Sticky Fingers is what happens when Willy Wonka decides to open a candy shop and goes completely over the top. The second you walk in, you're hit with a rainbow explosion of color, giant candy displays, floating hot air balloons, vintage treats, quirky décor, and enough sugar to convince your inner child that being an adult is overrated. Every inch of this place is begging for a photo, and honestly, your camera roll will leave with more memories than your wallet. The candy selection is ridiculous in the best way. International sweets, nostalgic favorites, novelty sodas, mystery candy boxes, giant lollipops, and the kind of treats you forgot existed until they magically appeared in front of you. I'm also convinced the owner has an entire warehouse dedicated to storing all the incredible seasonal decorations because the attention to detail is next level. If you think it's cute now, wait until Halloween or Christmas. They somehow manage to outdo themselves every season, turning the whole store into a magical, over the top wonderland that's worth visiting even if you don't buy a single piece of candy. I came in thinking I'd spoil my little grandchildren, dropped over $40.00 and left questioning every financial decision I made that day. I absolutely love this candy store. I accidentally found it while waiting for a reservation at a nearby restaurant. The ambience and vibe of the place are so fun and welcoming. It's very picturesque and has a great assortment of candies. There are always lots of viral social media candies while also having a fun variety of nostalgic and global candies. The staff is incredibly helpful and they are really sweet and funny. You should definitely check out their social media, they do a great job with marketing. Sticky Fingers is a candy lover's dream shop! They have such a fun variety of candy to choose from as well as fun gifts and toys. I wanted to buy everything they had in store, however, I decided to only allow myself a few treats. I got the peach oolong oreos, peach and passionfruit hi-chews, and a few different kit kats. They all were so delicious! As someone who is extremely indecisive and wants to try a lot of new things, I love that they allow you to purchase individual kit kats! If the fun treats somehow don't pull you in (very unlikely), the extremely friendly and helpful staff will! I'll definitely be back to grab some more delicious treats! read more

I've been trying to cut down my sugar consumption so it took me awhile to get to Sticky Fingers, a newer candy shop located in Eastown near its sister store, Rebel. It was a sunny afternoon and Nate and I were finishing lunch at Harmony, so we walked up the street and into this magical Willy Wonka atmosphere. You really have to experience it because it truly feels like you're Charlie hoping to find a golden ticket. The whimsical front window display is eye catching and fun, and the bubbles drifting near the door really draw you in. The store is chock full of candy and confections, but also fun gifts, toys, accessories, and other items. My mouth literally dropped open as I walked in and I had a bit of sensory overload (in the best way). We grabbed a small basket and started loading it up. We really had to practice restraint - like I said, trying to curb sugar consumption these days. I love that they have two sizes of mystery boxes! We didn't get one this time but I want to grab one the next time I'm in. We ended up getting some chocolate covered espresso beans, a bar of vegan oat milk chocolate, a salted caramel Twix, and a huge rainbow sprinkle rice krispie treat for a friend's birthday. They packaged everything up in a cute box and we were on our way to a sugar fever dream. Everything we got was delicious and fresh. I particularly loved the super soft, chewy rice krispie treat! Way better than any I've ever made at home. If you need a sweet treat for yourself or a gift, Sticky Fingers is the place to be. There's limited parking in the immediate area, but plenty of street parking in the nearby neighborhoods. read more

Equal parts Bill's Candy Shop from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Honeydukes from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the displays and decor are right out of a movie set, down to the rolling library ladder. Plenty of variety from the sour stuff grade schoolers love up to high end chocolate and confections. Stopped in here with some friends while we waited for our table at Wolfgang's. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection. Must stop if you wanna take the kids somewhere unique! The store is very colorful with fun vibes. Cool novelty items that make great gifts and imported candy from different countries that you can't easily find! These are on the more expensive side but it's understandable since they are imported. Grand Rapids has its very own version of Honeydukes from Harry Potter!! Hehehe!! There is a new whimsical candy shop that has made its home in Eastown!! It's called Sticky Fingers, and legit reminds me of Honeydukes from the Harry Potter series. The decor inside is so magical, and all the candy and treats offered... absolutely amazing!! You have your classic candy, and you also have some really unique types of candy. And not only that... there are some really sweet accessories offered!!
