This is the best hidden gem I have ever found!! Two weeks ago I was trying to get a pedi the day before I left for vacation, I called around and most salons were closing at 7pm. At 645pm, without any hesitation, Jimmy and Tony took me and my fiancé both in. They didn't rush because the salon was already closed, instead they spent a full hour on our pedi's. On top of the pedi's being wonderful, the massages were the best ever!!! I live in Seattle but was in Bellevue spending time with my sister and needed a manicure bad. We yelp searched what places were nearby and decided to give this place a shot. I was SO impressed. Upon arrival, Tony greeted me and asked if he could get me any water or tea and if I had been in before. He also chatted with me about work and life, made me feel super welcome. Hong actually did my manicure and was meticulous, just like myself! She even went back over my nails a few times just to spot check for any problems (uneven tips, fuzz in polish, etc). I have deep ridges so the polish was settling into the grooves and she couldn't be stopped trying to fix them. They turned out perfect! Best manicure I've ever had. I'm genuinely very disappointed. I looked around for a great nail spot and finally found one about a year ago. The first 6 ish months I came here, I loved it. They did the most amazing job on my nails. But the past few months the service and quality has plummeted. I've been having to ask over and over for what I would like and the outcome hasn't been satisfying. I went in today to get my usual gel pedicure and dip manicure. I have always wanted my toes to stay a certain length and be square. What I got today were toes that did NOT match in length and the polish wasn't even down to the end of my nail. In addition to that, my manicure experience was worse. Since I've been coming here I like my nails to stay long and round because they're naturally really strong and great. The woman proceeds to cut off my nails and make them as square as a square could be. When I told her I didn't want them square, she had another woman come over to me and make them even shorter and square again. My nails are so short now that they couldn't be rounded even though I asked for long round nails. I was thoroughly impressed with this nail salon for many months just to be disappointed after being a loyal customer and even bringing other customers to this establishment. I'm sad to say that I won't be going back here anymore. I had my friend call ahead 2 hours prior to them closing asking if they could squeeze four of us in for a pedicure and they said yes, and to come by at 4:45pm so they'll be ready. We roll in around 4:45pm, only to see most of the stations being occupied and being told that we'll have to wait another 15 minutes. All of us are being staggered and I was the last to receive a pedicure, which only lasted maybe 20 minutes. The guy who did my nails only applied one coat and we were quickly pushed to leave. I don't get my nails done often but sometimes I like to do a mani/pedi to make my nails look good especially before going out on a date. So for $60 I pretty much got the royal treatment like it was a spa day. Nails soaked, trimmed, they took hot rocks and massaged my arms and legs, sugar scrubbed, paraffin wax, really it was pretty awesome. My only complaint was I waited 15-20 mins before someone started working on me but the massage chair and the TV made the wait not so bad. They did give me water as well which was nice. As always Jimmy gives me the best gel manicure! He's usually gentle with my nails as he knows my nails easily breaks. I'm an avid nail biter and Jimmy's manicures help me to stop biting my nails. Love Jimmy and Michelle! Found this place on Yelp and have been going for the last 3 months. First time I came with my husband and he had a pedicure. He has very sensitive toes and one of the first things he said was "they didn't hurt me once". Kinda sad that's the only time he hasn't had someone accidentally cut him. Jimmy's hilarious and fun and welcoming. I definitely appreciate that they provide good flip flops for after your pedicure if you forgot yours. Would love to see more colors for dip, although they're very open to suggestions and will find what you're looking for if you just ask. Just had mine done for the first time and I love the application and they feel like I don't have anything on my nails. honestly i feel bad leaving a bad review because everyone that works here is so so so nice but i came here on friday for my friends wedding and got a full set with gel and by sunday one nail had already popped off. the polish itself is also extremely splotchy and doesn't even look nice. and the shaping was.. okay. i went back and got my nail fixed and now two more have come off and two others are noticeably loose. i paid $70 for a full set and a pedicure and it's just a waste of money to have that only last less than a week. i don't live in this state so now i have to go pay for a completely new set somewhere else so that really sucks. i also regularly get acrylics with gel and whenever i have broken nails in the past the actual nail has broken in half.. but from here all of the nails pop off completely. maybe the glue isn't strong enough but i have never had this happen before. read more
