Today, the checker who claimed to be a "manager" rushed so fast that he overcharged me for at least six items that were CLEARLY MARKED 50% Discount with orange stickers. There were only two regular checkers about 6 pm on a Wednesday; the "15 only items" were closed. When I went to the self-help (I had about 14 items, several with 50% discount stickers) the attendant at the self-help turned me down and told me to move to a regular checker because I had discount items. Previous self-help employee (Brenda) has always helped me check out and scan my discounted items for me, very kindly and quickly, since I am disabled and have difficulty standing. When I told the check I needed to sit at the Starbucks area for a half minute (after waiting on line for nearly 20 minutes with only two people before me), the checker "Victor" stopped ringing up my items and loudly told me I was holding up people who were waiting, that I was holding up other people by sitting - when about half of my items were still on the counter to be rung up! I returned to the counter, and he was rude and I was offended at his attitude. I asked for him to be kinder and he said "you should be a manager". I replied "you would be a better manager!" Then he retorted "I AM A MANAGER"! When I examined my receipt at home, the total was nearly $90, I was not given the 50% discount on more than 6 items - should have been closer to $65.

I have NEVER had this happen at Safeway or at grocery outlet. I think that the owners need to reevaluate their employees because this is unacceptable behavior.
