Stor-N-Loc is GREAT! They have always taken care of me. I needed another storage, they gave me one right next to the one I was renting. The Staff is more than accommodating. If needed I would definitely rent another storage from them. Give them a try you won't be sorry you did!!! read more

I found the employees were very courteous and helpful. The facility is clean. I would highly recommend.

I'm not sure if I have ever written a review for anything. Now I am pleased to say that has changed. Brian and Amber at the Santa Rosa Ave. facility demonstrated a level of customer service that I thought was extinct. The effort that was made, particularly by Brian, was so extensive, so complete and so sincere that in the beginning I admit I had my doubts. I'll end by saying these two are the "Real Deal". A happy, feel good ending. Tom L. read more

I highly recommend stor-n-loc storage for anyone seeking a safe space to store their items. Brian and Co. we're very helpful and friendly from the start, and transparent about expectations, price, and safety. Don't hesitate to chose this business as your safe place to leave prized belongings. read more

I will never use this storage facility again. I recently used this facility to store my belongings while I was on a combat deployment to the Middle East. I chose to use them because they had a move in special and the rate was fair. I stored all my life's material possessions here for the past 21 months. Here's what really pissed me off about this place, and my experience with them. Prior to leaving for my deployment, I had my storage bill set up on an automatic payment. And I also filled out a form to add my wife to the account so she could have access our belongings, and pay the bill if the need arose. It was a good thing I thought that far ahead, and did this. Because a few months into my deployment, my debit card was compromised and I had to cancel it. Thus voiding this automatic payment. But to no avail, and even though I was engaged in combat on the other side of the world I communicated back to my wife to go pay our storage bill on time. Now here's what really really pisses me off. My wife let the storage staff know that my card on file was compromised and my auto payment wouldn't be going through any longer. She made the payment in person and requested if she could set up a new auto payment. To which they told her NO! My wife said they were extremely rude to her every time she had to deal with them (every month for the last 6 months of my deployment). Part of me did not want to believe someone would be rude to the wife of an American Soldier. Let alone one who was dealing with the stress of her husband in harms way. But I do believe they were rude to her every time. Because I have seen with my own eyes the way they treat other people... I digress... anyhow... they made it a real pain in the butt to pay them, due to not allowing my wife to set up an automatic payment and having to go there in person every time and deal with their rude attitudes. I was also not pleased that some of my belongings were destroyed because rodents had moved into my unit while I was away. I never had a single speck of food, or cosmetic product or anything that even resembled food in my unit. But I did notice the unit next to mine had a lien lock on it. So I do suspect the unit next to mine may have attracted the rodents. Nevertheless some of my items were chewed on, and defecated on by rodents. Upon closing my storage and planning my move out. I asked them two weeks in advance, what their move out procedures were. How much notice I needed to give etc. I was told as long as you are out by close of business on the last day of the month you are good to go. So the last day of the month arrives, and I had all but one item out of our storage unit. Which was a vehicle. Requiring me to get a ride down there to pick up. I called ahead to let them know we would be cutting it close to the closing time, like ten minutes prior to closing. And was rudely told if it's not cleared by 6pm on the last day of the month, I would be charged. I never questioned their rules and fully understood them. I was attempting to be polite and advise that I would be there to close out my account. Trying to save us both time at the end of the day. I've been a business professional for the past 21 years. No one likes to have a last minute customer on the last day of the month. I get that! But if someone had called ahead to me, I would have replied with ok Mr. Castro I will get your close out paperwork going for you... see you when you get down here. I was never late with my payment, and I tried my damndest to be nice and professional with these people. But in the end, they were rude and burned me!!!! I can tolerate when people be rude to me... But I CANNOT STAND PEOPLE BEING RUDE TO MY WIFE!!! I will never use this storage facility again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Stor-N-Loc Self Service Storage - 31 OCT 2018, 5:53pm unit H-50 all cleared out to close account and never return to this rat infested hell hole! - Self Storage Near Me - Santa Rosa, California

When searching for an affordable storage that I felt was secure enough to put most of my worldly possessions in while I went out of state, Stor-N-Loc was the only option. The fact that they closed at 6 was also nice, but the on-site managers, Brian and his partner Clover, they doesn't mess around when it comes to keeping this facility secure, and ask them about their specials, best in town by far! Kudos and Thank-you!! read more

I rented a storage space for about 12 months and the service was excellen. I would definitely recommend this place!

It's NOT worth the price!!! Don't be fooled like I was!!! This nightmare encounter motivated me to sign up for Yelp and warn others... Brian is manager there, yet the few encounters I have had with him have left me violated to say the least. I JUST got this storage a month ago and today was a NIGHTMARE when I went into the office to sign up for a "required" Credit Card authorization form in order to pay my monthly bill with a credit card over the phone...really??? I had to make a special trip just to pay my bill... Ironically when I walked in Brian was on the phone entering into thecomputer someone's credit card information for a payment to their account.. How convenient for them... hmmm... In any case, when I simply asked why I wasnt provided with the form when I rented the unit so I didn't have to make a special trip to pay my bill, Brian became IRATE and began insulting me, asking me if I was HIGH(3x)...., slamming his hand down on the desk, not letting me speak.... Really, it was such INSANITY that I couldn't believe I was actually giving this person MY MONEY AND TRUSTING HIM WITH MY PROPERTY!!!! Brian was combative and had no interest in having a calm, adult, BUSINESS-LIKE conversation... It was surreal... When I picked up my credit card AND ID (he required it again) it touched his hand and he yelled.. "DID YOU JUST HIT ME?".. I'll spare you all the details since I can hardly believe it myself... MY GOD, Save yourself the trouble... You get what you pay for... Obviously I'm looking for a more secure, professionally staffed facility for my money.. And that's IF my stuff's still secure when I return... :( read more

I've been packing and moving now for a month. Lisa the manager is super pleasant and easy to work with and helpful! Didn't actually get a storage unit, just bought boxes and packing paper/wrap. This has made this experience run much smoother. Thank you Lisa for all your help and kindness! read more

I've opened a storage unit for the first time in my life. I needed to be somewhere convenient and affordable. Stor-N-Loc is the perfect place for me. RATS RATS RATS RATS. I had NO food in my unit but the gaps from unit to unit are huge a person could fit through them. I had to throw away my bad, purses, clothing, they chewed through the plastic coverings and ruined the majority of my things. So if you want to pay to have your belongings ruined, this is the place for you! read more

Honestly these people don't even deserve the credit of having 1 star. They are incredibility rude, combative, untrustworthy company. Brian n his staff really should take a lesson from A1 storage on how customer service really should be handled. I will NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS with these crooks again and STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DON'T EITHER.. read more

I'm very upset I even had to give them a one star. They are conmen by taking people's money and storage facilities but not allowing them to close them. I tried to close one for my elderly mother who is in the hospital and they refused to and less I gave them a signed notarized letter from a woman sick with cancer in the hospital. Once again do not go hear you're better off throwing your stuff in the street and shooting yourself in the foot. Do not go here! Worst customer service I have ever had any business as long as I've lived. read more

I paid for a few months but never moved anything in. None of the people I paid to help me relocate my stuff to this facility were allowed in that place. So on the last day to pay rent I requested a walk through so I could terminate my agreement. They said they needed another $20. I explained I never moved anything in when they threatened to auction the contents of my unit. They wouldn't take the money and put me in collections. Now they want over $300. I'm going to the consumer fraud division at the district attorney's office. The Yelp reviews I've read convinced me not to move in officially. I wish I read them before I got a unit there. read more

I have been using Stor-n-Loc on & off for over 10 years. I have found Brian to be absolutely trustworthy in his business dealings and diligent about maintaining the property in the best possible manner for his renters. I have also watched renters tear into him because they wanted him to break the rules the owners have established for their investment. I have heard him carefully explain the rules to every renter and I have never heard him raise his voice in an untoward manner towards anyone. read more

Out of the many storage places to pic from, I am glad I found this one. I needed a lot of space & shopped around for prices. Best price by far for a 10x30. Went down to Check it out and found it very well kept & clean. Brian help'd me through the paperwork witch was a snap, showed me around & that was it. I have now been doing business with these guys for two years & recommended them to other family members who are also now happy with there service. I recently went in to pay my monthly bill & on the way out of office Brian wished me a Merry Xmas & asked how my brother was doing (by name) since my brother now sends his payment in & has not been in office for a while. I really feel like I have friends at Store n Loc & will highly recommend. I will continue doing business with them for all my storage needs. Maurice R. read more

This place has worn out rubber weather stripping on all the door bottoms ,that allows dirt to blow inside about the first ten feet. The manager will just look at you blankly if you tell him your stuff is getting filthy. Your not out on the 1st. they charge for the WHOLE month. Unlawful!!!!!! Absolutely no pro rating getting out of a unit, but they pro rate getting in to one!! Rip off. This place is bad.Don't be fooled by these rip offs. Go to the BBB. Contact the owners directly. They are well known for having break ins too!! read more

My wife and I had just moved from Redding Ca. to Santa Rosa and were discouraged by all of the over priced storage facilities in the area. we found store-n-loc online and liked the price. When we signed up we were made to feel very welcomed and felt very safe leaving all of our belongings in the storage facility. I had since returned several times to retrieve various items, and every time, the on-site manager, Brian, remembered me. This place, in my experience with them, was run with integrity, friendliness and was very secure. read more
