I'm usually skeptical when a company has a perfect 5-star rating (check the Google ratings, too), but if the job they did for me is any indication, they've worked hard to earn every star. My rental property in Alexandria got hit with back-to-back storms, and my tenant texted that a man named Jesse knocked on the door to offer free roof inspection services. Yes, someone knocking on the door usually raises a flag for me, but I checked out their website and thought, "Why not?" Within a week, Jesse met with an inspector from my insurance company (USAA), and Jennifer from the office sent the proposal to them. Billy (company owner) and I met online to get all the contract details in order, Melissa coordinated a date with my tenant, and when the day came, the Pure Roofing Team replaced the roof in one day. The tenant reported that the roof looks fantastic and that the clean-up was impeccable. The team made everything so seamless and easy; the hardest thing I had to do was pick out the tile color. Their quality work just upped the value of my property, and the best part: I only had to pay the deductible! You'll see a lot of the other reviews state how customer-oriented this company is and how happy they are with the work they did - I definitely am, and I think you will be, too!

The crew at Pure did an incredible job. Excellent assessment, great help with the insurance company, terrific customer service at each step. Multiple visits and consultations to work out the tricky parts. And when it came to the day of the work, they showed up with 15 guys at 5:30am and had it done by 1:00pm -- it was amazing to watch. Absolute hustle. Everything was immaculate after, including dragging all of the nearby turf and access points with magnets to collect any loose nails. Great service throughout. I am not in the habit of writing glowing reviews but I gotta say, these folks did an amazing job. I'll hire them again when my house needs a new roof.

We walked around the house before and after the task was completed to ensure that we were pleased with job. I got special permission to telework so I could be here. Literally less than 1 hour before the appointment, I got a call from John asking if I can reschedule. I told him that I could not but I was not able to talk so I called him back about 30 minutes later. I made it clear that I was very unhappy about this because I had taken the day to have him come over. John said, "I'm not gonna make a bid deal about this. I'm telling you we're not coming today and do you want to reschedule?" I was very disappointed as his tone was clearly dismissive. There was no explanation as to why this happened or an attempt to be apologetic. If this is the kind of interaction I get when I'm trying to decide to hire you, what will it be like when I've already given you guys a deposit? It's too bad because the reason I reached out to them was because of friend of mine had a good experience with them. These guys ought to realize the importance of personal references. Tony has completed 3 projects on my home: roof, gutters, and now siding. He did a great job on the roof and gutters hence why I used him for my siding, but the siding has some issues which need to be addressed. I recommended Tony highly to neighbors who have used him and have given him a lot of business, now that I need him to come back to discuss some of the concerns I have he is not responding to my texts, calls, or emails. I am very concerned of this lack of communication and for this reason along with the issues I am facing with the recent siding job I cannot recommend him. I signed a contract stating there is a 10-year Labor Warranty stating " This warranty guarantees that your siding has been installed with the utmost of care and for 10-yrs if there is any siding installment issue doe to craftsmanship by Water Shield LLC, the siding issue will be rectified with the labor free of charge to homeowner". I plan to utilize legal services to ensure this binding contract is followed.

If he cannot achieve one of the two while meeting with you, don't expect a quote or a the decency of a timely response. Its unethical that he chooses to cherry pick jobs when a customer in need of a service is ignored bc he simply doesn't want the job. I understand business, if it's not worth your time you can just say so. Neither myself or my husband were rude. It was in assessing the roof, which is leaking in one area at the seam which was warped, Marvin suggested making multiple fixes to additional areas that weren't even leaking. I assume as a pre-emptive measure and I appreciate the suggestion, but who has money to fix things that aren't currently broken. My Wife and I looked it over and realized that there was a discrepancy in how long the warranty is. One part of the contract (which was clearly created by him) stated that they would provide a 12-year warranty for their work. Another part of the contract (which was probably created by an attorney) stated that they would provide an 8-year warranty for their work as well. When he arrived I asked him about the discrepancy in the contract and he said that the contract was done by his lawyer. I asked him if he could update the contract to reflect the correct warranty and he got upset because I questioned him about it. He literally stormed out the house after I asked him to do this. As he was leaving I yelled out for him to make the updates and as soon as I receive it I will scan it back to him. He brushed me off and kept going. I haven't heard from him since! I gave him 24-hours before calling him but to no avail. I called him a couple more times and even texted him letting him know I was still waiting on him to return my phone call. Still NOTHING. Take this as a warning. READ THE FINE PRINT IN YOUR CONTRACT!
