But once she used one of the vanities and discovered the drain leaked into the vanity interior, she contacted them immediately. It's been almost a MONTH and they still have not come out to finish what they started. My mother (73) and her mother/my grandmother (102) are home all day long and Gibson claims they have come out multiple times and no one was home. Not possible! Neither my mother nor grandmother are in the condition to be fixing what the plumber should have done right the first time. I wish my mother knew how to use Yelp and had seen that Gibson had a 1-star rating. I would have advised them NOT to contact Gibson. DO NOT CONTACT THESE PLUMBERS TO GET ANYTHING DONE. They will not take responsibility for the work they do and they will leave you high and...well, WET. They don't back up their work and they seem very annoyed that they have to make the trip out. Called their office and asked if they charge for estimates,…read morethe lady at office said when plumbers show up they would tell me if their was an estimate fee. I explained I dont want anyone to come out if there is an estimate fee. Later that day got a call from the plumbers saying they were in the area and they were coming by if I was home. So I said sure. They showed uo, didnt mention anything about a esrimate fee and started looking at my new build issues from the previous plumber who didnt finish. They threw out a verbal $14,000, could be more and I said I will contact them if I decide to hire them because had 3 more companies looking at issue. They left and I hired someone else that was about $6000 cheaper. Few weeks later I received a bill for $225 for estimate. I called them and explained No one ever mentioned they charged a fee for estimate, even when I specifically asked the question to the office worker on initial call and told them not to come out if they charged a fee. They said it didnt matter, I am to pay for their time spent providing me an estimate. Very unprofessional service and not trustworthy!

I called every couple hours, left two voicemails and eventually got the message that their voicemail box was full. Essentially, they ghosted me and I had to scramble to find someone else as I was on a time crunch. Disappointed because this place had a 5 star rating.

They have always shown up on time and have always taken care of whatever we needed. At my home, they have replaced a commode, a water heater, and a kitchen sink. At my business, they have replaced a toilet line and valve, installed a new sink, and repaired some old copper lines that ran to a water fountain. One thing that always impressed me was when the technician replaced our commode. After the old one was removed, there was a ring left on the floor from the previous commode. It had absolutely nothing to do with his work, but he still made a point to apologize and let us know about it. I thought that said a lot about how conscientious he was and the attention he paid to what he was doing. I've used them for several different jobs over the years, at home and at work, and I have found they are dependable and easy to deal with.

I asked if they at least wanted to come to look at it first and give me an estimate (this was on a Monday). Was told "that's not necessary; if we need anything when we get there we'll run up to Lowes for it". I called again Wednesday to confirm Friday's schedule because I was going to have to pay for having the water pumped out before they could work on it, and asked AGAIN if they would come look at it to make sure they knew what they were looking at and would have needed materials; was again told "it's not necessary, we'll take care of all of it when we get there, and we'll have it done that day". I paid $650 to have the water pumped out on Thursday evening so it would (theoretically) be dry for them to work on Friday. The crew got here Friday morning, looked at it, called the office, and the office called me back and said, "We're not going to do it. It's going to be a big job and we've got several small jobs we need to do instead". SERIOUSLY? I asked what I'm supposed to do, and she snipped "I suggest you call somebody else!" So they cost me $650 for pumping that had to be done AGAIN because they didn't do the work they confidently stated they WOULD do. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. I told the person who'd recommended them (it was actually the business owner of the pumping company) what happened, and he said "I never would have recommended them if I'd known they were going to do you that way!"

Pretty much just walk off the job with no explanation. Will not be using this company again and would highly suggest anyone looking for a plumber bypass this company. VERY Unprofessional.
