In town for vacation and after a day at the beach, we wanted something quick. Pizza is my favorite and I love trying local places. We used Door Dash and the food arrived quickly. Pizza--crust was great. We ordered New York style. I wouldn't call this that really but it was good. Cheese and toppings were plentiful and tasty. My problem and everyone else's was the sauce. It tasted like spaghetti sauce--like Prego and that threw the whole thing off. It tasted like it was missing some critical spices to take it from one kind of sauce to the other. Garlic Knots--light and fluffy. Needed a bit more coating to be more than just knots though. Dessert Stromboli--got this with raspberry. This was a bit on the overly tough and chewy side. The kids ravaged it and toward the middle it was more what I think was intended and that would be much better but the Ends and most of the Stromboli were a study in jaw exercise to eat. Cinnamon roll minis--so delicious. Overall, pizza is one of those things. It's hardly ever truly bad. Sauce is a highly personal taste thing. I'd say sample them for yourself and get a little cinnamon roll or heck, try the Stromboli. It comes in other flavors and everyone has an off night or I could've gotten a one-off chewy one.
