So I become a loyal "brand" customer...and rented at different locations in Toronto and Florida. I happened to come across 28 Estate Drive in Scarborough. I found their customer service superior! I am missing more than half of my stuff that's not furniture. All sports memorbial, all video gaming equipment and games, jewelry, sports jerseys and much more. They are only open from 10pm till 5am and can tell when you enter and when you leave so they would have 7 hours to take pictures then remove your items take what they find valuable and put everything else back in place to try and fool you. Although everyt8me I entered it looked different then the time b4, when I brought this up she had laughed and asked why anyone would do that, playing stupid. Anyways after me paying for insurance every month there is nothing I can do and these storage facilities know this, therefore know they can rob you blind while upping your rent every 6 months to a year. I started paying $226/ month and finished at $504. 79 in a 10 year span. I can rent a room in a house with shared amenities I.E. running water, electricity and appliances for Less then they are asking for a 10x15. Absolutely disgusting joke. When we moved our things in we, unfortunately, had the mishap of having 2 boxes that were left outside our unit. We received a phone call from them the next day saying we had two boxes that had remained in the hallway. I was grateful and thank them but and let them know that I was in between Montreal and Toronto and not back for another 3 weeks only when I returned I was informed that they had thrown away my boxes. I was absolutely stunned and frankly devastated because the value of the boxes was very important and precious to me. I was offered no compensation and was told that the management doesn't want them to keep anything for customers. And that the cleaning crew threw out my two boxes. That is obviously not what they did with the boxes. I stayed for a full year in their establishment in despite this since most my things were already there. I offered a reward to get my things back but obviously never got them back.
