When I asked if there was an issue, she said no, yet continued to watch me. The behavior made me feel as though I was being unfairly suspected of wrongdoing or possibly racially profiled, which is completely unacceptable. I was simply shopping for my child's birthday. Although the manager I spoke with was respectful, the situation itself should never have happened. No customer should be made to feel targeted, judged, or uncomfortable while shopping. This needs to be taken seriously and addressed to ensure it does not happen to anyone else.

Before finding the plastic I found it to be good. Very standard flavor (in a good way). But Big Y needs to be more careful. The plastic was clear so the piece we found could've easily been swallowed. I could go on and on about how poorly run this store is but I think you get the point. There is a section where the wall had to be repaired and it has been sitting unfinished for months. At the self check outs which are the only check outs open most of the time there are garbage cans with trash in them which has been there for weeks. Totally disqusting! This is a new store, only open a couple of years yet it is a god awful mess. I try not to go to it because of the profound filth! Get it together and clean the place!!!!!!!!!

Stop & Shop is a team player and the only supermarket in Newtown we shop at because they support our town and nation. Big Y no longer even has a bulletin board for residents!
