After we paid the required release fee, we discovered that the truck's battery was completely dead and had apparently been sitting that way for approximately a month and a half. Only then were we told that the vehicle would not be released unless it could leave the property immediately under its own power. We did not see that policy posted anywhere, and the owner never informed us about it before accepting our payment. They then charged us an additional $59 for an unsuccessful jump-start attempt. During the transaction, the tow-truck driver misplaced some of the money, became upset, and told us we would have to reschedule because he needed to leave and get money to repay us. Even though the release fees had been paid, the owner still did not want to release the truck because she was afraid we might leave it outside overnight. We drove all the way from Casa Grande with a scheduled appointment specifically to retrieve this vehicle--we obviously did not make that trip just to abandon it in front of the business. We ultimately had to arrange and pay for another tow truck simply to remove the vehicle we had already paid to retrieve. The owner was rude and unprofessional throughout the situation, and the entire experience felt unnecessarily obstructive. Policies and potential additional charges should be clearly disclosed before customers drive a long distance and pay for the release of their vehicle.

I was able to drive the truck towing my RV 86 miles south of Flagstaff contacted AAA to have the truck and trailer towed to Flagstaff, AZ. October 20, 2025 my Ram 1500 truck entered the body shop at Carstar of Sedona to have repairs done from an accident in Albuquerque, NM. A week into the repairs Jacob called saying the truck was ready I refused to pickup for the following reasons: 1. The drivers and passenger door paint did not match Jacob said they were not able to do the second door as they would need to strip and paint the door to match. Insurance company was called and the truck went back into the shop. This was on Friday the Oct. 24th 2. Received phone call stating the truck was ready this was on on Nov. 5th went to pick up the truck again only to notice the newly installed cap was scuffed and scratched along with the plexiglas was shattered. I was never notified Jesse said it was cracked when I brought the truck in I asked for photos they were not able to show the photo that was supposedly taken when I first brought the truck in. The photo that supposedly showed the crack did not show the date Jessie said the date fell off. The guys said it looked good as a design. I was very disappointed that I was never notified and was not mentioned went I went to pick up the truck until I noticed it and asked what happed to my cap and why I was not notified (no comment)the top of the cap was never washed had build up of dirt asked again why they didn't wash the top the owner said the guys was not able to reach it, I asked the owner what happened to using a ladder and brush? The truck went back into the shop to buff out the scuff marks and scratch's only problem now is when the sun's out you can see the buff marks. (I had taken the truck over to have the cap looked where I purchased it I was told something hard would have had to hit the pexiglas for it to shatter) Cost to repair the cap $400 to clean up and install new plexiglas also cost to have a detail shop take care of the buff marks. 3. November 6th finally was finally able to pick up my truck from Carstar of Sedona and head home to Washington State. Pro: 1. Because the delay of getting my truck back the shop drove my truck to Discount Tires to have my tires installed which I had paid ahead of time (this was done as I at the needed to check out from the campground I was staying in) 2. Door's turned out nice they now both match. My suggestion for the Carstar of Sedona is if there's damage that happened while in the shop to communicate to the customer so there's no surprises

You took advantage of me before the holidays and that's all I want people to know. I wasn't going to respond to your response on Yelp but the fact that it's now been over a month and you still refuse to send me a detailed invoice and the fact Nick decided to immediately text me after my initial review threatening legal action and bringing up my military service which is completely unrelated says all without me saying anything further. I gave your company over a month now to send me an invoice and I would have ignored Nicks unprofessional, unprovoked threats, and belittlement over my military service but I can't look past it any further. Here are screenshots of what he texted me immediately after my first review, something I believe everyone will want to see before doing business with your company. For everyone seeing this I spent many years in the Army and I'm a combat veteran so I'm not sure why Nick decided this was relevant to text me when all I was asking was for an invoice so I know why I was charged such an obscene amount. If the invoice looked correct I would have deleted my initial review and went my way but I know that wouldn't have happened which is exactly why he still refuses to send it, something I'm owed as a consumer. I will be disputing $350 of the $946.49 charged to me and will be contacting the BBB over the unprofessional texts that were very unnecessary and unprofessional. These screenshots say a lot about Nick and your company's character.
