We didn't ask for it to go back but all aside the food from appetizers at cocktail hour that kept coming were all delicious! There was a fry bar, taco bar, and charcuterie. Dinner started with a pasta then salad and a choice of chicken, steak, or salmon. The salmon was great and so were mashed potatoes! Overall great venue.

We all needed and clearly requested Rental Clubs and Golf Bags over the phone in advance because we were travelers from Out Of Town. We were all experienced golfers with established Handicaps. None of us had ever played the course so we were really looking forward to it! -Well manicured Orchard Fairways and Greens. -Beer & soft drinks available for purchase. Unfortunately no "easy to purchase" food or snacks at ProShop. A small "Grab and Go Fresh Sandwich Cooler Display" would be beneficial. Missed business opportunity there! -Clueless staff in ProShop barely greeted us and struggled to provide the Rental Clubs we reserved in advance. We were all charged the Full Price plus Greens Fees. After teeing off right on time, our group happily started play. By the 5th hole, we realized all our rental bags were very dirty and full of rips. One bag had nothing but a few tees, some old candy wrappers, no spare balls or markers. Most of the clubs were grimy and mismatched. After 9-holes we had to stop at the turn and go back to ProShop b/c one golf bag had five of the same 7-irons! Really?! One Golf Driver was completely dented on the back side. No Excuses! Plenty of staff working there. So Disappointed in the lack of Customer Service! We were friendly and courteous to all Golf Attendants. We did complete our Golf Round. Our Pace Of Play was excellent. We were always waiting on the group ahead of us. Unfortunately there were very limited logo Golf Shirts or any other merchandise available for purchase, at the end of our round. -Management can do better with small improvements in training their staff and prioritizing how they treat their customers!

The entrance was very an unassuming so my first impression was just meh. The courtyard where the cocktail and hors d'oeuvres were held was just plain. The food was good though. Very tasty. The back area had a fire pit and seating while inside there were epic chandeliers, toasty fireplaces, and long tables set up along the sides with a large dance hall area for the middle in a giant hall. The actual wedding took place in a greenhouse like atrium attached and covered outside. Seriously, gorgeous building and location for any special occasion or wedding. The service was impeccable. Waiters came by for the toasting hour before dinner with little appetizers and canapes. There was some kind of delicious mapley fatty bacon in there somewhere that was awesome. So why four stars and not five? Man, those bartenders, even though they are very generous and sweet as can be, cannot pour a good drink. I switched from wine because I wasn't a fan of it to quickly an old fashioned which tasted incredibly off. I think because it was a more classic style. But then later I experimented with trying a Manhattan cocktail after I saw my friend with it and that was even worse. Finally, resolved to sticking to well liquor and a simple mixer and everything was fine after that. The food was meh. The salad course was actually my favorite part. I'm not sure if they make the food on premises though or if there is a catering deal of sorts. But we had an arugula salad with a lemon vinaigrette and shaved pecorino romano and it was AWESOME. So flavorful and simple and refreshing. For my entree the choices were either diver sea scallops or New York Strip Steak. Easy choice. Steak, duh. It was served with garrison seasonal farm vegetables and parmesan risotto in a red wine jus. The sauce was interesting - good I think but weird. The meat was really tough. It was cooked okay but it was just a super poor cut of meat with a lot of fat grizzle and just hard to chew and enjoy. That was the main focal point of the meal though and I was pretty dismayed. Also heard from other people at the wedding that the scallops were just as bad. Very tiny portion and it had a funky off taste to them. Great location, stunning and in every sense beautiful beyond words. Food and drinks - very meh. Solid Four stars.

It is fun and challenging, not to mention very nicely maintained and an absolute bargain. If you play the blues it's still pretty tough for an average golfer (#3 plays ~200 yards for a par 3, for example). The namesake hill on #8 is downright nasty, and you have zero chance of getting on the green in 1 no matter how big a hitter you are so you have to lay up at the bottom of the hill and then rocket one up there to have a chance. I am a huge huge fan.

I have no idea what is going on back in the kitchen because I had a violent case of food poisoning from eating a salad off their menu. The course is beautiful, the administration is very friendly but I would avoid eating at the clubhouse. I just can't bring myself to ever eat there again. I went to urgent care then was sent to the hospital because I was so sick with salmonella from there kitchen.

This place is now called falkirk country club or something like that, but it's definitely falkirk…read moresomething. i'd go 3 and a half here. it's not the most maintained course at all, but is usually in good enough shape. 51 bucks with cart is not too bad. a very short course where the driver is not needed on a few holes for sure. those with a slice/fade could get crushed here for sure. accuracy is definitely rewarded here. many of the greens have pronounced 'mounds' in them where if you miss chip/putt, your ball is gone! and my favorite part about the place is that if you go in early afternoon, you fly through the course and could easily play 27-36 if you wanted to as there are no rangers who care at all, just keep on playing!

And after just one visit here I'm upset I never tried this sooner. The staff here is really friendly and helpful and will be glad to answer any questions. I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back. I was here with my 7 year old and we both had a great time. Great for families as well. Great vibe here. Highly recommended. Price is good as well.
