AUGUST 2025, Our foursome were in town for a wedding. We were able to secure an 18-hole tee time…read more2-weeks in advance. We all needed and clearly requested Rental Clubs and Golf Bags over the phone in advance because we were travelers from Out Of Town. We were all experienced golfers with established Handicaps. None of us had ever played the course so we were really looking forward to it! -Well manicured Orchard Fairways and Greens. -Beer & soft drinks available for purchase. Unfortunately no "easy to purchase" food or snacks at ProShop. A small "Grab and Go Fresh Sandwich Cooler Display" would be beneficial. Missed business opportunity there! -Clueless staff in ProShop barely greeted us and struggled to provide the Rental Clubs we reserved in advance. We were all charged the Full Price plus Greens Fees. After teeing off right on time, our group happily started play. By the 5th hole, we realized all our rental bags were very dirty and full of rips. One bag had nothing but a few tees, some old candy wrappers, no spare balls or markers. Most of the clubs were grimy and mismatched. After 9-holes we had to stop at the turn and go back to ProShop b/c one golf bag had five of the same 7-irons! Really?! One Golf Driver was completely dented on the back side. No Excuses! Plenty of staff working there. So Disappointed in the lack of Customer Service! We were friendly and courteous to all Golf Attendants. We did complete our Golf Round. Our Pace Of Play was excellent. We were always waiting on the group ahead of us. Unfortunately there were very limited logo Golf Shirts or any other merchandise available for purchase, at the end of our round. -Management can do better with small improvements in training their staff and prioritizing how they treat their customers!

Played East Course Mid Day. Lots of elevation changes. Whole course is in good condition.read more

This was the second time I went to Cedar Lake Estates for a work retreat. What an incredible…read moreproperty. Every single detail has been thought of. The food is absolutely delicious! There is so much to do, whether you want to be active or chill and be cozy. There are a bunch of types and sizes of cabins to choose from. The staff were incredible friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for work functions, wedding, family reunions, or even just a weekend getaway.

Stayed here over a long weekend. I HIGHLY recommend! My only qualm is that it's quite expensive,…read moreespecially for the room we stayed in (which was expected), but I feel like there are aspects that should've been included for the price. That aside, I would come back here in a heartbeat. Beautiful grounds, clean, kind and welcoming staff, delicious food, and dog friendly! If you're looking for a cozy escape from the city, this is the place. We stayed in the Lakeside cottage, which I highly recommend. Room was perfection - the wood fireplace was exactly what I wanted. Food was delicious. Breakfast buffet every morning was the best buffet I've ever had. My only con is that I feel like some of the things should've been included in the price versus having an extra fee. For example, there's a movie night option but it costs $45 per person... (though it comes with popcorn + candy). I feel like the movie viewing should be free. There's also an option for their "famous" breakfast buns that cost $7 per bun. Not an unreasonable cost, but since you're already paying a daily fee for food it seems like something like this should be included.

After a rough couple of years coming out to play golf and just looking out at a beautiful, well…read moremaintained golf course sort of brings back some feeling of normalcy for me. This place is rich with history and is run by a former PGA Pro with a great staff. You can set up golf lessons if you are a complete golf newbie to get a few tips to start or if you want to just hone your golf skills. It's not just a rich mans sport. Their prices for me are ridiculously affordable and reasonable. It's a 9 hole course and you can even rent carts if you don't feel like walking. I am always on the fence about walking the course but renting a cart makes so much more sense and fun :-). It's a great way to play a quick game when you are in the area or just spend the day playing golf.

Bang for your Buck. This was an okay 9 hole course. It was here since the 1900's and they went…read morebankrupt, so now, there's a new owner. The paths need so much help! Not even maintained. The other thing was, when I was teeing off #5, I got it in the brush and as I go to swing, a fat wood tick attempted to bite my legs. It was frantic to get on my body. I hit it so quick it only climbed on me. After that point on I was shook. Then... there's a lone star tick on the caddy car and I killed it with my shoe. So many ticks. Other then that great hole out. It needs some TLC, that will probably mean hundred thousand dollar renovation or some other ridiculous amount analytic people get.
