Went and got this for my family today. Everything seemed fine. I get home. Turns out my wife's blue cheese salad is wrong. It's not a waterfall wedge. In the fact it's barely even got blue cheese on it. I get back in the car and drive back over. Show them the receipt. Ask them for what I actually ordered and they tell me oh well we don't have any lettuce heads so we can't make the wedge right now. Which is contradictory because when I called them before I left the house to come back and complain the person I spoke to on the phone said they were able to fix it. Been a long time customer and I just have to say, your new bbq sauce is horrendous. Why change the flavor you're known for? At least keep the original out and ask your customers to sample alternatives. the new sauce isn't even pleasant, it has a weird spicy tobacco type flavor, very off putting for adults AND kids. I came here on Saturday to pick up a curbside order for my mom's 70th birthday. I got a text at about 1030 letting me know that the food was being prepared because they open at 11 which was my pick up time. I was very dissatisfied with my experience. I clicked on the link when I arrived at 11 at parking spot number eight. It took 40 minutes for me to get my order when I saw several people coming in and out through the takeout door. I first called for the status, and Esperanza put me through to Jonah. Jonah said he would check, and he hung up on me. When I got connected with him again, he let me know they were just waiting on the breadsticks. A long time passed after that, and I called and spoke with a girl that transferred me to the Thousand Oaks location. I called back again, and I got transferred to Jr, who was very apologetic and finally brought out my order. I recommend not doing curbside order and just doing the takeout option, so you can stay in there physically waiting for your order. I ordered a whole lemon garlic chicken, half order of the lemon garlic salmon, an order of the tri-tip, an order of the breadsticks, pasta, which was half pesto and half marinara, and a salad. A lot of the food was kind of dry tasting, and I definitely think the StoneFire that I've been to in the Valley is much better. Everything ended up being close to $150 after tip and tax. I've been here a couple times while living here in SCV and you always know what you're gonna get from Stonefire. Consistent food that is never bad but is never really great. Came here for the lunch special and I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza with the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The Pizza was really small but hey, you get what you pay for. The Mashed Potatoes on the other hand were delightful. Definitely want to order those every time that I come here. Service was good too. Hearty bbq food, the side mashed potatoes and mac and cheese hit the spot! Even as a vegetarian, I enjoyed this casual restaurant and so did my toddler! The mashed potatoes are bursting with flavor with garlic, scallions, and herbs. While I'm not the biggest fan of mashed potatoes, I devoured them! The warm creamy mac and cheese was delicious! While the garlic breadsticks were dense and lukewarm and not as good as pictured, I enjoyed them and couldn't resist a lonely breadstick. Before ordering a side of the sticks, check to see if they come with your meal. A couple of them came with ours. Hubby enjoyed the pork ribs and chicken. The Roasted Veggie Stack sandwich was sadly a disappointment and left much to be desired. The cheap white bread was really dense with skimpy veggies - the ratio of bread to toppings/filling was off. Too much bread and not enough veggies. I threw in the towel after a few bites. As I filled up on the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes, they definitely made up for the lackluster sandwich. Had about 11 of us at this place on an early Saturday evening for my daughter's birthday and it went really well. Staff let us bring our own cake and they put it in the refrigerator while we ate. We rearranged tables to accommodate our large group. Usually i feel like this place is packed but this day for whatever reason it wasn't bad and made everything that much nicer. Staff people are always very helpful and attentive to all needs. Ordering was a so easy and food came out so fast. For us, this place is the best bang for your buck when you want to eat out for some nicer food but don't want to spend a ton of extra time waiting for ordering, tipping, and inflated prices. read more

The ranch dressing I bought to bring home was watered down. I use to order the small bbq salad with the dressing on the side. It would be lunch for two days. It was so so small it one only one lunch with watered down dressing. I do understand prices are going up everywhere. So raise your prices instead of thinking we won't notice all the crappy changes. Living in SCV, you have to have eaten at Stonefire at least once. This place is a santa clarita favorite, and for good reason! You order at the counter & it's open seating. They then bring the food to you. The food: bbq sauce: 5/5, I don't think I've ever reviewed just a sauce before, but wow...I normally HATE bbq sauce, but I would drink this sauce if I could. It's not overly sweet, and it has the slightest kick to it. Amazing bbq sauce tri tip: 5/5, always perfectly cooked! The meat is tender, melt in your mouth type. I always recommend the bbq tri-tip bbq pizza: 5/5, better than CPK's! Best bbq pizza I have ever had. The crust is crispy and not too doughy, and of course their bbq sauce is amazing. If you aren't in the "meat & potatoes" mood, order this!! garlic mashed potatoes: 5/5, i will sometimes order pick-up just for this. They have whole pieces of roasted garlic in the mash, which makes all the difference! Best mashed potatoes. With COVID, Stonefire makes it really easy with curbside and inside pickup. Stonefire has been a staple in our family for many years. Recently I was diagnosed with diabetes and found that lemon garlic chicken and the roasted cauliflower didn't spike my glucose. Sadly, after having an incredible meal there a few months ago, the last 3 take out orders have been tremendously disappointing. Overcooked chicken. Inconsistent portion sizes (where we order 2 boneless breasts and one is 1/2 the size of the other). Tiny cauliflower (like 1/2 the size of when we eat there). On Christmas Eve we waited nearly one hour past our food pickup time only to be told the wait had been for cauliflower they were now unable to provide. Quality control is essential in keeping customers happy and coming back for their favorites. Sadly we are just about ready to look for alternatives as it appears we can't count on them anymore. read more
