Yes, this is a small order, but I was willing to pay the $50 delivery fee which was the same price as the actual order. It should be noted in their FAQ's online it specifically states there is no minimum order, but I guess this is not true! Additionally, if there is a minimum, this should be clearly on the order page and it should not let you check out if you have not met their unspecified minimum. I'll be renting elsewhere of course, but worth the warning to others throwing a smaller event.

Arrived for pick up 2/15/25 and the place was all locked up and closed for the day. EARLY!!!! No note, nothing. I understand that things happen. But how about a phone call? We would've come 2/14/25 if they needed us to. Leaving customers stranded is just unacceptable business behavior. I left a voicemail that day, hoping for a professional return call Monday morning, explaining what happened. Never heard a word from them, so I called the store. I spoke with Mike. Incredibly rude and unprofessional guy, who said he was the manager 'right now'. But couldn't tell me who the manager would be 'later' that I could speak to. So, I asked for the owner's name. Mike also refused to share the owner's name. I wasn't asking for an address or even a phone number for goodness' sake. I got a lot of run-around, as Mike was dancing around any questions I asked, trying to figure out what had happened Saturday. Just be kind and honest and apologetic when you leave a customer stranded. We've used this place forever, so this was really disappointing. The good news: we had to last minute scramble as my husband randomly google searched local rentals. We stumbled upon XLNT PARTY RENTALS in Orange. Julio answered my call, even though he was driving home already. Within the hour we had pictures and a quote. We crossed our fingers and set up delivery for the very next morning. Julio delivered (literally!) by 9:00am. The entire order went off smoothly and our 35 guests did not have to sit on the ground. Pick-up Monday also went great. I would highly recommend them! Grateful to XLNT PARTY RENTALS for coming through for us! Incredibly disappointed in Saddleback for being so unprofessional in not providing our rental, and even more so with Mike's ridiculous/rude/childish phone skills. Side note: If I ever hear back from anyone at Saddleback, I'll update this post. Update: 10 days since our failed rental and still no call.

The staff who loaded up our vechicles were prompt and professional. * They got us loaded up faster than Quicksilver * Treated all the rental gear like it was made of pure Vibranium - very careful and secure. The second time we used Legacy Party Rental at the outdoor event area in my community. We received a confirmation to sign (which we never signed) We were originally told that they don't deliver to redlands, where our venue is, so my fiancé called and spoke to someone telling them we were not going to go through with them and that we found another rental company. 6 months later!! They charge our account for over $1700! Putting us negative in our account and forcing us to pay over $500 in over draft fees. For 6 whole months after we canceled we did not receive any emails or phone calls from Big Top Rentals. Communication was silent. And then 3 days before our wedding they charged us! We now have less money for our honeymoon because Big Top Rentals did not cancel our order as we requested and did not communicate with us after that. When we canceled with Big Top Rentals months ago, we went with Ricky Rentals. They have been emailing us periodically to remind us of payments, they have been giving us phone calls to check in, and the week of our wedding they sent an email to as a reminder of the event and our booking. Big Top Rentals has not done any of that once. Once the order was canceled they didn't call or email anything and that is bad business. This company is not organized nor professional My fiancé called them telling them that she would like a refund. The guy she spoke to hung up on her. And when she called back later, they told her they were going to refund her. I called the next day to speak to a manager and the guy answered the phone and had no warmth or good customer service. Once I spoke to Lilie, the manager, I explained to her what happened and she interrupted me and started blaming us and getting defensive. She ignored the fact that my fiancé called and asked for the order to be canceled and also lied to me about the fact that they told us they don't deliver to redlands. If you are looking for a rental company for your event or wedding and don't want to be stressed and be put in a whole because of incompetence then Big Top Rentals is not the place for you!
