We've ordered a vegan pizza, and a marghetita. The latter's pretty default, right? Hmm, not white. As you can see on the photo, first we got a soup of goop. I asked for a less soggy pizza, and the second one was half the juice, but still wet as a dog in irish rain. My partner was hangry, so we didn't ask for another replacement, but this is defo not the experience I was hoping for. We also asked for a slice of chocolate cake... somehow it was delayed so in the and we rather chose to leave. +1 star for a kind waitress, but seriously, not bwing able to make a marghetita is pretty lame...

Amazing pizza. One of the best pizzas I've had ever. Not a fan of vegan cheese so happy to see a lot of options with just tomato sauce and toppings. The crust is probably my favorite part of the pizza, thin and crispy, not greasy, and not dry either. 10 euros for a decent sized, filling but not heavy at all pizza is a good deal. Will def come back again.

Pizza and a beer for a tenner? We couldn't not go in. For such a cheap price we weren't expecting much. We were wrong. This pizza is good. Aperitivo is tiny and you will most likely rub shoulders with the person next to you. But the decor is great and the excellent and somewhat fancy pizzas distract you from the fact that everyone can hear what you got up to that week. Friendly staff and homemade desserts nicely topped off an unexpected experience.

I walk by this place on the way to work every day, and it was the promise of an 'Italian breakfast roll' that finally reeled me in. I had clocked it written on the chalkboard outside earlier in the week and made a mental note to come back for one. I called in on a Saturday, and even though it was off the menu that day the lovely owner obviously saw the need in my hungover face and kindly whipped one up for me anyway. After a slab of their homemade Nutella Cheescake I was feeling ready to face the world again. The nice gesture made me go back again to sample the pizza, which is definitely among the best I've had in the city, and they serve it by the pan and the slice. Everything here is made from scratch - the bread, the pizza, the desserts and its all reasonably priced, very tasty stuff, and a bit different ingredients wise from the usual Italian fare. The place is snug, but thats part of its charm. A great option for a no-nonsense lunch or casual few beers and pizza after work.

Four cheese with added mushrooms. Truly amazing!

This was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I ordered the four cheese and added mushrooms. I believe the total was €10.75. It was the GREATEST thing. The combination of cheeses was perfect, and I normally eat so much but still couldn't finish it. Death by cheese, certainly. Go here!

Omg!!! Such delicious vegan pizza, try the rustic vegan you won't be disappointed. The cake was also delicious (and vegan). We came here multiple times during our stay in Dublin because it was that good.

Appreciated this sign :)

Great vegan pizza! We were especially impressed by the pesto specialty pizza. The crust was BEAUTIFUL. The space itself is a biiit cramped, but if you're looking for vegan deliciousness... Definitely a worthy spot. If any pizza will do... It's a contender, but not the most spacious one and not the one with the widest wine list.

Amazing! Pizza Gorgonzola and Mushroom and "super bitter" Balafin Beer was perfect a dinner!

Really small place, not suitable for groups, perfect if you are 2 or 3 max. The pizza is really good and fresh, the Italian craft beer I tried was good too! I haven't tried the sandwiches and cakes yet.

Had passed by here a few times since they opened and finally popped in yesterday to see what it was like! The place itself is pretty tiny, just enough space for 3/4 tables. The menu is consists of pizza, paninis and a couple of desserts (including 'Dublin 's best homemade tiramisu'! - on my list for next time!). We ordered the Meat Feast and Spicy Salami. They were both pretty good! The Spicy Salami is, unlike most other pizza joints in Ireland, quite spicy! The staff are very friendly and were anxious for feedback on the food- a good sign! I'll be back for more pizza soon.

I was really looking forward to going here. Got the pepperoni Pizza there tonight. In hindsight, I would have been better going to Apache pizza. The pizza I got was completely soggy and the sauce was almost watery which in turn made the cheese and toppings fall off the pizza. I had it to take away and when I got back to the house(3min walk away) the pizza had fallen apart. Perhaps this was a one off and they undercooked the pizza but it was highly disappointing.

During our research before we left we saw a video talking about Bunsen. Just seeing the high quality of the ingredients made it one of our must try stops in Dublin. As we do when traveling, we start and end the day eating throughout the day. We popped into Bunsen to finally try the legendary burger around 4:30 pm. Because we were there at such an odd hour, we were the only people there. When you visit Ireland, the pub culture is real and most pubs start to get quite busy around 5:30 pm. Since Bunsen isn't a pub and wasn't located in a particularly touristy area , it didn't surprise me they were empty at that time of day. What stuck out the most at first was the super friendly service right from the door. We were sat at a small banquet of tables against the wall and checked out the menu from QR code link on the table. We were there for their original burger so that is what we ordered. No sides and water to drink. I couldn't be filling up too much yet. It was pretty early after all and we had a lot of places to stop yet. The menu isn't huge. They focus on doing one thing well and keep it at that. I like a restaurant that doesn't try to be everything. Our burger came out within 10 min and it was juicy, hot and fresh. Presented beautifully wrapped. We shared this one burger because, we knew we had lots of food to eat later. Immediately after eating the last bite I wanted to order another. It was really that good. Such perfection! This will be the burger I compare all others in Ireland to.

They have a good selection of Mediterranean cuisine (shish kabobs, falafels). I've eaten there most at the end of the night of hanging out at different pubs and their food really hit the spot. I remember their beef shish or falafel meals. Their meat and falafel balls seem fresh and their stuff includes fresh veggies. They turn their orders around very quickly at late night, either for dine-in or take-away. They have plenty of dine-in seating. Zaytoon and its staff were very helpful at the late night rush, I'm assuming they're just as good during the day.

I tried the Beef Kebab, the Koobideh (spiced ground lamb and beef), and the Falafel (herbaceous chickpea fritters). The kebabs were juicy and flavorful, but the falafels were too soft, wet, and crumbly for my liking. The family-style menu also came with hummus, tzatziki, a spicy chili sauce, salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, red onion, pickled red cabbage), and freshly-baked rounds of taftoon flatbread. Overall, everything we tried was flavorful, healthy, and came at a reasonable price for the quality of food!
