I found the teams good Yelp reviews and wanted to try them after I went to a dentist in my insurance plan who did an awful job on my filling and was incredibly rude. The moment I called North Pointe they were understanding and competent - a total 180 from the previous dentist I went to! The North Pointe staff were able to squeeze me in a few days after I called because I was in discomfort. They were able to fix my issues from the other dentist in no time and most of all, they treated me so kindly. I cannot rave about my experience enough! Well... I've done just about everything you can do at a dental practice with North Point Dental. From a simple cleaning, to getting two replacement crowns after mine old ones cracked from a different dental office, teeth whitening, and my final prerogative of 6 cosmetic porcelain veneers across the top row of my front teeth. I've spent many hours at this dental facility and the staff is extremely competent, patient, and truly caring. Dr. Brown himself is so knowledgeable and skilled and walks you through the entire process as it's happening and takes time to answer questions and hear out your concerns. I went here and was impressed with the interior design but the rest was not so impressive. I've had three fillings while I've been a patient with North Pointe. The first 3 fillings were not done well. The teeth that were operated on had a large gap in between my teeth after he was done. Now food gets stuck in my teeth all the time. I have never had a problem till now. I had a gut feeling something wasn't right with the way things were going. I chose a different dentist and he immediately pinpointed the teeth that had fillings done by North Pointe Dental. He told me the dentist at North Pointe did not do a good job with closing the spaces in between the teeth that he put fillings in and one of the teeth needed to be completely redone. I saw the X-ray of the tooth that needs to be reworked again and you could tell the filling didn't sit flush with the rest of my tooth. My new dentist said it was a matter of time before it pops off from flossing. I wasted time, money, and now I have to repair the mistakes North Pointe has done to my teeth. Everyone at this practice is amazing. They are so kind and gentle. Dr. Brown explains everything he's going to do before he does it, and I trust him to make recommendations on what I need done. He's conservative in his recommendations, which I appreciate, as I've had some bad experiences in the past. I was not satisfied with the dentist or the work completed. If you need anything other than a cleaning I would suggest you consider other options. X-rays were not taken as needed. There was quite a bit of pain involved in the work that was done. There were issues with the accounting and I was over billed. The Dr.'s response was that sometimes mistakes were made. The cement from my permanent retaining wire came loose a couple days ago and I was referred to North Pointe because I couldn't get in any place else and me messing with it only made matters worse. I called and was given a 4:10 appointment that same day! There was no hemming and hawing, the receptionist was pleasant and efficient. Dr Brown was shockingly pleasant as well! As well as his dental assistant. I've been to other dentist and they can be rush rush with no pleasantries. He was kind, pleasant and did a quick efficient repair. No discomfort at ALL. I have lived in two other states prior to IL and have been to a lot of dentist and I was very impressed with Dr. Brown. This is the best dentist that I have ever been too. The office was extremely clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Brown made me feel at ease and took his time to really explain things during the check up. He also let me know what he was going to doing before doing touching my mouth (as opposed to other doctors that I have been to in the past who just stick their hands in my mouth and start poking around without saying a word until they were done). I recently moved to Naperville and had to find a new dentist and I found North Pointe online and it had great reviews so decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed at all. Dr. Brown really cares about his patients and explains thoroughly every step of the way what is going on. I called Dr. Brown's office after my regular dentist said he couldn't help me with my cracked wisdom tooth. I was seen the same day and given the most thorough exam I'd ever had.
