He has no self control and has literally yelled at players and kicked soccer balls at them until they cry. He has temper tantrums on the field and pits players against each other. This does not build character or team unity, obviously. Multiple complaints against him have been raised to the BOD, who do nothing. Many, many talented players have left the club. Avoid at all costs - there are many more professional and successful programs in the area (just move to VA...it's not that far away) That said, there are still some good coaches at the club, but - the BOD is biased and the head of the girls program is a crazy man.

My boys and their friends have never complained about the fields or courts, and the referees are generally very good. The price seems right too. I guess I'd rather have them play at a less fancy facility for less money - after all, it's about the game as long as the fields aren't so run down that people are getting injured. It's hard to get someone on the phone most of the time, and they don't update the league standings on their website in a timely manner, but when you do talk to someone in person or on the phone, they are friendly! ***My son finished a soccer league here recently and they never updated the scores online. One team had to reschedule and they put a tie in the score as a place holder. My son's team beat them in the makeup game and the real score was never added. We even called to remind them and they said they would do it. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but my son's team came in second and the results said they were third. The boys worked really hard to hone their skills and had come from many losses in the past so it would have been nice for them to see the results of their work accurately represented.***
