The sauce looked like chocolate or BBQ sauce in color and had a tomato-ketchup taste to it. I like exotic cuisine and flavors like citrus but this dish had bitter orange peel rinds in it that killed the flavor even more. Far from and a BIG step down for chinese-american cuisine. Will not be returning.

We ate past the point of comfort and savored every bite. Our waiter was exceptional. He was able and willing to educate us about each dish, and after the meal shared stories of his immigration and work experiences. I woke to family calling to compliment the meal and the gathering. We highly recommend Ming's of Hatboro.

So much has changed. The prices have increased considerably- by as much as $3 an item. The boneless ribs were loaded with fat. I would honestly say that one rib was made up of more than 50% fat. The combo plates now come with just an ice cream scoop-size of rice, even plain white rice. The meals are about two small palmfuls. I remember when the plate was covered with food. What did I learn from my recent dining experience at Ming's? The food is subpar, the amount is smaller and the prices are higher. If you like Chinese/Asian food as much as I do, skip Ming's.

We ordered general tso's chicken, pepper steak, kung pao chicken, chicken lo mein, pork friend rice, egg rolls and wonton soup. Everything was fantastic! Generous portions meant plenty for leftovers. The service was standard and matter of fact, like many Chinese takeout places. Ordering over the phone is simple - call, place order, be assigned a number to provide at pickup. It's a good system. The prices are a bit higher than others, but it's worth it!

Like dimsum and general tso chicken... they didn't give us soup spoon for dimsum but kinda late to ask for it and some dimsum was already tore in the bottom so soup was leaking through...which defeat the purpose of soup dumpling. Robot serving machine was serving food but the waiting staff put it on table for us. So i don't really know the purpose for the robot but it was fun. It's not a bad thing but it's really not Dim Sum. The menu is large with many great sounding dishes. They had Peking Duck that you don't see on many menus and it was delicious. I usually get multiple lunch specials and we've been quite happy with the price and quality. When you buy multiple items you get a discount, making the price even better. Each time I ordered the food was made quickly and without error. Its mostly your standard Chinese take out options, and the quality is as good as or better than similar places in the area. The amount of amount of food to price ratio is very good, especially during lunch time. You can feed a family or group of people for a very reasonable price, and likely have leftovers. We will definitely keep Wok n Roll in our regular rotation.
