I'm neither sure if this will do any good nor do I know why this is the worst pharmacy I've ever used, but I feel like a masochist every time I interact with their system. 45 minute + call holds is not unusual, neither is a sudden disconnect after really long hold times. Today, I've called four times - first time resulted in an immediate disconnect after completing a few prompts, second disconnect happened even faster, third the same as the first, and then the fourth time I made it (finally) to the actual hold music and after 5 minutes heard a new automated voice say, "Sorry, but we're experiencing some difficulty. Please call back at a later time." I'm switching after this round of refills. This is crazy in the making. read more

I recently moved my scripts here from the target/CVS in town. I went through the rx drive thru and I didn't wait more than 3 minutes for a script I had previously called in to refill...great and quick service. read more

This pharmacy sends notice that prescriptions are ready for pickup, yet they aren't ready and you have to wait in the store for a half hour, or they don't even have it in the pharmacy and you need to return a different day. There is no apology offered for this happening. Their system is terrible. read more

This was about the level of service I usually get. Not too good. Slow....annoyed pharmacists. The drive thru and inside is painfully slow. Will be looking for a new pharmacy soon. If you decide to visit this location bring a book or a series of books to read. read more

I have had countless experiences with this location filling prescriptions. The latest was last week, I watched as the doctor entered the prescription and sent it to this location. A few hours later, I called the pharmacy to determine if the prescription was ready. Person answering the phone call claimed the prescription hasn't been received. I received the same story over the weekend. I will contact the physician requesting prescription be resubmitted. 4 days later the prescription has not been processed. Avoid this pharmacy if you need your medication same day. I would have given a lower rating if negative stars were available. read more

K honestly? Where does one go for baby medicine at night if they close so dang early?! Said online they were open (it was 6pm) and they were closed?!?!?! Remember the good ol days when pharmacies were open 24/7? This particular location is always having "computer issues" at their pharmacy. Honestly have never had a smooth encounter here. But, since my husband wanted to live in the country, here I am putting up with this crazy since it's the closest pharmacy to us. Staff is nice, just struggling clearly. read more

This stores pharmacy is the worst!!!! My doctor sent over my presciption at 8:00 am. I was on hold for 47 minutes at 2:00 pm as my prescription was not even in progress,. She told me it would be done by 5:00 pm. Went at 5:30 pm, 12 people in line. Spoke to the manager of the store. That was a waste of time!!!! All she had was a blank look on her face when I spoke with her. This location is always a problem. The drive-thru is never open. The line to pick up scripts is normally 8-12 people long. I have been waiting to start my steriod therapy all day!!! Crucial.... The store is also closed from time to time. During business hours. I am pulling my prescription business and moving on to a different location. I have had enough of this store. read more

This store never answers the phone I waited 55 minutes yesterday and never got anyone and today another 30 minutes! They lime to close the drive through and then you wait in a huge line in the store! They can do better! read more

The pharmacy never picks up the phone. I've been on hold for 45 minutes before. I have never actually been able to get through to pharmacy staff any time I have called (I've called many times). When you go to pick up prescriptions, there are often very long lines and the staff seems to move slowly and sluggishly. Half the time the drive through is closed. Not sure if there are staffing issues or it is mismanaged, but I have never had this issue with another Walgreens. read more

My best friend and husband told me I looked like a Wal-mart photo waiting to happen today when I left the house for some mindless shopping. So what if I had grey sweats on and a kitty-cat hoodie with my hair pinned up. I was feeling pretty spunky. So I decided I would go ahead and go on in to this beast of a store. I was happy to see that this store is clean with nice wide aisles and a handful of associates to help if need be. I have been neglecting old Wally-world for a bit because I was holding a bit of a grudge against them due to some recent experiences at my local Hudson store and also sometimes the other shoppers there drive me absolutely bonkers with screaming kids zipping to and fro. I was able to leisurely browse and pick up some household cleaning supplies at a decent price. read more

Absolutely atrocious experience. The manager working was rolling her eyes at me when i asked for my pickup order then when i asked her what I could do to figure out the confusion with the order she walked away from me and completely ignored me. I then watched her turn away a guest because they were "too busy" to help her print pictures but they had only one other person in the store. After having to go find someone else to help me he informed me to talk to the manager who was the same person that was rolling her eyes at me and ignoring me. If that is the type of staff this company is choosing to employ then i am just disappointed over all. Horrible experience and I will never be coming back to this location. read more

This is the second time now that I have gone in to pick up a prescription that was sent from my doctor electronically that they "didn't receive". After multiple times asking are you sure its is always nope, nothing here. Then it is a matter of playing phone tag with your doctors office only to find out that the prescription was indeed sent to them. The it is back to trying to find someone on the phone at walgreens to talk to and then you finally go there (for the second time) to be told they just got it and to wait another hour. (Come back in an hour). OK, so I literally just had sugery. I just got home from the hospital and 6.5 hours of waiting for my prescriptions and three trips to the store is absolutely unacceptable. In additiona their phones lines are constantly down, so you cannot even reach anyone. read more

I was extremely surprised that when checking out at the register, the cashier was not wearing a mask. The cashier was a female in her twenties, the group spreading the virus, and she sneezed while waiting on me. The plastic barriers at this Walgreens are very poor so there was not 6 feet between us when she sneezed. I'm extremely surprised that a drug store, servicing the at risk population, doesn't require their employees to wear a mask. It's amazing Menard's , a hardware store, does and a drug store doesn't. read more

This Walgreens is usually very nice and tidy. The staff is very friendly and I can usually get in and out around 15 min depending on the time I go in. I've had no problems with this Walgreens at all and I go there very often. read more

Walgreens in Oak Park Heights, MN was a real disappointment for me, as I travel a lot and had such great experiences at other Walgreen stores in California, Minnesota and Wisconsin. My past experience was so good that it's why I went to this store. My problem began when I went to pick up my medication that was ready and confirmed by email for pickup. It was ready and packaged but was something like $500 cause they haven't called Medicare or secondary insurance. That was OK but then they wanted an "original" prescription from the doctor though it was filled by a transfer Rx (insulin, not a controlled substance) from a California Walgreens. I was told several times they need an "original Rx". They did NOT need a original Rx as I learned from Walgreens in Wisconsin. The entire problem was Walgreens in Oak Park Heights, MN requiring an "original Rx" and then telling me to come back on Monday because after waiting 4 hours at Walgreens in Oak Park Heights, MN to call Medicare the office was closed. I ended up driving an additional 106 miles to another Walgreens in Wisconsin and had wonderful treatment. I don't think it's the Pharmacist but the other helpers that don't know what is required. I may try this store again as its close to my sons house but I'll try to avoid it. This store in NOT "at the corner of happy and healthy" for me. read more

This store NEVER has enough check outs open over the lunch hour. Sometimes only 2 at a very busy time! also seems that many employees are walking around the front of the store- but do not run the registers or walk the isles to help customers. I'd like to use the store more, but always get so aggravated waiting in long lines to check out that I swear I'm not coming back again..... read more
