Outside, there is baseball & softball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields (turf) a skate park, & several walking or biking trails. Inside, they have a full-size swimming pool & diving well with both spring boards and platforms, there are racquetball courts, a gym, and studios for all kinds of classes like yoga, as well as a physical therapy office through INOVA. I have been here many times for my son's soccer & swim team practice as well as just coming to play and have fun. Personally, I have been here for yoga classes as well as PT including aquatic PT. You can purchase a class pass or pay a one day fee or you sign up for a wide variety of classes offered year round. On Wednesdays they have a local farmers market out in the parking lot. Entertainment - 5/5 Facilities - 3/5…read more We signed my 4-year old daughter for swim lessons and this place has been great. Their staff is incredibly friendly. It only took my girl 3 lessons to go from being scared in the water to floating in the bathtub. The staff also do a great job giving parents updates and making the kids feel special when they move to the next level. The pool itself is also nice and big - with a large space for the young kids to learn while the older kids have three lanes to do real swimming in. They also offer affordable camps and have a shop with ample swim gear. I also like that parents have the option of sitting at the pool deck to really be up close and personal with their kids. That said, there are things to improve. They really jam a lot of people in there, so social distancing for the kids in COVID is basically impossible (especially those in the swimming lanes). It also often takes 20 minutes or more to get out because so many classes end at the exact same time and there simply isn't enough space to accommodate about 40 people trying to shower and change at once. The locker room in general could use a big upgrade as there are far too few changing stalls and toilets for the amount of people. At a bare minimum, it would be great if they had one or two of those swimsuit driers so we didn't have to cart wet gear home. But again, the main theme is that there is an awesome staff, nice pool, and great lessons. The service can't be beat!.

My daughter (lvl 7) needed coaches who would push her to limits she didn't seem possible, she needed coaches who didn't tell her she is a disappointment (last gym did), and a gym that actually does gymnastics and isn't a beautified, very expensive, after school child care center when parents are paying a car payment monthly and devoting 20+ hrs/week to. I drive 4 hrs round trip, 5x/week for this gymnastics center, so I 100% vouch for them. If you want your child to not only succeed, but succeed on a national level...then come to Capital NTC. This review is based on the Christmas trees that they sell. When I saw a trailer and a nursery of…read moreXmas trees, I beamed. Although there weren't any Douglas Fir trees, there were rows of spruce, fir, and pine trees to choose from. The trees are already cut and look fresh and in good condition. They were shipped from Indiana, PA. The owner Gregory Germane kindly pulled out a bunch of trees for us. With his help, I found the perfect spruce fir tree! He even clipped off some of the branches from the bottom and the top. It was originally 9 feet and with some trimming, he was shortened to 6 feet. We were originally going to pay $90 for the tree, $10 per foot. But with the cutting (there wasn't a smaller tree), Greg charged us $80 + tax. In the spirit of Xmas and his kindness, we just gave him $90. The best part is all the profits go directly to Annandale Boys & Girls Club. It feels so good to support the club. Greg's father started ABCC and I could feel the passion and pride from Greg as he told us about the history and accomplishments of the club. Bring cash! They don't accept credit cards (there's a Capital One ATM right next door). I recommend bringing netting, linens, blanket or something to wrap the tree in. There are no wrapping or shaking services. They also don't sell stands or wreaths. Will be back next year for another beautiful tree and looking forward to seeing Greg! Highly recommend getting a tree here.

GMBL is the premier recreational league for youth baseball and softball for Manassas, Bristow,…read moreManassas Park, and Eastern Prince William County zip codes. They also serve Centreville and Clifton through the Cal Ripken divisions only. The facility is maintained by Manassas City who is slowly making vast improvements/upgrades to the entire complex but the daily upkeep falls to the hard working and dedicated GMBL Board members, coaches and volunteers. The league hosts a Fall, more instructional season, and a competitive Spring season, both at reasonable costs, along with various workshops, clinics for players and camps throughout the year. GMBL provides a draft model to team development in order to equalize ability levels to promote competitive opportunities for all teams at all levels. Your registration covers uniform (typically a shirt, hat), League and Player Insurance, Administrative fees (phone, website, Babe Ruth fees), Equipment (dependent on age group), Umpire fees (division dependent), and City of Manassas fees (user fee, lights, trash pickup, grass cutting, field and grounds maintenance. GMBL offers Blastball through Babe Ruth levels of ball with tournament level play available as well. Everyone gets to play (according to the rules ). A player is not allowed to sit out more than one inning in a game and only two if all the other players have already sat out. Parents can be as involved as they want to be but not required to volunteer as required by other leagues. The GMBL concession stand is the center piece of the facility with a vast and well stocked menu of items at reasonable prices. Our boys started at the TBall level at GMBL and the oldest is now in Babe Ruth. We have seen people temporarily leave GMBL to try other programs, but many return for various reasons. The GMBL Board is well organized, strong, hard-working, communicative and dedicated to our community youth. We are extremely pleased with our experiences at GMBL.

Over a hundred games between them and almost without fail, the parents have all been great: supportive and cheering for their kid & without the nastiness to the other teams or umps I feared as I had heard about in other leagues. The fields are decent, the parking is good, the snack bar is well run, and the league is great at communication. If you're looking for a place to get your kids involved in sports, GMBL softball & baseball is it.
