I mean, you WANT your clients to have fun during what could be a daunting task! So while we were on one side of the building, another rep (I think her name was Pat? She was on the taller side, I'm pretty sure the dog roaming the business was hers as well, and she had curly gray hair) came over and brashly reprimanded us for laughing too loud bc "she couldn't hear what her customer was saying". We all looked at each other like, "WOW! Did THAT just happen?" we are grown women and CUSTOMERS and she handled that extremely unprofessionally and in such a condescending way. She could have easily come over and said in a sweet way with a smile, "Hey! Y'all seem to be having so much fun and it makes me smile, but is there any way you could laugh and talk a little more quietly? I am having difficulty hearing my current client. Again, please have fun! I just need a little help with being a little quieter." We would have completely understood and would have done just that! However, when you come over and REPRIMAND grown adults for laughing while doing business, it put a bad taste in my mouth for that showroom. Also, my interior design team both mentioned that neither of them have ever had a situation happen like that. They felt like they needed to apologize to me as their client! Melanie was wonderful and thorough and handled that brashness like a champ. She is a gem!

Fortunately Fergusons is right down the street and had a great experience there. Spent 20 minutes and got everything I needed.

There was caulk all over the base of the toilet and what ever they put on the floor made it so slick my cane slips and I find it difficult to walk in the bathroom. Dottie Tolson was super friendly and helpful and found a product that was both reasonably priced and in stock. She was interested in finding what was best for me...not what what was the most expensive. When I went to pay, I realized I did not have my credit card. We had a contract for a solid surface backsplash and when the installer arrived he was using 2 small pieces behind our stove? The seam was going horizontal and not at all what we agreed on! The owner proceeded to tell me that was common practice and in the mean time his wife was texting me that that was not acceptable and Ross (her husband and owner of the company) has a solid surface backsplash and it does not have a horizontal seam half way up! After many terrible conversations (where the owner spoke extremely nasty to me multiple times - once on speaker for my builder and his team to hear) they came back with a solid surface as we had contracted for. The owner came to measure- he did not use a laser to measure. I later learned from my builder that a laser is used to measure in this field of expertise. Our solid surface backsplash is all over the place- it was cut too short in 3/4 of the kitchen and then at an angle under our hood- the installer used white glue to try and hide this (now we have globe of white glue everywhere!) It is a HUGE mess! We have been left with a mess and would advise you to not use Geo's.

There were a couple of positives -- my technician, Billy, arrived on time, was communicative throughout the job, and seemed to do solid work. And Theresa in scheduling was exceptionally understanding and helpful when I finally reached her. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by significant issues with communication and scheduling. I first called on 11/17 to request a quote and was told a technician would come out that day. No one contacted me until after 5pm to say no one could make it and that I'd been rescheduled for the next day with no timeframe provided. When I called on 11/18 to ask about that timeframe, I was told a technician would call me -- no one did. I only received a 30-minute heads-up before the technician arrived, which was extremely inconvenient. After comparing quotes, I chose Schwartz/Blaze and called to schedule the actual service. I was told I'd receive a final estimate to sign; it never arrived, and I had to call back to request it again. After signing promptly, I heard nothing for three days. When I called to follow up, I was told the delay was due to "waiting on a part," which didn't make sense given the nature of the job, and no one had communicated that to me. I was also told the department head would call me -- that call never came either. By 11/25, after still hearing nothing, I called yet again. Thankfully, Theresa stepped in and got a plumber out within a couple of hours. The installation itself took over five hours, and although Billy was professional, the price increased by another $100 at the time of service, which was not reflected in the prior quote. Overall, the lack of communication, repeated rescheduling, and surprise charges made this a very frustrating experience. I appreciate the individuals who tried to help, but as a whole, I can't recommend the company based on what I went through. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I want others in the area to be aware of my experience before choosing to hire Schwartz.

I called back around 2:00 pm, and again was told I was on their schedule and someone would be out soon. No one ever showed up Friday, so I called back on Saturday. I was told I was not on their schedule and no one would be out, especially with the impending ice storm. I have used their services for at least 35 years with no problems at all. I had a clogged kitchen sink drain that also kept me from using my washing machine. I will never call them again. I called 3 David's Construction Company. David ( the owner ) came right over to my house and fixed the problem even with the extreme cold, freezing rain and sleet. I have never left a bad review of any company, but felt I should in this case.
