The trailer and RV were only held together with the safety chains!! We had Roadside Assistance (Agero) through Progressive Insurance, but after being stranded for 3 days waiting for a tow previously, we decided to attempt to solve this ourselves. After struggling for an hour, a little white van with flashing lights pulled up behind us, and a smiling man, Dan got out and asked if we needed help. Within a few minutes he informed us that we had too small a ball on our hitch (our mistake after taking one off 6 weeks earlier so we could be towed, and putting the wrong one on!). His son Brandon quickly remedied the situation, and after a seemingly small amount of money exchanged hands, they helped us safely back on our way, thanking God and counting our blessings. That guy was amazing. On the morning of Tuesday October 15th we called Adams Tow Company to pick us and our truck up and take us to their shop . They did arrive promptly and towed us to their shop. Over the phone He quoted us $300 for a trip and then upon arrival to the shop we were told the amount would be $420 ($10 a mile and $125 service fee) even thought he knew how far we had to go and he still ended up , up charging us. He's attitude was very unpleasant the entire time. As we arrived to the shop we had to wait awhile for the mechanic to arrive since he was in flagstaff picking up parts and an alternator for us. Now he was good. He got the alternator installed quickly and did an amazing job. But we were definitely not happy with the towing aspect of the company and his up charge. I would highly recommend Adam's Automotive repair shop but not recommend their towing service.
