This place had high reviews, was open on the weekend, and the price was on the low end. Made an appointment for early morning. I asked them to check if the water pump also needed to be replaced also. Was told it would be a couple hours so we walked to the target plaza, 20-30 min away. 2 hours later, I got a call saying they checked and it wasn't urgent to replace the water belt, but they could. The price they quoted for both belts seemed extremely high since I had already gotten quotes from other shops, so I declined. I assumed since they were looking at the belts already, that they would start the work. But boy was I wrong. I probably wandered around target for another 30 min, then started walking back to the shop. And then proceeded to wait another hour or so until the car was ready. All in all, I probably waited 3-4 hours. If I had known it would take this long, I would've had someone pick me up.

I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.
