Unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock that day, despite my hopeful pun. But what really stood out was the effort the staff put in to help me. They didn't send me on my way; instead, they took the time to check the back room, just in case there was leftover stock that hadn't made it to the floor. When that didn't pan out, they didn't stop there. One of the employees pulled up their online inventory system to see if it was available or if other locations might have them. This kind of proactive service is what makes Ace feel like the helpful neighborhood hardware store it's known to be. Even though I left empty-handed this time, I left with a positive impression.
