Would give them zero stars if I could. Called their office and asked if they charge for estimates, the lady at office said when plumbers show up they would tell me if their was an estimate fee. I explained I dont want anyone to come out if there is an estimate fee. Later that day got a call from the plumbers saying they were in the area and they were coming by if I was home. So I said sure. They showed uo, didnt mention anything about a esrimate fee and started looking at my new build issues from the previous plumber who didnt finish. They threw out a verbal $14,000, could be more and I said I will contact them if I decide to hire them because had 3 more companies looking at issue. They left and I hired someone else that was about $6000 cheaper. Few weeks later I received a bill for $225 for estimate. I called them and explained No one ever mentioned they charged a fee for estimate, even when I specifically asked the question to the office worker on initial call and told them not to come out if they charged a fee. They said it didnt matter, I am to pay for their time spent providing me an estimate. Very unprofessional service and not trustworthy! read more

they saw me coming, had main leak after meter was changed. charged me $400 to look for it, told me that I would get credit for that if they did work. Not. They spent first day digging up and destroying my line, then they figured I needed a quote.....good timing huh? twice what I was expecting. was told line was wrong kind and wouldn't pass inspection, highly doubt there was any inspection. anyway, they waited until the next morning to finish and expected payment right then and there, had to leave work to meet them, felt mob like. the only thing missing was the gun. I've been without hot water for 5 days. I have been calling them for 5 days. The first few days it would ring once and then the call was ended. For the last 3 days they keep promising me. They're going to call me back and have yet to do that. If they don't want my business they should have said they did not want my business. They are the ones that installed unit about 2 years ago. And they said if there's any warranty at all on it I have to find it myself. read more

So I had an emergency backup last night (11/30/24) so I was worried about finding someone willing to come out in the Sunday of a holiday weekend. Ted was the first person to get in contact with me, and was happy to help me out. He sent David and Tyler to help fix what turned out to be a SERIOUS clog in my sewer pipes, which had backed up into both showers and had started coming up under one of the toilets! These two were AMAZING!! They were able to clear the clog quickly and even reset my toilet with new wax and bolts for the toilet!! I can not imagine a better outcome after what turned out to be the worst birthday present I have ever gotten! They were professional and compassionate, and if anything like this happens again, they will be my first call! Kinda expensive.. $300 for 30 minutes of work. and my drain is still clogged, main line was snaked but that did not fix my issue. Maybe communication issue, but i called to see if they could help again and they said they would still have to charge me another $300 a week later. just overall unhappy with these plumbers. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL if you chose to use this company. They are EXPENSIVE and charge $185.00 for service call and always send 2 men out. Poor customer service Lack of respect for customers Do not back their work Poor work ethics On May 9,2024 Stinson plumbing of 5457 Hwy 641 S in Benton Ky 42025 was asked to return to home at 1178 Chester Rd. in Kirksey Ky. I had asked for 1 plumber but have now found out their policy is to always send 2 on service calls. This is the second recent call made to them and in 2023 they sent out 2 to install a new well pump. This was truly a fiasco as they arrived late, left 2 different times, and then came back only to now be in OVERTIME mode! I had to approve this much to my dissatisfaction, adding 92.50 to an already high bill! Recent call was to recheck the well pump as the washer and dishwasher are getting sand in the line. When they arrived, they immediately went for the dishwasher! This was NOT what the service call was even for. Customer removed the lower rack filled with glassware (and has severe back issues and mobility difficulty) to show them that she had already cleaned out the filter component. They immediately looked at the bottom of the dishwasher, did not put the lower rack back in, did not tighten the filter in bottom and proceeded to shut the door and run the dishwasher. This was all done by the plumbers and they did not even check the dishwasher before they left. They told customer "let's run the dishwasher while we are here!" When customer opened the door later, the bottom components had been tossed around and when landed in the bottom of the dishwasher they were MELTED! In trying to talk with Dallas and a Brock Henson about this issue, they FULLY denied that this was not the case. They said 'their guys' told them that customer had taken apart the filter and that she had pushed the start button. Customer KNEW the dishwasher should not be run so why would she start it? The younger of the 2 men, Andrew was the one who pushed the start button. Would not give me his last name or the older man either. In talking with Brock with Dallas in the background, I was told I was not being told the truth by my daughter, the customer!! I highly resent that they indicated she was a liar! I ask why that did not stand behind their work and ask that the dishwasher be replaced. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Brock even said, take me to court if you want when I indicated I would be filing complaints against the company. read more

I'm a disabled Vet in Benton giving Stinson Plumbing a huge thank you!! I bought a new Navian Tankless hot water heat that is amazing! This month's gas bill is $11.42 down more than 50%. The hot water is endless and faster delivery that the tank I had. Five stars!! I also bought a nice tile shower upgrade that's amazing despite a flaky employee messing the first install up badly. Mr. Stinson himself made it all right completely. The new shower is beautiful! I have nothing but praise for their integrity and professionalism. The worst ever!!!! They came to clean my drainage. After a little try, not more than 30 min in total being on my property they said "we don't know what the problem is and don't have any equipment to find what it is" then they handed me a bill for 3 hours work. And i left with the same problem and the bill. Had to call another guys who came with real tools and fixed the problem in 5 minutes charging me for exact time they spent on me. The rating is zero stars!! They charged me $560 for 1 1/2 hours work- they replaced a 10' section of pipe and 2 outdoor faucets (all PVC) . when I asked what their hourly rate was the lady informed me that it was $150 an hour!! read more

DO NOT HIRE! This company is unprofessional and their owner, Ted, is disrespectful and unorganized. We hired them for our new construction house for plumbing and other miscellaneous work. They have not come back to finish the plumbing, a lot of the work they did needed to be corrected which costs us double and they let our job sit for months without any work being done. They are also overpriced for subpar work. Save yourself a headache and hire somebody who knows how to run a business and treat customers with respect. read more
