We had a wonderful lunch here. Good food and service. Music was a little loud as was the screaming kid but what can you do. The beer was great. Huge bonus - we were able to get a vegan and gluten free pizza and it was excellent! The patio looks nice - we ate inside for a break from the heat.

Great spot in Frankfort that has many Belgian style beers. (Caution, I am biased and adore Belgian style beers.) beers were delicious and we grabbed some popcorn ( Parmesan and truffle) and green beans ( healthier and still fried). Snacks were delicious as was the beer. Would love to go back and they are 3 1/2 hrs from where I live... sure there will be a next time. Had beers to go in cans/growlers/crowlers.

Perfect location to end a fantastic day in the upper northwest Michigan. What is better than eating and drinking well followed by a sunset by the lighthouse and the lake. Food- the beet salad is an absolute must. I would order this everyday if I could. The Stormavore pizza was a good bar pie and the raclette with Leelanau cheese did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back!

Stormachos or something like that. No matter. It's tasty nachos.

Nice outing with fam. Had five different pizzas and two salads. Everything was devoured. Friendly service, good microbrewery vibe. This place has come a long way since we first visited about 10 years ago. Now it's probably the place to for casual eats. We had to wait 30 mins to sit but no problem as we just walked down to the beach waiting for our text.

Brewery #267 Stormcloud is pretty much a perfect brewery for my tastes. I like good bar food, great beer and a cool place to enjoy them. Stormcloud does that in spades. The food menu is full of things like pizzas (that looked good), sandwiches, salads and apps. I got a chicken salad with apples, dried cherries, dried cranberries, red onions and a lemon vinaigrette. It was delicious and refreshing. Pops got the Fowl Weather which was a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese on Naan bread. He said it was delicious. They even make cook to order flavored popcorn if you just want a tasty snack. As far as the beer, I got my standard flight which consisted of 3 IPA's and a Belgian Tripel. All of them were great but the Cool Cat Kitty Face (hazy IPA) and 228 Tripel (Belgian) were my favorites. The atmosphere is cool too. They have the standard inside area with a bar and tables, an outdoor patio is you want to eat Al Fresco, and a beer garden that doesn't have food service but a relaxing spot if you just want to drink a cold one. Stormcloud was so nice that we went back the next day just to get a few pints and enjoy the beer garden.

Love this brewery. Good food & good times. They're open pretty much year round, which means they embrace their outside area in the summer AND the winter. Love their chicken salad & friend green beans. They also offer popcorn + flavors which are a hit.

We were passing by Frankfort and wanted to try a local brewery...we're really glad we found Stormcloud Brewing! Here's what we liked: - Their beers are based on Belgium style ales, so I decided to get a flight. The flight had four generous pours and was very reasonable. There was a very wide range of different beers so we were able to try several styles...all were really great! - We decided to get some snacks to go with the beers and ordered the Truffle and Fresh Parmesan popcorn...wow, it was so good and a huge portion! I only wished I could have gotten an assortment of the four different flavors offered. The Brat Bites were another great snack...especially the Chips! - It was a rainy day and the inside of the bar was super comfy vibe. Bottom line: We loved this brewery and would welcome the chance to visit again!

Riders on the Storm pizza with carmelized onions, sausage, pear--yum!

Had a fun family outing to Stormcloud. Each young adult plus me picked a different beer to try. We ordered several pizzas and 2 types of salad and had a lovely evening--everything was delicious, helpful service, nice vibe.

Waited two hours for the most average pizza I have ever had. Fun atmosphere, but that's really the only positive.

It was a mixed crowd, with lots of families and young children. I had the Northwoods Blueberry Açaí mineral water while I waited and it was SO GOOD. When we got there, the hostess warned us that the pizzas were taking up to an hour to make. I appreciate that they warned us before we committed to dining there! We didn't mind the wait. There are no waiters, so you order everything at the bar then they bring your food to you with a table number. I ordered the raspberry beer and it was really good. I typically don't like beer, but I love fruit flavors. As an appetizer, we got the red pepper hummus and it was meh--I didn't really like it. It was thick and had the texture of cold refried beans and instead of pita, it was served with tortilla chips that tasted like Tostitos brand. For my flatbread pizza, I chose the Wolverine which was topped with pineapple, pepperoni, jalapeños. I've never had pineapple on pizza so I can't really be a good judge, but it was alright. I liked how thin the crust was. For dessert, we got the mini ice cream bars as recommended by the woman sitting near us. They're Ice Box Brand Ice Cream Bars by a Michigan-based company. They sell two sizes: regular and mini. I chose a mini toffee crunch and it was the perfect size. It was really good. I'd love to just buy these ice cream bars to have at home!!

"Do you need something?"…read more I walked in on a Tuesday, just before the dinner rush. There were a few customers there already, some sitting at the bar, others placing to-go orders, and some scattered tables. In evaluating the relaxed pace of the two young ladies behind the bar and one the floor, this was not their busy time. I sat at the bar, looking at their beer menu on the wall and compared to their online descriptions, trying to decide what I'd like to try. Several minutes passed without acknowledgment from either staff members. No napkin, no "I'll be with you in a sec!" that's typical of any establishment. I am not inexperienced with restaurant operations; this was uncomfortably unusual behavior. As if I wasn't welcome there for some reason. Finally, after enough time had passed to where I was contemplating just leaving, one of them finally looked at me while she was walking by and uttered that phrase. I was so caught off-guard that I stammered while asking for a flight. I picked the four that interested me, she poured them, then left. No engagement, no conversation about the beers, nothing typical of a brewery proud of its product. The attitude reminded me of another metro Detroit brewery's snobbish standoffishness. Like how they're xenophobic about anyone who isn't a regular but how does one become a regular if they don't welcome you in the first place? After other customers came in, sat near me at the bar, were obviously also first-timers, immediately welcomed with menus and told of the dinner specials, that's when I knew. I was not welcome there. And the only reason I can surmise is my appearance. My behavior wasn't it (and I'm familiar enough with reactions to Internet reviews that are atypical to immediately blame the reviewer instead of considering uncomfortable possibilities). I was received brusquely, not offered a food menu, and only got one check-in -- again, unusual behavior for a brewery and I've been to countless ones around the country. It struck me that my last experience with implicit bias was also in the Traverse City region. I hated to admit the possibility but the anecdotal evidence was clear. I imagine that if I'd been a White man in a collared shirt and chinos, my experience may have been different. Obviously, I can't prove it and if there's an owner response to this review, it'll be full of cliches about how this isn't who or what they are, etc. The establishments in downtown are far more welcoming, so it was a relief when my fellow conference attendees mercifully texted me to say where they were going for dinner. I paid my bill with a modicum of a tip and resolved to strike Stone Hound from my list. For the rest of my business trip, I spread my money instead to places that didn't treat me like an unwanted outsider. Plenty of them in TC, including another brewery in town.

I had the Hazy and my husband had a West Coast IPA, and both were fabulous. My Hazy was honestly one of the top hazy beers I've had. The menu looked amazing too, and we had such a hard time deciding what to order. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so good that we actually wished we had more time in Ludington because we would have come back here for dinner again! My husband ordered the Hog Father Burger with fries, and WOW. The burger was absolutely mouthwatering, especially with the pork belly, and I couldn't stop stealing bites from him. The fries were incredibly crunchy and delicious, and the burger was so filling that he couldn't even finish it. I ordered the shrimp tacos, which came out somewhat deconstructed, and I actually thought that was fun. The shrimp was served over rice with pickled red onions, and it came with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and Mexican cheese on the side so you could build them however you wanted. Everything was delicious, but those pickled red onions were especially good! We sat out on the patio, which was a really nice area. The inside was also large and everything was very clean. The only slightly odd part of our visit was our waitress. I'm going to give her some grace because maybe she was just having a bad day, but there were a couple of interactions that felt a little strange, including when we first walked in and the way she spoke to a few people as they were being seated. That said, she was efficient, and I'll take a peculiar waitress who gets the job done over slow service any day! Overall, this was absolutely a 5-star brewery experience. Great beer, fantastic food, a nice patio, a clean and spacious atmosphere, and a menu we wished we had more time to explore. We would definitely come back!
