I called and spoke with a representative who informed me that the $154 a month is an introductory price and that my rent will be raised frequently. When I ask why, they just keep saying that the contract states they can raise the rent whenever they want. Well I will not stand to do business with a sleezy company. It turns out there were only 3 actual working carts for the entire premises and she was waiting for approval for more carts. She offered no solution to how I would be able to move in all of my stuff and I was on a time crunch to do so as well. I called around to find an alternate storage facility that same day and moved back out what I had put into the unit the next morning. There was no offer to reimburse the first month that I had paid despite the manager having misled me about the cart situation. I received a rate increase notice by mail last month which increases my monthly rental by 50%!! I called the facility today to find out that there is a new manager, Paul, who basically said his hands are tied and I am stuck with the 50% increase. Renters beware ... I would never use a facility again who thinks a 50% increase is acceptable. I will be moving my items out as soon as practical which is difficult being currently out of state.
