This isn't to say it's a bad place, as quite the opposite, it's a truly safe park. Located right next to the Fairfax City police department, I have a lot of happy memories from here. Taking my kids to this park was fun, and so was sledding on the hills in winter. Some parts of the trail need to be repaired, but otherwise it's in great condition. Kids of all ages will like the skate park, and the basketball hoops. Also the fields are fun for kite or drone flying. This is a rather large park. You can get exercise on the tennis courts, or cook on the grills here. The covered patios with tables, make for a decent birthday celebration spot. Also there's a volleyball area too. If in the area stop on in, and hours are dusk til dawn.

There were two large trampolines. There is a large climbing area with slides, tunnels, ball pit, and swing. A slide I've never seen anywhere (except at Great Country Farms) is that plastic stick material with a tube to go down it. There is a lego area, a kitchen area, and a foam "house" with two slides. There are ride-on toys spread around; my son loved the Paw Patrol police car. Additionally, there was a foam block area with a few other toys for babies. I saw kids ranging from months old to 10-11. There is enough to keep everyone entertained for the two hour slot you receive. I believe it was around $14.95 for age 4 and up (with lower ages costing less) and the first adult is free. The bathrooms were clean on our visit. There are small snacks for purchase as well as drinks. This playground was around 30 minutes away and was not too crowded on Veteran's Day. I would return again and also bring my 7 month old so she could have fun too.-
