After a rough couple of years coming out to play golf and just looking out at a beautiful, well maintained golf course sort of brings back some feeling of normalcy for me. This place is rich with history and is run by a former PGA Pro with a great staff. You can set up golf lessons if you are a complete golf newbie to get a few tips to start or if you want to just hone your golf skills. It's not just a rich mans sport. Their prices for me are ridiculously affordable and reasonable. It's a 9 hole course and you can even rent carts if you don't feel like walking. I am always on the fence about walking the course but renting a cart makes so much more sense and fun :-). It's a great way to play a quick game when you are in the area or just spend the day playing golf. read more

Bang for your Buck. This was an okay 9 hole course. It was here since the 1900's and they went bankrupt, so now, there's a new owner. The paths need so much help! Not even maintained. The other thing was, when I was teeing off #5, I got it in the brush and as I go to swing, a fat wood tick attempted to bite my legs. It was frantic to get on my body. I hit it so quick it only climbed on me. After that point on I was shook. Then... there's a lone star tick on the caddy car and I killed it with my shoe. So many ticks. Other then that great hole out. It needs some TLC, that will probably mean hundred thousand dollar renovation or some other ridiculous amount analytic people get. read more

Great course at an affordable price. $25 for 18 holes with a cart on weekends. I usually play Cliff Park after a night of camping on the Delaware or on the way to or from visiting relatives in north eastern PA. It is conveniently located a few minutes off Route 84. Last time I played here, we were given free hot dogs and draft beer. Staff is extremely friendly. My favorite hole is #3 which is a 180 yard par 3 on which the tee box is one cliff which drops about 50 feet. All around beautiful views. read more

Located on the campus of Cliff Park Inn & Golf Course, the Cross Eyed Cricket is located behind the Inn itself and has its own entrance. Since it is non smoking in the building (yay), patrons are forced to go outside, but there is an overhang so the smokers do not get wet (which is a plus because it was raining when we went). Came here with camp for our "end of summer" party. You walk down the stairs and walk through a hallway, which has closets on one side and wall on the other. The restroom is also located in this area. Upon entering the main room, off to the left is the bar with seating for about 10 people. They have a few beers on tap, one of which is Guinness. Off to the right is a pool table, that costs a dollar to play and behind it is a flat screen tv. There are also a few tables set up so that you have a place to sit. Upstairs is a banquet area, with more seating, which is more like a restaurant/bar that you would find at a country club, and it overlooks the course, which you notice through the bay windows. The food wasn't too bad, but then again, we had camp fare. Pizza, quesadillas, and chicken wings. The chix wings were more for the beer! Ha. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. This is my favorite little gem in the mountains of Pa just off the northwest corner of Nj. It has that rustic mountain feeling with great views. Bald Eagles are a common sight here. Joe and his family are great down to earth People who will make you feel at home. If you are new to golf and want a relaxed family experience, you will love it here. Joe has plenty of clubs and bags around. If you are a Newbie I am sure he will help you should you need gear. Other events are Hay Rides, night golf with glow sticks and glow balls. It is in the National Delaware Recreation area so there are hiking trails just outside the course. Several of the holes you are on high bluffs hitting into the beautiful valley. My favorite holes are 6 and 7 which are back to back 500 + yard dog legs. A challenge for the well seasoned golfer. Behind the green at hole six is a pond with benches which is part of the Park. You can take a break and relax by the pond between holes. The park has Clean rest rooms off to the right of the pond as well. Enjoy! read more

Threw our same sex wedding at Cliff Park Golf on 7/26/2015 absolutely the best for our outdoor wedding. Party was well over 150 people. Joe Stead the proprietor was awesome and catered to our every need. A really sincere and considerate guy. Can not say enough good things :) We had the time of our lives, as it should be. read more

The course is under new management and they have done an excellent job bringing the course back from the grave conditions it was in with prior owners. Greens are smooth, fast and well cut. Fairways are clearly defined with visible 2nd cut lines and yes the rough is thick where it should be. That's why it's called rough, and that is what adds challenge to the course. Multiple holes have elevated tee boxes which offer stunning views of the course/surrounding area. At $25 for 18 + cart, you really can't find a better deal. The course also has a short shot driving range, allowing you to warm up and practice before starting your round. I highly recommend this course to local golfers at any skill level. read more

Oh boy. Where to start? I'm not a pro golfer by any means, but for the price this is one of the worst golf courses you can play in the area. I've never lost so many balls that clearly landed on the "fairway" in my life. Their is no real fairway for that matter and the rough consists of grass up to 5 inches high. That is typically located on the fringe of the green by the way. I played here religiously for months to get my game together and wish I had spent the money else where. The course is very poorly maintained and for $25 for 18 holes even at twilight you are better off spending the extra money at Hidden Acres or High Point. read more
