Avoid. I advise you to eat anywhere else. The pizza had canned vegetables on it. The seafood app was AWFUL - tiny, most likely previously frozen shrimp and the piece of fish was bland. It was $40. For half the price I can get better quality in Mass or NH, even when landlocked. Extremely disappointed with this dish. My $9 glass of prosecco was a teeny tiny pour. Our server was incompetent. She rang up the wrong things in our check and was MIA for most of the meal. Someone else brought us our food, took our drink refill orders, and corrected the check.

We recently went and had breakfast here and the service was excellent. The food was plentiful and super tasty! We also get pizza quite regurally and I LOVE the greek stonecutter pizza. So much flavor! My husband always enjoys a loaded steak and cheese sub. Definitely worth going to when in Stonington!

If you're thirsty try the Gin Delish or the Pirate Punch.

Our go to place! Great family and friends vibe. It serves as the local gathering place, year round. A great way to meet new friends and catch up with the old ones. Good variety of food options. My favorites are the Antipasto Salad with maple balsamic dressing (made in-house) and the meat and potatoes pizza. My husband does not like to miss prime rib night. Thursday cribbage tournaments have made a wonderful addition to the social calendar. Full disclosure, my sister owns the place, we love support her business. She employs so many people year-round and it's just generally fun and easy to let ourselves off the hook for making meals a free times a week (maybe more)

The whole atmosphere felt rushed, tense, and honestly rude at times. We had a reservation for 4, but were seated at two separate tables with a support pole between us, making it hard to even talk to each other. A few minutes after we sat down, three actual 4-top tables opened up, so we politely asked if we could move before we had even ordered. That simple request was met with way more hostility than it should have been. They did move us, but I then overheard an older woman on staff complaining to her coworkers about the fact that we had asked. Meanwhile, over an hour later, there were still open 4-top tables, so the attitude over such a reasonable request made even less sense. What made it especially disappointing is that this was my son's birthday dinner, and the vibe was so uncomfortable that I honestly felt like I couldn't even mention it or ask them to celebrate him because we already felt like a burden just for asking to sit together as a family. The service was also painfully slow. It took about 25 minutes for someone to even take our drink order, another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and after being there for an hour we still had no food. Our waters were never refilled either. Basic things like checking in on the table or refilling water shouldn't be a stretch, especially when customers are already waiting that long. When the food finally came, my wife ordered the mushroom ravioli and it just wasn't very good. I mentioned it, and there was no apology, no concern, and no offer to take it off the bill or make it right. It was just met with indifference, which pretty much summed up the whole experience. To make things worse, we could repeatedly hear staff talking badly about other customers. That alone creates a terrible atmosphere, because if they're comfortable doing that within earshot of diners, you can't help but assume they're doing the same thing about you. The frustrating part is that the food looked promising, and we came in wanting to have a nice family dinner. Instead, we spent the night feeling uncomfortable, ignored, and like we were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. For what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner, it was a huge letdown.

It was 3:30 so we shopped around again and then got in line 15 minutes early. We were second, everyone formed a line. We thought it must have a reputation if people are waiting for the doors to open What a good call. They have lots of choices besides pizza, salads, drinks and a fun, clean dinning place with a jute box. Not sure if it was really playing music but it was good music. A lot of Italian dishes they serve but we really wanted to try their pizza. We had a cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. Wow! Thin crust at its best. Very tasty and satisfying! Yup I see why people wait in line for doors to open . It's a must when visiting Bar Harbor. The first day we got here my daughter saw it and wanted to go. I said let's try a different place instead of pizza. So glad we came on our last day. It was one of the best pizza I've had and will remember! Prices are so reasonable, restaurant is very clean. You order, pay, get a buzzer, and you wait at a table or booth and they bring food to you. It's great you are not waiting to pay so you can leave when done. Just note the bathrooms in back and you go up a ramp and a few steps. I will be back when in Bar Harbor.

Whip out the trusty Yelp app and we are on our way to this wonderful little gem! I have found this app to be a great tool for finding local gems like this. We arrive and it's a bit under construction from the looks of it. This is a family business in the truest sense. They do all of the work themselves, at least when I was here. He is adding on to the place and creating more seating. He manned the oven and she waited on the tables and I feel like there were some of their children working in the back as well. There are a few other families there with us. One other from our campsite that I noticed when were arriving. I love the fact that the stones for the oven came from the ground right out front of the place while they were digging it up to build the patio. How cool is that?!?!? He told me all about it when I asked if he had built it himself. He hired a mason locally he said. Ok. Pizza hits the table. Wow. I could list 42 adjectives describing how good it was, but you just need to go see for yourself!! Perfect crust though!! Perfect! Do that as fast as you can! Come here by plane, train, auto, snowmobile, tank. Whatever. I even heated up the leftovers on a stone by the fire at the tent. Stupid good leftover too!!! Thank you to the Stones for a great meal and wonderful hospitality!! '26 - 25
