I did not have much of a choice as they are through Home Depot. I would not recommend them. The install people are polite, nice and knowledgeable. The vanity countertop installed fine. However, they damaged the wall (no answer or solution when asked about repair), sawdust was everywhere inside and outside the cabinetry and fingers prints are all over the cabinetry. They did not offer to clean it up until I ask for a shop vac and still they did not clean the cabinets. Everything is this bathroom is brand new and freshly painted. When they reached out to find how the install went, I explained the above with pictures. There response was only via text (cowards) no proper phone call to address anything. The answer was completely unacceptable in their work ethic, trying to say this happens it does happen but you take responsibility for it and address it. They lack professionalism, taking responsibility for mistakes and terriblly messy.

They think that looks like suitable work

Should have checked these awful reviews before allowing my deck contractor to use Stone Systems. Zero accountability which I've noticed is the theme between all sub par companies. Installed our Dekton countertops unevenly which caused the weight of the grill to chip BOTH corners of the counter tops!! Zero accountability until we badgered them for months. They finally agreed to do a Dekton repair kit instead of replacing it, and now it looks MUCH WORSE. Again zero accoutability. Gus seems like a nice guy, but he knows they messed up and either lies about it or dodges. Buyer -

No silicone/caulk/NOTHING holding backsplash in place. Piece was just propped against the drywall.

Do not get your countertops installed by this company. Ever. Home Depot uses them as their installer for some unknown reason. The ppl that show up are unprofessional and not versed in installing countertops or dealing with customers. If I could give negative stars I would. They damaged our front door carrying in the countertops and never said anything, used standard caulk to fix the backsplashes to unfinished drywall, did not cut the product properly to fit flush against the wall, left a mountain of quartz dust splattered all over our mailbox and sidewalk, and to add insult to injury used no (yes, i said no) adhesive, silicone or otherwise, to affix the joined back splash behind our sink. They basically joined the seam, then propped up the joined pieces of quartz by fixing the left and right side backsplashes in place with caulk, again, onto unfinished drywall (see photo I grabbed from the video we took). I left several messages with Caroline from Stone Systems over a week and a 1/2 and never received a call back. Finally I just gave up. In the end I corrected all their mistakes and did the install myself. Our experience was textbook blatant incompetence. We have had home projects done over the years and I can firmly say that there is no company I trust less than Stone Systems.

Last week Tuesday, I received a chipped countertop. Was told that someone would be out Friday to replaced. I been fighting with Home Depot ever since. I have NO kitchen sink since that is the counter that was chipped. Today I have been on hold for over an hour to speak to someone finally someone comes on an tells me that I'm not on the schedule after Home Depot told me Monday or Tuesday of this week. After holding for an minute I got disconnected. The worst customer service ever. I want my money back I have been without a working kitchen sink for 7 days. Just got a call back and they're saying Thursday so day 10 I will get my sink back. It been phone tag call dropping they have a new phone system. Just so frustrating

    seam?

First off the installers did not speak fluent English. The seam they installed is per Stones guide lines. You can judge for yourself. Customer service called a week after install and asked if we were satisfied. That was the last call I received. Went to Home depot a couple weeks ago and had a chat with their rep. Was told they were going to look into my complaints. Haven't heard back yet. I don't think we will. Very, very sorry we started this project with Stone Systems and Home depot. Before you start a counter top project check first with the Better Business Bureau and all reviews. We didn't and now we have to look at this fiasco everyday and regret it was started.

My wife Karen and our experience with Stone Systems of Raleigh, NC, last of 2019 and beginning of 2020: Stone Systems office and installation team were on time, kept us informed and anticipated our needs. Can't say this about most of these type companies but they always returned our phone calls and even allowed us to see the patterns and inspect the giant granite slabs before cutting! When we had what was to us an important issue the top person in marketing and production came 40 miles to our house to personally inspect the installation and made a few changes to our complete satisfaction. They already had our money but they came to our house just the same. Karen and I recommended Stone Systems to our daughter who subsequently made a purchase with Stone Systems of Raleigh NC.

    Countertop

We only use this company because we bought our countertop at Lowes. They have already been here 3 times and the 1st time the countertop was made incorrectly, and the installer told us the measurements were not quite right so they would have had to come back anyway. They are always late , never call that they they are coming. When they came back the countertop was not cut right and the installers trimmed it by hand on site?? The cut on one of the pieces was obviously not straight, but I didn't notice untill the sealant they put down had dried. I called and they told me to send pictures, which I did. No one followed up , so I called again and the installers arrived 2 hrs past the appointment again. I showed them the piece which clearly shows a curved line against the cabinet which is 1/4 inch , very obvious. They were trying to get around fixing it, but they took the piece with them ....they said to "match" it. Well it's a quartz top and it does NOT have to be matched as they are all the same. I think they are probably going to just trim it down which will make the gap too wide . Between the range. I called the company and I just get a recording that my phone number is not associated with an order and I can't get a hold of anyone.its been at least two weeks. Don't use this company... they are not very good at customer service. As soon as they have your money...good luck. If you can use a different company, I would.

We are forever grateful to Capital Granite and recommend them highly for your natural surface visions! We had a contract for a solid surface backsplash and when the installer arrived he was using 2 small pieces behind our stove? The seam was going horizontal and not at all what we agreed on! The owner proceeded to tell me that was common practice and in the mean time his wife was texting me that that was not acceptable and Ross (her husband and owner of the company) has a solid surface backsplash and it does not have a horizontal seam half way up! After many terrible conversations (where the owner spoke extremely nasty to me multiple times - once on speaker for my builder and his team to hear) they came back with a solid surface as we had contracted for. The owner came to measure- he did not use a laser to measure. I later learned from my builder that a laser is used to measure in this field of expertise. Our solid surface backsplash is all over the place- it was cut too short in 3/4 of the kitchen and then at an angle under our hood- the installer used white glue to try and hide this (now we have globe of white glue everywhere!) It is a HUGE mess! We have been left with a mess and would advise you to not use Geo's.

He blamed the floor but it was level and it's on a slab which he also claimed. I found Honeycutt and Travis came from the Charlotte location to for an interview and give estimate. I like Travis. He quoted a price that was a little high but I was ready to get the floor done because I was scheduled to have Ankle replacement surgery (September 3) and then go to a nursing facility for 10-12 weeks. He rushed to get me on scheduled. He contracted a crew who is very competent BUT wasn't reliable. Travis said that they did million dollar properties. My home is not a million dollars home but it is mine and I want the same services because my money pays just as a millionaire does. Martin is the supervisor and Hugo, his tile guy is capable of doing great work but you have to stay on both. Martin would come with Hugo to get him started and leave without telling me. Hugo would do the same. I had to call Travis several times to find out where there where and if they were at lunch or done. Travis said that he had multiple jobs going and he pulled them to help me. I appreciate that but my job was not a priority. The first day, Hugo came late, removed the tile, worked for an hour and left. He didn't tell me and left the back door open and the garage. Travis said that he may be at lunch but he could have told me. Travis did speak with both Martin and Hugo. Hugo would tell me each time from then on. I just had to work on his schedule. He was supposed to remove the tile down to the concrete slab and level but he left all of the thin-set and placed the tile that I purchased on top of the old. He made it level but the floor is set high. I have issues with falling so my concerns with falling is great. I purchased two marble transition pieces; one thin and the other wide. Hugo said that he used the new thin but it looks identical to the old. The wide transition piece was out of stock. Travis said that he go get it and let me deal directly with Martin but he'd be available to supervise. He was just going to let them do the the work and give me the price. Travis offered to clean my bath because I wasn't able. I purchased cleaning supplies and mops but he must have been busy with opening the Raleigh location because he did not come back to clean. He is working alone so I get it. He asked where I would be at the nursing home so that he could send flowers. Martin has not contacted me about the transition piece so I am going with another company. He did the quarter round and it was awful. Hugo came and did it and it looked great. He also removed two tiles that didn't go with the other tiles. Travis had him fix it. Obviously, they both have specialties but just getting them to do it was the issue and that is why I gave a 3.
