There was this story i read about some restaurant tucked back and away along a golf course that had some pivotal realm of importance in expressing fearless leadership in full self-expression. Of course I had a mind to check into it. There it was! On the course and situated comfortably adjacent to the miniature golf as well. Grabbing up a putter rental before entering wasn't so far out of my reach. But there he was! The owner himself amidst all the musician's creative support and assisting on-stage levels. This was different and as I approached the bar I was kindly greeted and handed a menu to try. Of course the atmosphere alone was suitable for my business and I got myself a great sampling of their lunch menu presentation with their chicken BBQ delight. My friends and I visited our first time as new parents on a group date night. 6 holes in, the lights went out AN HOUR EARLY on the mini-golf course. When we came in, everyone was gone at the front desk. We decided to ask the bar staff if the kitchen was closed, and a reluctant server said OUT LOUD "so f*cking annoying" when she saw us approaching and was smoking inside the bar area. The staff agreed that the lights were shut off early yet NO ONE apologized - and they blamed other staff for our inconvenience. We were given 2 free drink tokens as a lame apology after 6 of us spent well over $100. The manager watched it all happen. Will not be coming back here again - and we were easy to please. Table of four and had a very disappointing visit. Service was very lacking and it appeared we were more of a burden verses income for our server. Having been in the service industry I get being tired and busy, but it literally seemed our mere presence was a bother even with being more than understanding about drinks being forgotten. The crab tater tots were good but the salads were lackluster. May go back for a drink but would rather have dinner elsewhere where service is more of a priority to customers. read more

What changed? Terrible service-we asked that our entrees be delivered after we finished our appetizers -we had just started eating our wings when someone comes out with our entrees -I asked them to take them back. The wings were not very good, the fries are no longer made fresh, had to ask for plates and napkins with the wings. We have been regulars there but will no longer go for the food-only the music which was great. At the end of the night the server brings a electronic check and asks for a card before I even have the chance to look at the bill-then I clicked paper receipt which she never brought. So disappointed-this used to be a great place to eat and hear music but we will not be back -will only come to get a drink and hear the music. read more

The food & service was very good but when a restaurant charges a delivery charge and we ate and drank in house, that upsets me. I was told it really wasn't a delivery charge but it was for using a credit card. The funny thing was it was on my check before they knew how I was going to pay. Came for the tacos, will be back for the music! We came here on Father's Day with a large group (made a reservation), and we had a lovely time. We ordered tacos, burgers, wraps and cocktails, and wine. Everything came out just right for us. We didn't see much of our waitress, but I liked that, she didn't rush us out or get annoyed when we didn't look at the menu for the first 15 minutes because we were chatting. She made sure we were taken care of but not smothered. We enjoyed the openness to outside without having to be on the patio (especially when the passing summer shower came along). The patio overlooks the golf course--Overlook Golf Course! Yes, indeed. Great place to take the family for a night out, or to take a date before starting said family. I had the Twice Grilled Cheese and Crab & Corn Chowder. I dipped the grilled cheese in the soup and it was delicious! Definitely heavy, but perfect for my hang over Just and FYI...the chowder was spicy. It was perfect for me, but too spicy for my MIL. They did mess up several of our orders, but everything was tasty. Husband didn't have bacon or pickle with the burger, my BIL got sweet potato fries instead of chips (and we were up charged for it), and my MIL didn't get her chips at all. Then the waiter was somewhat agitated when we asked for a side of chips and napkins. Normally we wouldn't have said anything but it took an hour to get our food! We thought they forgot about our order, but we did get the app soups in the beginning so we knew it was in. Not quite sure what happened... I know things are so tight right now with staffing. Showed no enthusiasm and wasn't sympathetic when my order came out wrong. -ordered Caesar salad with vegetables and chicken and no cheese. Came out all wrong, with no dressing. Chicken costed almost as much as my salad ($7). - ordered "chips and guacamole and salsa" for a light appetizer, and received a large plate of cheese filled nachos. Stumbled across this cute outdoor grille by accident. Arrived at 11:50 to be greeted by the hostess who barely looked up and did not smile. "We open at noon". No hello, not a welcome. As a first impression... not a good start. We waited outside as it was a beautiful day. Played some cornhole until they opened at noon. Great outdoor space. Our waitress was great. Food came out quickly. It's bar food. Do not expect anything else. It's fine, but that's about it. The location and the atmosphere is 5 stars. It's really cute and has amazing outdoor seating. The hostess gets 1 star. Our waitress gets 4 stars. The food gets 3 stars. A ton of potential. Just missing some key elements. A fresh locally inspired menu would do this place wonders. Friday, Sept. 17th, It was my birthday dinner (or lack there of,) the hostess was friendly and seated my husband and I at a high top on the patio. At least 30 minutes went by as numerous waitstaff walked by, not a word, a hi, or I'll be right with you...nothing. Patrons were seated after us and served while we waited and waited. I asked a neighboring table what they were drinking and I was excited to try the Coconut Cream Margarita. No one ever came. Finally, it was so disappointing that we walked out....I've never walked out of a restaurant before. It's unfortunate because the band was nice and the atmosphere seemed cool. Service staff needs to get it together. We were seen...they just weren't acknowledging us. read more

Never going back to Stoner Grille restaurant. I made a reservation for 10, they gave my table to the owners friends and told me I never made a reservation. No loss really. Their food is over priced and nothing special. The last time our 10 person party was there it took an hour to get our food and they brought the appetizers and entrees at the same time. Don't eat there unless you don't mind the owners drinking and being drunk as they come up to your table waisted to strike up conversation with you. I feel bad that I used to recommend this place to people. Despite a great location, building and setting there is simply no way I could continue to say good things about this establishment. The Manager didn't even say hello to us as we approached, despite being one of the only people around. Instead they just sat there looking grumpy and complaining to any other staff in earshot... great first impression! Upon sitting our server, had an equally sunny disposition. Simply could not have been less happy to help. When our food finally came out, and we questioned why my wife's tacos looked like a quesadilla, she simply went mute and basically refused to even acknowledge the issue... so strange. The first time we were there, our fish tacos were outstanding and the bartender was very personable, it's gone quickly downhill in every visit since. And so has the food quality. Unless I need a drink while mini-golfing, I see no reason to return. Sad. read more

Never again!! Worst service ever!! We had dinner there Saturday night with another couple. We could not get our waitress to take our drink order ,she finally took our food order but forgot to deliver our drinks and then never showed up to give us our check and we could not get the bartenders help she said I can't help you...WHAT??. We asked for the manager twice and never saw anyone. Paid our bill and we will never come back! I'm legitimately taken aback. The hostess took about 10min to acknowledge my party and as soon as we were seated decide it was a good idea to tell me, an African American woman with a group of friends and family, about her Jamaican chambermaid's complexion. She continued the microaggressions and rant on how she's so jealous that she'll never be as dark as me. Not only was the food half good but to be greeted that way was just unfounded. Looking for a quick bite to eat we stopped by Stoner Grille.... The location of this place is just so nice with a great relaxing vibe, and also the choice to sit out on the patio overlooking the mini golf course. When it came to the waiter he was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. There was 1-2x we were wondering where he went, but overall good service. The food....everything was prepared well and tasted great. The deviled eggs were a special for the holiday, and while sounding weird with bacon, shrimp, and old bay, they tasted really good. I had gotten the club sandwich and it was stuffed with plenty of meat and cheese to fill me up. Overall a nice place to grab a bite to eat and I could see myself coming back again soon! read more

We were looking for a nice sit down restaurant which welcomes dogs and found a fantastic place with the Stoner Grille. They welcomed our dog with her own water and a biscuit bone. Our service continued to be excellent and the food was too! We will be back and highly recommend. read more

First time here, wondering why it took so long? Fantastic venue, awesome music by Corty Bryan band, and overall great place to chill. The staff was amazing, storm was rolling in and they said " you might want to move indoors ". We did, probably, in the end, wouldn't have had to, but was grateful they were looking out for us. We will definitely be back, we actually want to move closer so we can go all the time. Great job to the owner, who can sing and play the harmonica like no one's business, and to Kris, our waitress, who had to find us, and probably others who had to scramble inside. Stoners once was a go to for a bite to eat. The "famous" roco tacos are a sorry representation of a fish taco today. I would rave these are best fish tacos I have eaten. No more! After trying them on two different occasions this summer I am convinced it is more then the chef having an off night. The menu is lacking overall. Hoping for an infusion in the future. read more

Outdoor and indoor seating options (their patio is nice). Masks are required until you sit down, and the waiters wear masks. Our waiter's mask looked well worn and like it is stored in a pocket, surgical masks aren't meant to be worn day after day. Food is tasty! read more

Went for Father's Day. The atmosphere was great, server was awesome. Chicken tenders for kids were over cooked, salads were ok. They were out of a few things on the Father's Day menu. (Cheesesteaks and a Thai something? ). My dad settled for a chicken quesadilla, found zucchini inside as a surprise. Woulda been a nice heads up since it's not something you find often. Male manager came over and his response wasn't pleasant at all. He did offer to remake something else, but he finally came over once's we were ready to leave. Long story short food sucks. I'm very conflicted about how many stars to give this place. I love it for the atmosphere, especially on Saturday nights when there's live music. I will definitely go back, but the service is really bad. I had three different servers, because they kept getting confused about who's table we were. They gave us our food, and left too quickly for us to ask for silverware. We had to hunt down someone at the bar to ask for silverware, and then find somebody who would give us ketchup. The owner was amazing on the harmonica, and the bands are always lovely. It has a really chill atmosphere that is so muchI would definitely recommend this place, but don't come to hungry. The food takes forever to come out on Saturday nights. Update: we have started to just go up and order our drinks at the bar instead of waiting for a waiter/waitress. I was excited to try this new place but I was very disappointed with the total disorganization of the hostess. I called ahead approximately 15 minutes in advance and was told by a woman that the bar was open seating because they had no tables available. When we arrived we informed the gentleman at the host stand that we did not have a reservation but that we were told over the phone that we could sit at the bar. A woman immediately walked up, shooed him away and rudely said, "he's just a bus boy, he doesn't know what he's doing." She then proceeded to ignore us for over 5 minutes while she took phone calls and tried to figure out her schedule book. Eventually, a party of 4 walked in and he told the hostess he had called only 5 minutes ago and said he could sit at the very bar she had told us was open 15 minutes prior. She immediately sat his party while the "bus boy" told us we could only sit outside. In our frustration, we simply left. We made a reservation for 5 on a Friday night. The band that was playing was so ridiculously loud (and not very good) that no one could talk to one another. My Apple watch kept screaming that it was too many decibels!!! Over 85 decibels!!! Hearing loss in an hour!!! You looked around the room while the band was playing and people were either on their phones or staring blankly at a tv or the band. You couldn't socialize! Service was really slow for drinks and the place was pretty empty due to all of the panic of coronavirus. people there were mostly band groupies. I ordered steak tacos and was incredibly disappointed. They decided to be fancy and create a fried cheese shell on the outside of the taco shell that looked cool. It looked cool but then you bit into it and fried crispy cheese bits exploded everywhere. It's embarrassing when people tell you to wipe off fried cheese bits off of your shirt. Such a let down overall and not supremely tasty. I can't say I'll make an effort to return. Give me good service and fairly good food in a nice atmosphere and I'll be your customer for life!!! Loved this place before to listen to bands, but went to hear a good band a few weeks ago. They changed the venue to where they hold weddings....up stairs. It totally lost the charm and the ambiance that is down stairs. I don't care if Van Morrison is playing there, I will not go upstairs. Food was outstanding! Chose this on a whim for Mother's Day and happy we did. We used Open Table for a reservation and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. There was live music, which was a nice surprise, and it wasn't too loud or overwhelming. We were seated directly in front of the stage and still able to hold a conversation. I have never been here before. Took my two kids for the St. Paddy's day festivities. They had originally filled all reservations but kindly welcomed us and set a table by the stage for live music. My kids had a blast interacting with the band. We chose traditional Irish food from the menu which was very good. Our server was awesome and the owner stopped by welcoming us as well. I saw some reviews about poor customer service but we had the opposite experience. I plan to go back to try the regular menu again. read more
