There was no pressure in getting you to buy anything and they seem to really give you that time and space to look and make a decision. After talking my daughter into a too small pair of cleats, the store refused to let us exchange the cleats for the correct size in a more expensive pair as my daughter had tested the cleats in our yard. I totally recommend this store ...!! They have the new jerseys for most national teams, for more most important teams of almost every league . That alone for soccer fans is so great because you can get the home or away jersey of your favorite team in any size you want which also is very cool if you have friends who love soccer , it's a nice option for gifts . Yes they also have the original names and numbers of the most famous players in the leagues and you can have them print it in your jersey as well. Best place to get gear in the area. They have all of the new inventory; cleats, kits, equipment. And last season's stuff is always on sale. Staffis very friendly and knowledgable. If you go to Dicks or Sports Authority and tell them you're looking for a good defender boot they'll probably suggest the latest Mercurial just because they heard it's good and C.Ronaldo wears it. The guys at Springfield will suggest materials, weights, studs, etc. asking you the right questions to get you exactly what you need. read more

When it comes to soccer gear I haven't found a better store in all of VA. My 7 year old son has fallen in love with the beautiful game and with Messi. This store not only had a size 3 Messi ball (which no one else had) but every conceivable official FC Barcelona Jersey and Argentina jersey in youth sizes. They will also apply players names and numbers to the jerseys for an additional $25 (which is about the norm). Their sneaker collection is the most comprehensive soccer collection I've ever seen in one place. The store is well laid out, organized and clean ( I mention that because I've been to another store where it was like an episode of hoarders). At the end of the day if you are into soccer or your kids are into it then you should come here and buy from a retailer that has a true passion for the game. read more

Staff was very helpful in assisting us find a soccer ball for my daughter who's just starting soccer. She didn't like any of the balls they had on display (very particular to the color choice) and they blew air into other balls that she could choose from. They have lots of cleats to choose from, ranging from kids to adults. Plus, a lot of club gear and national team kits. I'll definitely be back when we need something else for soccer. read more

This is a great store to visit when you need new soccer gear. We never get ours from Dicks or the like, why do that when you can go somewhere that actually cares about the customers? This is a small store next to a billiards bar and Tuesday Morning in a little strip shopping center across from the West springfield police station and WSHS. They are always very helpful and able to answer questions about which gear and brands are the best, how things should fit, etc. I think they are the uniform provider for some of the local youth soccer clubs, but even if they aren't, they're still a great place to go for things such as cleats, gloves, etcs. I saw yesterday that they've got Beckham jerseys in stock in youth sizes, for those of you who do your Xmas shopping early! read more

This store has a good selection. Customer service is decent. However they do not allow returns (even with receipt). They only offer store credit. I personally do not like that policy. If I want my money back on an item I should be able to get it, especially if I have my receipt. I feel that is a fault on their customer service. read more

We've been very disappoint with Springfield Soccer. We have a team of girls waiting for uniforms and they were not delivered on time. Customer Service was poor. And no responsibility was taken for late delivery. No offer to ship late uniforms and found the price mark-up very high compared to wholesale vendors. read more

Terrible customer service. They don't answer the phone (or put you on hold indefinitely if they do) and then refuse to take orders for a standard team uniform over the phone. You have to drive there to get any service at all. My team ordered their uniforms from this store and it is very inconvenient to have to drive there to order a standard uniform; going in person just to watch the clerk enter the data into their system is pretty frustrating in this computer age. read more

I am new to the area and twice now I have been to Springfield Soccer, both times the service has been stellar! The people working are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and all around fantastic. Whether they are crazy busy or slow doesn't seem to matter. The service is always fantastic. I have also made phone calls to the business and they have always answered quickly and been able to understand my needs and be able to answer any question that I asked. For a small store, they have a very good selection of everything. Prices are usual retail but with my daughter's travel soccer club affiliation, we get 10% off regular priced items. Yes, one can buy things online but I have sent many things back doing that as the fit or look wasn't as expected. It is nice to actually go in and try something on to make sure it fits. As stated, the store is small and there is not a lot of room to move around with even just a few customers in the store. The shoe selection is large but the shoe area is small and a little cramped. Dick's probably has close to the same amount of shoe selection but their staff (at least the one nearest to us) isn't very knowledgeable about any specific sport shoe. From my experience, customer service can be hit or miss but all working there are very knowledgeable about soccer and their products. I recommend going and checking it out. read more

I would rate this store 0 stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be treated like dirt.. The store is being run by a bunch of teenagers who know nothing about managing a business and they treat customers as if they don't want them to ever come back...after spending over 30 min in their store I was not approached once to be asked if I needed any help.... after choosing what I needed I paid for a jersey and decided to pay an additional $30 to get the name and number printed on the back...yes I paid a total of $106.... After waiting another 15 min for the print/stamp, I was told by one of the sales associates to keep it on a hanger so that the new fresh print/stamp would not crease....of course, like most people I do not carry hangers with me so I kindly asked if I could have one...I assumed since I just spent over $100 in their store it would be reasonable to ask....the sales associate kindly handed me one....on my way out I was stopped by one of the young non experienced owners and was told in a very unprofessional way that I could not take the hanger... he literally said "Hangers are Money"..... I was literally in shock.... he told me to wait a few minutes for the stamp to dry and handed me a plastic bag....after waiting a few minutes I did not want to risk ruining the shirt so I asked If I could buy the hanger from him...he just stared at me like I was stupid and he said NO.......I have managed many businesses and I am a business owner myself and I would never treat a customer like I was treated today....The main reason I am writing this review is that the stamp did crease after being folded in the bag....Now I have to give a creased shirt as a birthday gift to my nephew!! Thanks a lot Springfield Soccer!! You do not deserve any of my business and hopefully people will realize that you do not deserve to stay in business any longer! read more
