We're usuals at the Chubby chain and Cid was a great server! Pro tip: Get the Argentenian red shrimp

I pretty much outgrew AYCE when I tried Barkjeong, but Chubby Cattle is probably the only place I'd do AYCE. Their quality and price is unmatched. You could tell from the interior or the place that they take their reputation seriously. My server, Rhenar, was awesome and so informative! Definitely the best AYCE in the game.

We were here a couple months ago, and tonight we are back to celebrate my hubby's birthday...and yes, I'm happy happy to say service is 100% on point, super nice and helpful. I also learned tonight, just in case if you were wondering...On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays it is only Walk-In no reservations...wait time varies, but Mon thru Thursday you can make reservations and also do walk-in's. We still love the choices from the digital menu, and totally enjoyed the birthday jingle surprise!! OH! I love love their Earl Grey roll cake!! I had 2 slices!! (Gasp)! It's totally fun inside! I love the interior designs.

Delicious food and stellar service! Absolutely worth the wait and the price. This was my first time dining at Chubby Cattle, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. There's a variety of meat to choose from, from rich and savory wagyu to thinner briskets. All meat is very high quality cuts, taste amazing even without sauce. The sushi was just OK to me. Some of the rice was undercooked and so randomly crunchy in some parts, and the taste of the fish was just acceptable. The hand rolls were pretty good, though. Love the assortment of sides and appetizers to choose from, and the self service drinks, salads, desserts, and sides. There's even dim sum! And the slushies are so good. I actually didn't like the milk tea much, too creamy and sweet for me, but YMMV. There's just so much to eat and drink here, and the portions are just right. Loved the ambiance and the service. The only drawback was the wait time (quite long on a weekend for lunch) and the fact that it got super smoky in the area we sat. Even the restrooms were noticeably smoky. However, our table and others in the area were moved to a section with significantly better ventilation. It seems like ventilation could be a recurring issue here, but they also seem to be aware of it and can shift your table somewhere better if it gets too smoky. Overall, highly recommend this place!

Chubby Cattle in Woodland Hills, located inside the Westfield Topanga Mall, is a super fun and elevated Korean BBQ-style experience featuring Japanese wagyu. It's easy to get to, on the bottom floor, next to Target. It gets super busy, so make sure to go super early to put your name down. Oh! And make sure you come hungry. The atmosphere is modern, lively, and upscale compared to your typical KBBQ. You're given a set dining time, and there's also a 7-minute window in which you can place each order, which can feel a little stressful at first since you're trying to decide, order, cook, and eat all at once. I took a few pictures but we probably had 30 more plates and with the time constraints, it was hard! We went with the Silver Tier, and it was amazing. The quality of the meat was excellent, especially the Japanese wagyu, which was rich, tender, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered tasted high quality and well worth it. There's also a walk-up area where you can grab extras like fresh vegetables, curry, soup, corn/sweet potato with cheese, desserts, and even a wagyu hamburger, which we heard was delicious. The milk teas were also really good and a nice pairing with the meal. The experience can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but our server Tyler was incredible. He helped us put in our first order, gave great recommendations, and made sure we understood how everything worked. His attentiveness really made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Chubby Cattle is a unique, high-quality wagyu BBQ experience that's definitely worth trying. Just be ready for a fast-paced start - and if you get Tyler, you're in great hands! We'll definitely be back! **Tip** Sign up for their yearly membership. The initial cost and what you save pays for itself.

Chubby Cattle is beautifully decorated, well serviced, and has delicious food. I probably won't go again. The good - all the food was fresh with plenty of variety. Buffet options were great too. There a rice machine that serves exactly the amount of rice you want, like R2D2 scooping your portion. I really liked the wagu stew and all the meats. I would skip the sushi. The bad - the dining experience, while fun, was not relaxing at all. There is a timer that counts down like a game show, ticking time bomb. When the timer finishes, you order your limited number of dishes and the timer stars again. It feels like a game show to maximize your orders rather than tasting a variety of beautifully aged fatty meats. The restaurant itself is clean but very congested. I would recommend checking it out, but I'll be making return trips to the chubby cattle in Vegas

Shout out to Anthony A. for being the best server ever! We have been to the Monterey Park location but Anthony's customer service is what makes Topanga location shine! He is so friendly and courteous, he made our experience a smooth and great one. The wagyu meats did melt in our mouth and we kept the nigiri orders coming! My personal fave was the seared salmon nigiri. The vibes were very fast paced and all the sides as well as dessert were there for you to choose from. You do only have 90 minutes to dine but I think that's a perfect time frame-- we were stuffed! Chubby Cattle is definitely a must try!

Had an amazing time here with my cousins: CID helped us a lot and cooked our premium meats. The food tasted delicious and the service was great. The place has a casual ambiance that is good for family and friends. They have three tiers of AYCE and I always get the gold tier because I feel like it has great value. Their salt is very unique and pairs well with the meat. We loves the thin-sliced beef tongue, A5 Brisket, and miso beef. We waited about 25-30 minutes on a Friday evening. This location is in the mall across from Target. They also have a bar where you can get milk tea, desserts, kimchi, fruits, and condiments, among other things.

We waited about 50 minutes for a table at 6:30pm on a Tuesday, which is wild (but accurate according to the original quoted wait time). By this time, some of the things I really wanted to try (beef tongue, wagyu enoki, fruity wagyu, fried tofu, chicken karaage etc) were sold out. The rest of the wagyu cuts were good, but the thin cuts were harder to cook as they easily stick to the grill. I can see the appeal of this location relative to others: the beverage bar, "dim sum", salad bar, curry/miso dispenser, grab and go wagyu burgers/egg tarts, and dessert station are unique, though the stations can get messy, and takes a bit of time to be refilled. mini milk tea dispenser for people that are waiting is cool and generous. Unfortunately, the novelty makes for lack of quality. We tried almost everything on the Silver Tier ($58), all of which were underwhelming except for - Durian sweet potato: can actually taste the durian! Goes delightfully well with the melted cheese - Egg Tart: flaky and does the job - earl gray roll: soft, fluffy, not overly sweet - carpaccio: not fishy, decent sized cuts. Baked salmon had more rice than i'd like tho. - takoyaki: crispy outside, sizeable octopus inside. Worth a try - jasmine/samurai (pandan like flavor) MT Don't recommend: - the "dim sum" if you're expecting anything authentic as the shu mai is filled with rice, and the dumpling with a weird shrimp paste. The har gow-like one was probably the better tasting one to try. - tom yum soup: it's like tart water, though the mussels and shrimp weren't bad - miso soup: no tofu/seaweed - chicken cartilage: too hard to chew - curry: lukewarm, flavor lacking. Tender meat tho Service: The hostess who took us in pointed us out to the different stations, which was nice, but I think she got distracted because once we sat at the table, she started talking to a coworker and quickly left... we didn't know what to wait for lol. We kinda awkwardly sat for a few minutes until Anthony came by who was great! He explained things clearly and was quick to offer grill changes. Parking: go through the owensmouth entrance for the mall! Plenty of spots Ultimately, I prefer the SGV locations. Prob won't be back for awhile

Why Chubby Cattle? - Quality meat and a good amount of apps, cold dishes, desserts, drinks, soups, and hot dishes - Servers can help you cook - Fast touchscreen ordering system Why Not Chubby? - The time limit makes it difficult to eat and enjoy your experience especially as a group. By the time you understand the ordering system, cook your food and explore the salad bar area its up. - Top tier A5 meats are limited based on the package you get - They keep pushing their membership Would I come back? Maybe but it gets pricey per person Service 4/5 Good service from our server and the host/front desk area Ambience 4/5 Fairly clean despite the rush of people and amount of food/drink at the bar areas Food 4/5 My friend said it best "It's like an upscale Gyu-kaku" hahaha

First time doing AYCE Wagyu here. We got the Chubby Cattle Plus membership (Gold tier) and let's just say--it's 100% worth it for the quality and how much you can actually eat. You're not limited at all and everything feels premium. I really liked the self-service setup too. Being able to grab your own milk teas, desserts, and slushies whenever you want just makes the whole experience better--and everything actually tasted good, not just filler. If you like sushi, you have to try the Wagyu nigiri. So good. Honestly all of their nigiri hit--no complaints there. Also, Cid was our server and he was amazing. Helped us cook the Wagyu at the start so we didn't mess it up, which we needed lol. Super attentive, really nice, and just on top of everything the whole time. Easy five stars for him. Overall, really good food, really good service, and just a fun experience. Definitely worth it and I'd come back.

The service was on the slow side. Food was not my favorite. Thinking back I may just not be that much into meat. I think the burger was okay but ditch the American cheese, buns were not the best. My favorite part was the onions because I just love onions. The place is clean which is a huge bonus. Got some Portuguese style desert but was maybe not cooked all the way. The rice was really sticky and as a Persian it's just not the type of rice I'm used to so not sure I'd go for it again. Beef was very tender yet too salty. Well done but too salty. Gravy was also abundant. Some more veggies maybe? Ambience seems too casual but it's not a very cheap place. Maybe I'm being too harsh. Just make sure you really like meat.

Chubby Cattle at Topanga Mall is a really fun and different take on AYCE Korean BBQ/hot pot. The vibe is modern and high-energy with lots of tech touches, this location the food is delivered by actual servers (not robots like some people expect from other locations). They have three tiers of wagyu you can choose from, including higher-end options, and honestly the meat is the star here. The wagyu is sooo good super tender and melts in your mouth. Definitely worth it if you're going for the meat quality. The sliders were really good and juicy, and the rice station is super cool you just put your bowl down, press a button, and it automatically fills your bowl with rice. I wasn't really into the sushi though. I've had way better elsewhere, so I wouldn't come here for that. But for wagyu and the overall experience, it's a good time. Overall, fun spot, good energy, and I'd come back mainly for the wagyu. Does get busy..but you also eat fast lol

Every aspect from the dark walls and wooden bar, down to the music and bathroom is well thought out. You can tell they truly value their space and the customers that support the restaurant. Don't get me started on the food ~ We tried the Bincho Egg Black Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth was silky and creamy, not oily or heavy at all. The black garlic added a very interesting earthy and almost scorched taste to it. The egg was sweet, and I've never had a sweet ramen egg before but it went well with the rest of the umami flavors in the dish. The green onions and wood ear mushrooms had a fresh crunch to them and there was enough to get a good amount in every bite. The charsiu was tender + savory sweet, kinda tasted like cheese to me but that's also a positive lol! The noodles were slightly chewy and the portion was just right for the amount of broth you get. Moon Sushi has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and it was great to see the owner present and serving customers alongside the servers and chefs. We ordered a variety of dishes, and while some of the fish selections may sound ordinary, the flavors were anything but. Every bite left us impressed. Their specialty rolls were unique, and nothing we tried had an overpowering flavor. Each dish had its own special touch and was balanced beautifully. We tried salmon, yellowtail, tuna, albacore, toro, and even wagyu beef sushi-style, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. From the outside, you might wonder how a place this simple could be so good, but from the first bite to the last, you'll be pleasantly surprised throughout the entire meal. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. It is a bit pricey, but honestly, what isn't in 2026? In Moon Sushi's case, you're paying for quality, freshness, and a memorable dining experience.

This may be one of the best meals I've had in all of the valley. I tried the Tapsilog bowl which had a perfectly cooked egg, savory Garlic rice and a great helping of marinated Angus beef. I'd love to know what they use for the Beef Marinade because it was out of this world. A flavor explosion the likes of which I have never tasted. One bite and I started devouring the bowl and had to force myself to slow down and chew. I also tried their Pork bun which was delicious. A perfectly made bun with delicious cooked Pork belly and an excellent pairing of sauces and toppings. I've had pork buns from other places and the bun has always ended up being too sweet and ruined the flavors for me, this was NOT the case. This Pork bun was in a word, Delectable. The staff was very friendly and poliete. My one issue is the price is on the higher side but with as good as everything tasted I'm willing to splurge to give my mouth a taste of Nirvana.

We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5
