
