They're constantly putting almost due items on such amazing sales. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. During our first couple weeks here we went to buy some wet pet food, couldn't find it when we got home, went back and they checked the camera footage where we left with the item and they didn't see anything in any of the recent carts so we chalked it up to bad luck and bought another one because well, that's life. Over a month later they told my husband while he was shopping today that they found it in a cart, held it for us and gave it to him! I'm surprised they remembered him/the situation. They also have a great deli, salad bar, and their Mexican bread is definitely a standout. There's a nice variety of options, and I love that this store is right in the heart of Calistoga. The only downside is the parking lot is a little small -- think along the lines of a Trader Joe's parking situation -- but don't let that stop you from visiting. A great local stop for delicious treats, everyday essentials, and a little something extra!

The store changed ownership in 2011 and has expanded the inventory and made some drastic upgrades to the inside and outside of the store. To our cycling friend Greg H. Thanks for the 4 star review, but i do want to clear up one thing about the water bottle...technically it is cinsidered cross contamination for our deli worker to fill any outside container in any one of our sinks and she was just following the rules and regulations set forth by state health codes. We pride ourselves in giving people the best and friendliest service possible and hope that this slight technicality will not deter you from visiting us again.
