Upon entering when your passcode is entered at the entrance it automatically lets your personal alarm know that when the unit is opened it is YOU opening it and not someone else. Also there is a manager in site with security cameras in every location. Did I mention the staff and the cleanliness this place has? Well the staff are just so nice and helpful with carts available upon request to help load ur things. Also the units are climate controlled . Their Customer Care and Delivery Teams were fantastic, including Aaron (who picked up my Zippy Shell container at the destination). I have moved items from the West Coast to East Coast and back several times over the years. It is not easy moving a lot of items over a long distance without paying an arm and a leg or losing/breaking things. Zippy Shell gave me confidence that my belongings would arrive without issue (and it did). I initially signed a contract with a full, comprehensive moving service, but after hours wasted on multiple phone calls/no-shows, I ended up cancelling the service due to lack of reliability and trustworthiness from their staff. In contrast, the Zippy Shell agent on the phone worked to make the service perfect for what were important to me: budget and reliability. I wish I could remember the name of the first person that helped me at Zippy Shell in the Customer Care team. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to go sign the agreement that day even though it was not the cheapest quote I had received. There are always little hiccups (e.g. the Zippy Shell and Pack Rat systems don't seem to play nice), but Zippy Shell has been fantastic overall! Most importantly, I felt assured my belongings would safely arrive. They will be my first call in the future.

There was a team of 6 that showed up for the job. They were nice and professional. As a matters of fact, their team lead pointed out the crack in the TV after it got moved to our new residence. He assured us we would be able to submit a claim and it would be taken care of. The claim was ultimately denied and they said it's because we can't prove the TV wasn't like that prior to the move. So basically when we did the initial walk through, not a single one of the 6 men noted the crack?Interesting. Read other reviews and do your own research before using this company. It looks like this has happened to a few people.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the completely unacceptable situation at Public…read moreStorage, Building C. Since yesterday, the elevator has been out of service. Even more concerning, there is no access through the stairs either because the stairway is blocked. This means customers with storage units in Building C have absolutely no way to access their property. The person in charge informed us that there is currently no access and that someone was supposed to come today to repair the elevator. However, we are still waiting with no clear answer, no solution, and no reliable timeframe for when access will be restored. As far as I know, the elevator has already been broken for at least two days, and there is no way of knowing how much longer this situation will continue. It is unbelievable that a storage facility can have both the elevator unavailable and the stairway inaccessible at the same time, leaving paying customers completely unable to reach their belongings. This is unacceptable. We are paying for a storage unit that we cannot access. Customers should not have to simply wait day after day without answers while Public Storage fails to provide a safe and functional way to access the building. I am requesting that this matter be escalated immediately to management, that the elevator and/or stairway access be restored as soon as possible, and that Public Storage provide a clear explanation of what is being done to resolve this issue. I also expect Public Storage to address compensation or a credit for the period during which customers have been denied access to their units. This situation requires immediate attention and a concrete response--not simply being told to continue waiting.
