Very good! There's such a huge selection of Dentists....I can find 10 within a mile or 2 of my house, so it can be hard deciding who to pick. I like Stillwater Dental because they give you a lot of attention when you are in their care. Once you go back for your service, a team of people are caring for you. Some people want glamorous. There's nothing really glamorous about it, but it has a decent front waiting room, and once you go back it's clean and well designed. I would like to thank Dr. Florina, who has always done a wonderful job working on my teeth, for her patience and expertise. I have visited her last week with my 5 year old son, who needed to have a small cavity filled. He refused to open his mouth, would not let doctor do any work. Eventually, I gave up, got a referral to a pediatric dentist. There was no need for that. Dr. Florina worked her magic and somehow got my son to open up and was able to fix that tooth. We'd been with another dental practice for years but a change in insurance dictated that we needed to find a new one. Frankly, we chose Stillwater because it was conveniently located near our house. But it's turned out to be an excellent choice. The office is cheerful, inviting and clean. The front-end staff make a real effort to know each patient's name and greet them warmly. Every dentist//hygienist I've had contact with has been friendly and knowledgeable and strived to make me comfortable. Dr. Medina, with whom I've most recently had contact thanks too a broken old crown, is very good at what he does and explains every step he's making as the procedure progresses. I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple years and it showed: I needed four crowns as well as some minor cosmetic work done. I chose Dr. Medina on the basis of a Yelp review and am I glad I did! This is the first time I didn't mind going to the dentist. I saw Dr. Asuan, and he was funny and had great hands. He also provided excellent explanations in response to my questions. The assistants were all great too. My daughter went for her first-ever dental visit and was totally comfortable. Dr. Maya rocks too. If these dentists moved to Scenectady, I'd still see them. In the past 2 months I have had several procedures done at Stillwater. My first procedure was a wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Medina. He is by far the nicest, calming and down to earth dentist I have ever met. My second (and third) procedure(s) was a dental scaling of the right side of my mouth by Sherry. She was very nice and thorough. She is also very helpful and teaches you proper ways to take care of your teeth. My fourth (and fifth/final of the year) was a dents scaling of the left side of my mouth by Amanda. Amanda is very welcoming and made me feel comfortable even during a painful procedure. I highly recommend Stillwater Dental. Even the ladies at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. I have not had a bad encounter there. read more

Dr Madina is good. The billing department sucks. Their estimates are wayyyyy off. You will get an estimate of $10 and then they will send you a bill for $200. This happens on more than one occasion even after the pre authorization from insurance. Had to find a different office. I can't keep getting blindsided by the difference in their quotes and actual bill. read more

At this stage I usually just need my twice yearly cleaning and while I will not say that I exactly "enjoy" the experience, I kinda do!!! I recently cracked a molar (upper right 2nd tooth from the back) around 8 pm. This tooth previously had a large cavity that was repaired by a dentist I used to go to when I lived in the city 10 years ago before moving to Naperville. I was scheduled to go out of town on business the next morning, and was in a panic. My brother recommended I call Dr. Ray. I called Dr. Ray, and explained my situation that evening, and he scheduled me to come in first thing the next morning at 8 am. Dr. Ray was amazing! I'm a huge baby when in comes to needles, especially when they are in my mouth. I literally felt no pain from the time Dr. Ray started working on my tooth including the Novocain injections until the time I left! Dr. Ray repeatedly asked if he was causing me any pain, as I tend to tense up any time he was working in my mouth. I'm sure this is a result of previous experiences, and my body involuntarily preparing for intense dental pain. No one likes to go to the dentist especially under these circumstances. However Dr. Ray was so amazing that when I left I completely forgot that I had any work done. Dr. Ray is efficient, I was in the chair at 8 am and I was out of his office before 9 am, and was able to maintain my schedule to leave out of town which I didn't think was going to be possible. Dr. Ray even had enough time to perform an annual dental cleaning so that my pearly whites were tip top for my out of town business meeting that afternoon! I wish I would have know about Dr. Ray years ago! I highly recommend Dr. Ray, and Stillwater Dental Group! Thanks again Dr. Ray you are a dental rock star! read more

I'm very disappointed with Dr. Ray Asuan. I had a composite resin treatment to one of my front teeth a few days ago, but the resin part was a little bit broken while I was brushing my teeth on the same day. So I visited again the dentist without formal appointment, because I didn't want to pay again, and I thought it can be fixed as after-service. However, he treated me like a free-beggar patient, and did a poor treatment for the part within few minutes. He didn't focus on the part, showed me a kind of insincere manner, and went out of the room quickly without checking my satisfaction for the treatment. Even if I understood he was busy with other patients at that time, his action was unprofessional to the patient who had the problem with his first treatment. I still feel uncomfortable with the broken resin part and will meet another dentist in the local area to check my front tooth. read more
