The Lake: This is one of the best spots to kayak on the West side of St Louis. You can get about 3,000 meters from one loop around the lake, and there are usually very few people on the water. It is much quieter than Creve Coeur Lake. The water is calm and without motorized boats, other than trolling motors. There are often great blue heron and egrets in the water.

He even stopped by during our axe throwing to provide me with one-on-one lessons for at least 10 minutes!! (I was terrible at first LOL). Eventually, I was able to hit the board (FINALLY!) even using one hand. Overall, AMP-UP seems like a fun place. I assume, in the warmer seasons, it can even more fun with the pickle ball open and access to the outdoor space might offer more natural light into the building.
