I was looking for a combination of simple, modern clean lines combined with a little drama, with a blue and grey theme. From the beginning of the project, both Dmytro and Liu gave valuable input on some of my choices to help bring the vision I had for the bathroom to life. All of the team were incredibly courteous, prompt, and hard-working with major attention to detail and a true sense of pride in their work. A special shout out to Vitaly for doing the meticulous tile work and majority of painting/plumbing. During the project, we hit some small glitches that happen with every renovation, and Dmytro and Liu worked closely with me to navigate smoothly through all aspects of the project to get the desired outcome. I love my new bathroom! On top of everything, at the end of the project, there was an unexpected plumbing problem outside of the bathroom not at all related to the project that Dmytro fixed. That level of dedication to the customer went above and beyond and was reflective of the incredible service and care that this company provides. DT renovation is the real deal, they can expertly handle all aspects of a big project, such as intricate rewiring, plumbing, painting, etc. if you want a project done right with spectacular results, I highly recommend Dmytro and his team!

The guy on the phone told me a new one would cost $1900. I thought that a good bit high but maybe water heater prices had gone up, and it was a holiday weekend, so I said okay. When the technician came he told me it would be the $1900 for the heater itself plus another $400 or so for his labor, and that if I didn't do it that day, who knows when it could be scheduled on a normal workday. By then I was frustrated and didn't want the tenants without hot water for a week or so while I haggled over money. I told him to go ahead. After paying $2600, including tax, I noticed in Lowes that their water heaters still cost $700. They actually haven't gone up much. $700 plus $400 is what this should have cost. I paid roughly $1500 more than I should have. The technician left a small paper indicating I paid in full but it had no information about the water heater make or model and nothing about warranties on the heater itself or installation. I texted their office asking for those things and was ignored. Then I left a phone message and was ignored. Finally I drove to their office and was told my case has not been processed and they'll send me everything when it is. I'm still waiting. I feel this is the worst I've been cheated by any company in decades.

I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars updating a variety of homes, beach condos, etc. Love the variety of high-quality products, love the pricing, but one thing that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (that I always! complain about when I'm at the store) is where they put the almost impossible to remove price stickers. Candles-smack on the side of the jar instead of on the bottom. Platters, glassware, the list goes on and on. Here's a picture of a platter I recently bought for Christmas that I ended up bagging using because I didn't have enough time to deal with the sticker. Tonight, I'm having a dinner party so I decided to take it off. I have nail polish on, so can't use nail polish remover-and wanted to avoid having to soak this for hours, but I can't even get it off with a razor blade or a very sharp sharp knife. Ridiculous! Nobody's gonna be stealing things out of the store if the stickers are put in the bottom in an unobtruse location (where you're not having to deal with trying to remove it immediately unless you're giving it as a gift, almost killing or slicing yourself yourself in the process as-I did with this knife because it keeps slipping across the platter as I try to scrape the DAMN sticker off! Incredibly frustrating. I've given this feedback SO many times yet nothing ever changes, but it's probably because I'm giving it to the people ringing me out and they don't give a crap! HomeGoods management-please do something about this! It's incredibly annoying!

I own a cat and never ever is there enough cat related items. I am disappointed the pet section is dedicated dog with part of 1 asile for cats and little to choose from. My favorite part of the store is the kitchen section. I always find things I love there, especially the Rae Dunn products. My one issue with kitchen section is they don't have kitchen scales. It seems they have everything but. Everytime I have gone there I have looked (and not just this HomeGoods). This particular store is clean, not overcrowded (even in the holiday season) and has plenty of products. Rarely do I leave there without something in a bag! The check out clerk at my visit on 12/21/22 was the best. She was friendly, helpful, and fast.

If you want the short version: unless everything goes perfectly, you're risking your hard-earned money. Keep this in mind, I spent over $5,000 for a countertop and was provided something incorrect, and was mocked for thinking someone should apologize. If your installation is straightforward, you might be fine. But if anything--anything--goes wrong, be prepared. CCKB takes zero personal responsibility and will deflect blame onto anything or anyone else. Some background. ~15 years ago, I worked in the kitchen and bath industry. I'd heard some rumors about CCKB back then but never had much direct experience with their work. Fast forward--I was referred to them by a remodeling company. I hesitated, but decided to give them a shot based on the referral. Also worth noting: I've been involved in over four dozen kitchen installations and personally built eight wood countertops. I know how to template, how to handle out-of-plumb walls, and how overhangs work. I'm not a random customer. We had a single slab of honed quartzite, very specific design specs, and a setup that was 100% ready--walls, cabinets, and layout. During templating for the makeup vanity, it was even noted that I requested an extended overhang on the left side (near a doorway). The right side was bordered by a tall pantry-style cabinet, and the back edge met a wall that was out of plumb (which we all knew going in). What showed up? A completely botched countertop. The right side was cut at a ~15-degree diagonal--shorter in the back than the front--leaving a 7/8" gap where the counter should have been flush with the pantry cabinet. Think of a rectangle with three straight sides, and the fourth side hacked at an angle. To be fair, the installer did the best he could but neither him, nor the installation manager offered any recommendation on how to fix it. They originally offered to cut the finished left end, but neither my contract nor I could see how that would fix anything. The suggestion to fix this, came from me. After measuring the angle, there was only one way to fix the gap "Scribe it to the cabinet" just the way the template should have been done to begin with. So, he cut off the angled portion (with an impressively steady hand), but we lost the overhang we had designed. I told the install team I wasn't happy, and then, silence. No call from CCKB--just an invoice. When I finally called, I spoke with someone who I believe is a co-owner. She kept insisting the issue was due to the back wall being out of plumb--totally missing the fact that the actual error was on the side, not the back. The template and CAD drawings showed the measurements she said and the mistake was "the wall being out of plumb"; however, after speaking to everyone NOT associated with CCKB, the mistake was clearly the cut. I tried to explain calmly that this wasn't about the wall--it was a simple length measurement along the side. She repeated herself again, ignoring the facts. I finally told her, "I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say." That's when she laughed at me. Loudly. Mockingly. She then snapped, "Okay, what do you want?" I said calmly, "I don't think I should be charged full price." Her response? "Fine. I'll give you $200 off." I told her I appreciated the gesture, but what I really wanted was an apology and some accountability. Instead, she laughed again and said: "What do you want me to tell you? That you're right? Ok, You're right! *mockingly* I'm sorry, you win! Does that make you feel better?!" I was stunned. Her tone was completely unprofessional and condescending. I told her I just wanted acknowledgment of the issue, and an apology would have been nice. Let's be clear: the only reason this install was even usable was because I guided the installers on how to fix it. The installers had no plan. Bottom line, every company makes mistakes and I believe that's human. But how a company responds to those mistakes defines its integrity. CCKB failed that test completely.
