This is our favorite mini golf in the Lake Wallenpaupack area. We try to go every year on my birthday in late July.

Absolutely incredible service from here. We came towards closing time, but the kind and brilliant worker let us play anyways. August 28th.

No one can deny the beauty of Riverview and at the end of the day I got to marry my husband, but…read moresome of the things that took place during my wedding reception here this past weekend were unacceptable. For starters, the venue was not decorated as discussed with the coordinator. Examples include no decor on outside tables, sweetheart table had no napkins and favors were left in a plastic bag on the table, candles surrounding the cake table were left not lit, and more. During the event, the coordinator was nowhere to be found most of the night to try to resolve issues while the event was going on. The food, though delicious, took over an hour from the time the first table was served to the last (and we only had 140 guests). They provided the excuse that the pictures took too long (we were over 15 minutes due to bustling my dress). The amount of time it took to serve dinner significantly cut into our guests' time on the dance floor and we also had to scratch having a public cake cutting and anniversary dance to save some time. We even had 4 guests leave because they could not wait any longer to eat. In addition to the amount of time it took for them to serve the food, multiple guests told me that they were also served the wrong meal and the last few tables to be served said their food was ice cold. Once we did cut our cake, they took it to serve it and ended up cutting into our anniversary cake and were ready to serve it until one of my family members stopped them just in time. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper for an extended period of time. The bartenders did not know how to make our specialty drinks and one of the guests had to teach them how to make it after they were given the wrong drink (it was a mule, very common drink). One of the staff members serving hors d'oeuvres did not have napkins to give the guests. When a guest asked about this they told said guest that they were not allowed back in the kitchen to grab napkins. True or not, why would you tell that to a guest? These are just the things I have heard so far, and I am genuinely concerned to hear what else went on. I reached out to management two days after the wedding and I have yet to hear back. I would strongly advise others to think again about choosing Riverview.

This place is rich with history and is run by a former PGA Pro with a great staff. You can set up golf lessons if you are a complete golf newbie to get a few tips to start or if you want to just hone your golf skills. It's not just a rich mans sport. Their prices for me are ridiculously affordable and reasonable. It's a 9 hole course and you can even rent carts if you don't feel like walking. I am always on the fence about walking the course but renting a cart makes so much more sense and fun :-). It's a great way to play a quick game when you are in the area or just spend the day playing golf.

The other thing was, when I was teeing off #5, I got it in the brush and as I go to swing, a fat wood tick attempted to bite my legs. It was frantic to get on my body. I hit it so quick it only climbed on me. After that point on I was shook. Then... there's a lone star tick on the caddy car and I killed it with my shoe. So many ticks. Other then that great hole out. It needs some TLC, that will probably mean hundred thousand dollar renovation or some other ridiculous amount analytic people get.
