This place is affordable and the food is great. I've been here a few times and I'm always greeted with a smile. The tri tip is really good and tender, and the mashed potatoes are on point. If you like salads the bbq chopped salad with chicken is really, just make sure to ask for extra salad dressing because they skimp out on it if you don't ask. We came in to dine a few days ago and had a great experience! The food was great. We had Serena who brought our food and she was so helpful!! We forgot to grab extra barbecue sauce and napkins and she gladly went and brought them to us. She also checked in multiple times with us to see how everything was and if we needed anything else. Place looked promising but they forgot about my order and brought me a different meal to my table. When I corrected them they said staff was confused and told waitress to bring me the wrong plate. 30 mins later they forgot about my burger and when I brought it to their attention staff was dismissive and said burgers cook slowly. When I finally got my burger it was burnt and tasted of the residual of the grill top. I told them this and they only offered to refund me the burger and no other apology or accommodation for the long wait or burnt burger. They do however ask for tip when you place the order. This review is to praise two amazing individuals. My wife and I picked up food curbside on Mother's Day and they were packed but we were immediately tended to by Maureen and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we ordered and was the most sweetest and kind lady. By far the best service we have had to date at Stonefire. We then talked to the manager on Duty Erika and she was also so lovely and listened everything we had to say about Maureen and our overall experience that night. read more

My kid ordered a burger with cheese, nothing else. It arrives with grilled onions. I tried my best to scrape them off. He tries to eats some of the burger but gives up. Hi, I deliver from your business a few times a week. It's incredibly frustrating sitting there while you guys go over the order with each delivery driver and then put 3 stickers on each bag. Respectfully, this practice serves no practical purpose outside of costing me and other drivers time and money. If you double check the bag and seal it before the driver gets there the result is the same, your cashiers have more time to serve other customers, and everything runs more smoothly. It adds close to 5 minutes of time relatively often when multiple drivers come at the same time. That 5 minutes effectively pulls $3 directly out of my pocket. I will gladly change this to a 5 star review when you change this procedure, or at the least start putting a single sticker. Thanks! read more

I've never had issues with stonefire previously. I asked for the chopped salad with chicken on the side and breadsticks. Picked up order and chicken was on salad, told them my sister is vegetarian. They offered me tongs to pick it off vs. wait. It's fine I'll remove the chicken. But the biggest letdown was warming up the breadsticks for my kids bday and they were just dry bread. No garlic, no butter, no parm. I had to pause the b-day and toss in butter and garlic powder. I've always felt ordering stonefire is to have great food without the work. So disappointed. read more

This place sucks. Ordered Mega-feast for takeout. Tri-tip was tasteless and overcooked. Ordered a BBQ chicken and Lemon Garlic chicken. Got two equally tasteless, somewhat dry, chickens. Salad was ok, but the baked beans are tasteless, vaguely spicy beans. Breadsticks are mostly tasteless and rubbery. They do provide a massive quantity of tasteless mac n cheese, which to be fair was the best non-salad item by a mile, mostly because it was edible and filling. Overall, the mega-feast is a largish amount of tasteless, poorly cooked food (mostly from the sides). A typical $6 rotisserie chicken at Costco is a massive upgrade, as is their pre-cooked tri-tip and many options for sides. Spend $50-$60 and get much better food from there, or basically anywhere. Seriously, the meat at Del Taco tastes better. Pick something else. read more

I have been ordering food and eating at Stonefire for years. Many family or business meals were provided by Stonefire and I sometimes met friends there for a meal - usually a salad or a shared pizza. Due to physical limitations we ordered and someone picked up food for 3 on Saturday. I ordered a "pulled pork" sandwich and salad with a pickle. I was shocked when my sandwich turned out to be at least half some kind of potato salad with a quarter inch of pork and 4 pickle chips! I would not call that a pulled pork sandwich! As I have never ordered a sandwich from Stonefire maybe this is the usual, but I would certainly not return there if I hadn't been before. A pork sandwich should be mostly pork... I have 3 stars for general satisfaction but for this order it would be one. read more

Went there yesterday and was filling my class with Ice tea from machine. Unfortunately, I accidentally had a direct view to the Kitchen area and the grill. Disgusting..!!!!! I was absolutely shocked what I saw when I took a look at the grill and the appliances in the kitchen...!! Complete filth, and very unsanitary conditions. I couldn't believe what I saw at first. I thought they were filming a episode of bar rescue or something. I looked around for a manager because I couldn't believe this place was under any kind of supervision. There was a buildup of blackened crust and carbon all over the grill/griddle, and spillage of barbecue sauce and other food items stained all over the counters, including dried barbecue sauce stained all over the BBQ sauce container. I am not trying to exaggerate or have no motive to write this review other than to express my complete shock and discussed what I saw in the kitchen. Also, I sat in the area that appeared to be close to the employee entrance and exit door to the back Kitchen area. I say this because there's many employees sitting next to us just hanging out and using their phone 's whole time, and just seemed very relaxed. I understand it could be where the employees take their breaks and all, but it seemed very unprofessional and unsupervised. I have been eating at this Stonefire for as long as I could remember, after what I saw, I feel I need to take a Hepatitis C test, call Bar Rescue, and I will never eat there again. read more

"Stonefire Grill Ruins Pizza Night." (That's the headline if Yelp reviews had headlines.) We've been on a search for excellent pizza here in the Santa Clarita Valley...slowly making our way (one Sunday's pizza night at a time) through every places that serves and delivers to us. We've already resolved that we're not going to get good NYC style pizza up here so we're hoping to at least have something we don't mind eating and calling "pizza." It's a low bar really...but Stonefire didn't reach that bar for us. We ordered just a traditional cheese pizza. I mean if you're having pizza for the first time at a place, might as well start basic to get a good baseline. The pie we were brought was overcooked...way more than just the pleasing brown spots to let you know they went beyond just melting the cheese...but seriously overcooked...the cheese no-longer moist at all...the crust with no chew left in it...and the sauce...I mean the pizza looked like it might have had sauce on it but, as is the tendency of some pizza places, there just wasn't enough on it to provide any actual sauce taste. This was especially disappointing as, when you order online, they give you the option of selecting light size...We didn't select that and get basically no-sauce. Most of the time when we get pizza that isn't fantastic, it kind of reaches a "well that was okay" level...not so here...We would not order pizza from here again. Super-disappointing. When we had half a pizza left, that would typically go in the fridge for a couple of easy lunches. (Cold pizza, it's a thing, look it up.) This salad is so freaking good, I ate half of it before I remembered to take a picture! I substitute pepitas for the tortilla strips and ask for no cheese or dressing to keep it vegan. There is so much flavor on this salad, you truly don't need the dressing. I've added lemon and olive oil on it, and that adds a nice touch if you're in the mood. There aren't a lot of vegan or gluten free options on this menu, but this one is truly a gem if you have dietary restrictions. I will say that they do go out of their way to find options for you if you don't see anything on the menu that fits your needs. read more

A friend chose this place and I read the reviews and really tried to sway them to go somewhere else but they really wanted to come here. I expected it to be horrible, so was surprised when it wasn't! I'm not saying it was great, but it was sort of moderately priced and decent, which was okay given the circumstances (of me having no control over where we ate). I asked the person at the register what he recommended and he said DEFINITELY a salad. He really steered me away from everything else on the menu, so I took that as a sign and followed his guidance. I got the BBQ Chopped with tri tip and chili lime dressing (instead of ranch) and it was pretty tasty. They also had Kendall Jackson Chardonnay for $7 a glass which was a shockingly awesome deal. Tasted my friends' breadsticks which looked great but turned out to be terrible. Dry and weirdly chewy. They have tons of heat lamps outside. Sadly, none of them work. The staff (mostly high schoolers, I think) was trying hard to get them going but no success. So maybe not a great place to come if you want to sit outside. read more
