This location has gone from terribly bad to unbelievably horrible! It took over a wk to get refill…read moredone. I had tried to transfer rx fr another pharmacy to no avail. After a wk., finally got someone to pick up the phone. Pharmacy mngr. Kim said she would call me bk. I kept calling every hr as she didn't do what she said she was going to do. Finally got through to a female with the I.Q. of a banana who tried to give me attitude @ how busy they are blah blah blah. I gave it right bk. Kim then picks up calls me a child for getting angry and claims she called me TWICE! I checked call log on phone and there is no record of incoming call from CVS! I asked if the rx was ready. She said it would be ready in 30 mins. I said TY goodbye. Their issues are theirs. If they r incapable of performing their jobs in a timely manner, I hear Amazon is hiring. But you'd have to be able to read and write so maybe that wouldn't be an option. These r horrible ppl who deserve every lousy review they get! I'm 70 yrs old and ANYBODY having this much of an issue with a pharmacy would hv the same reaction...as evidenced by the reviews!

I saw multiple workers standing 20 feet away and they did nothing until the line of 8 people stared at them. Then yesterday, one of the younger cashiers yelled at someone on the phone and slammed the phone down. She then proceeded to swear up a storm and was throwing my things into the bag. She even hit my hand. This place has absolutely horrible workers.

(Also, both stores were dumpy, dirty, and had lots of empty shelves.) Then I went to Chapel Street Pharmacy. They had plenty of test kits (for half the price I paid at CVS), they had KN-95 masks, the store was clean and bright, and the pharmacist was extremely friendly. If I lived in New Haven I would take all my pharmacy business to this place.

I am able to to purchase my husband his favorite brand of DADS root beer, which is an older, hard to find elsewhere, but not here. I could purchase baby gifts, jewelry, outerwear, and holiday gifts. So, my friend got COVID. Well, her entire family did. So they're quarantining. She's fine, but has…read moresome pretty bad symptoms. So she asked me to help her out, get some prescriptions and OTC stuff at this Walgreens, right near both our houses and drop it off on her porch. Sure, is Sunday afternoon, I'm not doing anything else. Go to the pharmacy, easy as pie. Bam, get the Rx. Time to get the OTC stuff via curbside to go and this whole trip will be 15 minutes. Park in the curbside to go parking spot, call the store, tell them who I'm picking up for, "OK we'll be right out." 10 minutes later, nothing. I text her, she says she'll call. 5 minutes later, "OK, they said they'll be right out." Another 5-10 minutes go by, I call again, and then they tell me I need to come in to present my ID. This isn't ideal, because I have a toddler, who hasn't mastered wearing a mask yet, but I could have made it work, if I had just known right away that I needed to go in (like if the guy on the phone had just told me the first time I called?). Also, why can't they just check my ID in the car. Also, if they didn't realize that they needed ID prior to hanging up the first time and didn't have my number to call back, just walk out to my car and tell me. And then, why lie/withold this information from her when she called too?? I finally went inside, and they didn't even care about the inconvenience. Would have easily been a 5 star review for the pharmacy, but the curbside fiasco, waiting almost a half an hour drove that way down. I understand everyone is under a lot of stress/inconvenience with COVID, but like, use common sense/decency.
