The technician who did my manicure used only an electric file to remove the gel polish and filed my nails so aggressively that they felt hot and painful. I told her it hurt, but she would only stop briefly and then continue. She applied four coats of nail polish, and the final result had very noticeable and uneven streaks. This time I asked for a certain color and the technician refused and said I'd look better in pink. She proceeded to paint my nails pink. The job was rushed, too. The time before this the technician insisted that I do nail extensions and I did not want them. So I've been here a few times now. I like to wait for a few experiences before I can accurately rate a place and this salon is constantly awesome. The first thing you notice is how open the space is and how clean it is. The design of the pedicure area is nothing I ever saw before but so cool. They have dividers between most seats which I like especially with covid still going on. Everyone working wears a mask. The $30 regular pedicure was amazing and included a massage and hot stones at the end. I also love that the tubs are lined with plastic and changed between each customer. Nail tools are either disposable or out of a brand new package that is sterilized. The staff is also so kind. This is definitely going to be my go to salon. read more

I visited the salon to have an Apres Gel-X set removed because I couldn't get to NYC to the artist who applied the manicure. I had no idea how big of a mistake that was! I would've been better off buying acetone polish remover and sitting at home to do it myself or waiting another two weeks to go to NYC. When I asked the technician how she was going to remove the gel nails, she said with the drill. When I asked if I needed to soak them first, she said no. She started and I interrupted her twice to say that I did not want the drill to touch my nails. I jerked my hand back when I felt the heat from the drill, but didn't realize right away that it was because she was removing the gel and damaging my nails. THREE MONTHS LATER - after I treated my nails every 3-4 days with nail strengthener and cuticle oil - my nails have finally stopped splitting, cracking and grown out to a healthy thickness and length. I will NEVER go back and absolutely DO NOT recommend this salon. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Used to be a regular here, but now I will NEVER be returning. Got a Gel-X set done and noticed a large gap in between my natural nail and the gel extension tip. In fact, the gap was so large that i could fit one of my nails in between it. After consulting multiple online resources and a friend who frequently gets gel-x done, this in fact was not normal and could lead to serious issues like fungus and other infections. I went back two days after because I had been sick and told the nail tech who did my nails the situation and why I wanted her to fix them. She just told me "this is different stuff" and there is no need to get them fixed. Her version of "fixing" them was just filing the sides. Not wanting to make a problem I left, but was still not satisfied so I went back. I had to argue with another one of the nail techs that several of my nails to be fixed. After almost 10 minutes going back and forth with her, she finally decided to fix a few of the nails, but not all of the ones I asked her to fix. She was being extremely lazy and made it clear she did not want to do her job. At this point, I was tired of arguing with her so I just let her do the ones she agreed to do. Then, the woman who was fixing my nails and the nail tech who had done my nails several days before were making it more than obvious that they were talking shit about me in another language right in front of my face while fixing my nails. I almost cried right there because of how uncomfortable they made me feel, even though they were the ones in the wrong in this situation. They did this throughout the whole duration of the appointment. The level unprofessionalism in this place is disgusting. No client should ever feel the way I felt, it is unacceptable. I had asked kindly for them to fix a service I wasn't happy for, and then I'm treated like shit and made fun of in front of my face. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

My daughter went there 4/5/22, as she has been doing for quite some time now. The young lady she usually went to no longer works there. She tried a new girl Michelle, and she literally brutalized her fingers. Today the day after she had her nails done she sent me a couple of photos. She has bruises all around her finger nails and bleeding at the cuticles. She has to soak her fingers in cold water and put neosporin on her fingers so they don't get infected. I am one tough cookie and have been known to walk into quite a few nail salons because I expect superb service. I love the interior and layout of the salon and am always greeted warmly when I come in. I have had a few different techs for both manicure and pedicure and all do great work. There is no rushing, and all are pretty attentive. The have a wonderful pedicure menu and - I have tried a few of them - all relaxing and refreshing. I tend to want to see a few colors before I commit and it is never a problem. I go to Mimi for gel manicure and Celina for the best pedicure. Period. I hate to call them out because I want to make sure I have access but honestly- they are the best. Very happy here. Keep up the great work! read more

I've had two great pedicures here, so I decided to try a gel mani plus an eyebrow & lip wax. Wax: fastest drip on, yank off - EVER (over 30 years). Relatively good job, as in "better than when I walked in", but I can see that I'll be cleaning up the missed parts later. Gel: also speedy. My nails are rather short at the moment which can make for a challenge when coloring within the lines, so to speak, but the coverage is good, neat and generally well done. I would have preferred if the nail tech would have tested the color on my nail first & asked if it was what I wanted since I was a bit unsure to begin with. I don't love it, but that's on me. What I found disconcerting is that the countertops and mani stations look, well, dirty. Tech did not wash her hands before touching mine (nor did the esthetician). Equipment used for manicure had been sitting on her station - did not come out of a sanitizer (the one right behind her had a dislodged door...), nor was it individually packaged. She also did not wipe down the table, the wrist-rest, gel lamps, surface or seat before I sat down. Whereas COVID precautions are very low at the moment, I've come to expect much more attention to hygiene since long before Coronavirus came along. Not to mention there's a huge sign on the door claiming the proprietor is uber-cautious regarding cleanliness, which is not the case. Lots more attention given to pedicures per my observation, which is ironic given the necessary attention to washing hands as the most important aspect of reducing germ spread. Will think twice before returning for this reason - not worth getting a potential fungal infection or worse when I can get a cleaner, equitably priced and decent manicure elsewhere. read more

I was getting gel x extensions regularly here after being told I would still have healthy nails even underneath the extensions. I started going here regularly about every 3-4 weeks. After my last fill, I developed a nasty nail infection which involved me taking antibiotics. When I had my nails removed elsewhere my nails were completely destroyed. They were paper thin and hurt to the touch. Avoid this place as they are clueless as how to properly care for nails. They are so aggressive with the drills and will drill down to your nail plate. When I'd get a fill there, it started to burn whenever I put my nails under the UV light, they would barely react and tell me to just put them in and take them out repeatedly. I learned my lesson and will never go back here. read more

I passed this place last week and had some time to kill decided to get a gel manicure. I called asked if there was availability, have been burned not taking this step in the past, there was said I would be there in 20. I arrived was greeted warmly and ushered to a table where Joy began removal of my old gel polish. While the gel was bubbling away in the tin foil around my little nails I was delighted to be given a back massage. This was a first normally it is given at the end but thought this was a delightful time to get one since you do waste about 10 mins doing nothing at this point. Now the massage did not last 10 mins it was enough to break up the time and thoroughly appreciated. The acctual manicure was pleasant and efficient. There was not a lot of talking... At all between me and joy.. The woman next to me... Next to her... Was very quiet. Perhaps too quiet. But maybe thats just me. I was very happy with my service. They get a bonus point for having bag hangers at the end of each table. 2 thumbs up for that The only reason not 5 stars is because the woman to my right was having a horrible service like visable bad job. I really love this place. The decor is so pretty and adorable it really catches your eyes and makes you feel very relax and at peace. I went for a regular manicure and pedicure I thought their service was very friendly and excellent. For Manicure I got Ellie she has the most beautiful nails ever and she was very good my nail polish didn't chip for a whole week and it still look like just had them made. Celine did my pedicure and OMG she was amazing she gave such a beautiful shape to my nails and made them so cute. Also, the food massage she game was fantastic and I am definitely coming back with them. I think their prices are good since the quality of their service is great. Besides, the decor of the place is very luxurious and makes you feel like a real princess. They got a complete nail spa menu that looked very interesting maybe in my next time over there I will try their special pedicures. I am glad they opened this place near my house I will visiting it again soon. read more

Got my nails done yesterday here, had acrylics on with powder they took the powder off and put gel on they seemed fine to me, still felt thick enough and strong to me but one broke today less that 24 hours later. Went back they wouldn't fix it without me paying another 10 dollars so left my nails looking like this... shouldn't have to pay 10 dollars when they get ruined not even a day after getting them done. Just moved to the area and was looking for my nail salon. After trying a couple that did not work, I found Stirling and will keep going back. The technicians are good and friendly, they have a range of options and the service is good. They always have a lot of people there so the wait is never long. I typically do gel/shellac manicures and I find they last three weeks which is quite good. The pedicures are also good and relaxing. Cleanliness is also good. I am a fan! read more

It lasted all of mayyybe 30 mins, closer to 25, and my polish job looks like a 5 year old did it. Toe Nails cut totally uneven and polish job looks terrible. Looks like she maybe did one coat. If I wasn't staring intently at my bleeding finger I would have said something before I left. Also fastest mani. Cut my finger and didn't say anything :( I've been getting my nails done for 18 years and I have never in my life gotten a manicure where they don't even wet your hands before they start cutting up your cuticles. He was telling me powder dipped nails are bad fir my nails but yet they offer that in there salon. since I insisted I want powder dipped he did it but was in a rush to finish it. I really wanted to love my experience at this new and beautiful salon. Unfortunately i woukd not rate the quality of service very highly. I had a regular mani pedi, which cost $54 before the "discount." $43 is still a bit high for this service in our area. The technician doing the manicure was so distracted with talking on the phone and to her coworkers that she didn't even notice the polish was dripping and running off my fingers when she whisked me to the pedi chairs. The polish even got on my clothing. The pedicure was ok, nothing special, but they push extra services to jack up the price. I didn't bite. In the end the woman doing the pedicure noticed how awful my fingernails looked and removed the polish and gave me a clear coat before i left. Maybe it was just a fluke. read more
