I said but you told me it would be $250. She was not professional at all and breeched her verbal contract. (It also says $250 on their website) I have a civil claim I can pursue. I don't think the red light products were that effective: I always felt extremely pressured to purchase products. When I wanted to cancel my membership, I had to go through many hoops. First, I wasn't about to cancel in person. I had to go online. After submitting my cancellation request, I had to wait for a customer service email. The email said they got my request, and someone would be in contact with me soon. A day later, the response was asking me if I would rather freeze my account for $5 a month rather than cancel. I responded with no thank you, and still never got a confirmation that my membership was cancelled. I asked for confirmation but no response. Eventually, I went to the store to confirm I no longer was eligible, and luckily it was cancelled.

I've used all the different beds (basic, high performance, standing) as well as the red light booth. The bulbs are always strong and changed frequently so you don't have to waste time in an inefficient bed with bulbs that are past their prime. I love the UVA-only bed (Matrix) but the Alpha is great too, especially if you get hot while tanning, which I do. the equipment is always clean and well-maintained -- no burnt out bulbs or cracked acrylic to be found. The staff are always kind and helpful. Logan is lovely and is always sweet and she knows her stuff, too. I appreciate the wide array of lotions they sell that work for most price points and budgets. My only complaint (not really even a complaint, just something I'd like to see changed even for part of the year) is that their hours aren't longer. If you work a shift during the day, you may not be able to make the time to tan, especially if you try to go on lunch (since the traffic on that road can be a bit nuts with how close it is to Keys Cafe and Buddy's). It would be nice if hours were longer, even if just for prom preparation season. Overall very pleased and I recommend them 100% whether you want a traditional tan, red light therapy, or a spray tan!

I admit the voucher did state 24 hour cancellation fee/forfeiture, this was pointed out to me when I called her the next day. However, I did call the owner, the morning of my cancellation and informed her that I had to cancel, and spoke with her the next day, explaining to her that this was truly unforeseen. She told me that there was nothing she could do. Voucher is now Null and Void. She told me that although she appreciated my profession however was unable to reschedule. She proceeded to tell me that the products she used costs much more than what LivingSocial would cover, told me that if she accepted cancellations all the time, her business wouldn't make it and asked me if I thought it was o.k to put her out of business. She also told me that the products she used are more expensive than what LivingSocial covers and she makes 100.00 per facial, therefore cancellations less than 24 hours were not accepted. I was shocked that she would tell me this, especially being the owner of this spa. I told her that her business would thrive due to word of mouth, if the facial was great! I once again explained to her my situation and after a good 20 minutes of going back and forth and getting nowhere, I informed her I was truly disgusted with the whole thing and we ended the call. I find that in order for businesses to thrive it is also based on their customer service. I am disappointed and if it was a simple cancellation because I didn't feel like it, I get it, but I am in my profession b/c I care. Imagine me telling my patient that I had to cancel their appt due to I had a facial that I had to get to. Unlike the owner, I understand the concepts of business and customer service, and am glad that I didn't go after all. Unfortunately, as I said before, businesses thrive on word of mouth, and first impressions go a long way, and I will tell you, she's left a nasty one thus far.
