I went for an emmissions test and they failed me the first time saying my car wasn't ready. i could come back in 15 days to get another one free of charge and they told me to drive it 60-100 miles to reset the codes. I did that and came back the next day and they told me since i turned off the car that it was useless..??? SO i kept the car on and they reset the codes and drove 80 miles to come back just to get failed again. I WENT TO RAPID LUBE just to see if i can pass before driving another 50 miles for no reason and got passed.. -_- total waste of time!! do not come here go to rapid lube, i tried to support local but not worth it. read more

Pulled up and saw a guy working on a car so I waited a bit. But he never came over to check me in so I went inside. Nobody was at the counter but there was a guy texting on his phone in an office. I waited for him to address me. After a min or two he finally looks up and just raised his eyebrows at me. Didn't even say hi or get up to approach the counter. So I just raised my eyebrows back. He holds up his hand and puppets it like he's telling me to talk, while refusing to even welcome me or ask how he could help. So that's when I left. read more

Rudest person I've ever encountered. He yelled at a man to correct his car's position. The man innocently parked as if he were in a normal parking lot. He was so rude the man left, then he looked at me and stared motioning his hands to do the same. If you want people to park correctly repaint you faded parking lot. I don't know how he's still in business that's how rude he is. I'd rather get a ticket than give him my money. Get your inspection done else where. read more

He was just so RUDE to me I couldn't believe it!! I pulled up to the stop sign and waited for a bit. Nobody came out. So I went inside and saw that there were people in the bay. I waved and tried to get their attention. I couldn't, so I went back outside and got in my car. There was another guy at the gate that told me to pull around past the sign so I did. I guess he didn't work there because the guy inside the bay finished up with the customer in front of me and made his way over to me to yell. He flung open my car door and told me to move it / get out of my car! I asked him why he was so angry and explained to him I was told to pull back here. He didn't care, he continued to yell. I told him I was leaving, he slammed my car door so hard it shook the car. I'm still honestly upset by the whole thing. I have never been treated this way by a grown man! read more

I'm definitely a fan of Stickers. I needed to find a place that would quickly assess my car, I didn't want to wait, I want to get in and out, no hassles. Stickers fulfilled my requirements. First off - it's easy to view this business from the highway when you're driving on 290E - - you can look over and see if there's a queue or anyone waiting. That made it easy for me to make my decision. I pull up and stop at the sign, he drove my car in and told me to wait in the lobby. Very clean and simple inside, cable TV is on, plenty of mags to read too. He was very quick with my car, took ~10 min at the most. And he was good about placing the sticker on my windshield - it was aligned and not crooked - - sorry, I'm just anal about that. Why not 5-stars? Well, even though I was very pleased w/ the quick and efficient service it has to do w/ options and purchasing power. You can pay by cash or check here - no problem, but if you pay by credit or debit card you'll get charged $1.50. It's the only place I've been to that does that - - so I assume it has to do w/ the size of his business and the fees he has to pay. I did not know about the fee (until I waited in the lobby), so luckily I had my checkbook in my car - - cuz I hads no greenbacks. A buck-fifty can't buy you lunch today, but it's a refreshment, and I'm not into overpaying for any service. Regardless of that minor detail, he's very nice, professional, and does the job - - I would definitely recommend and go back next year. read more

Efficient, personable service. I went early in the am on the 2nd or 3rd, had a 15min wait, which was longer than it took to inspect my truck. If you went in the middle of the month, there might not be any wait. He only takes cash, checks, or you can use his "ATM" to pay. read more

I went to stickers to get an inspection. I had it done and saw on the report and on the wall that it cost $18.50. The guy just stuck out his hand for my card and when he put it in the reader I saw him type $20 into the reader. I asked him why he was charging me $20 when it was $18.50 and he took $1.50 out of his wallet and slammed it on the counter. I got in my car and noticed that the brakes were making a clicking sound when it was in park, that I hadn't noticed before. Despite the last interaction, I was nice and asked if he knew if anything in the inspection could have caused it. The man simply opened the door and went off on me saying "you must go... ask a mechanic!" He threw me out! I asked some guys at the shop next door if he had a boss. They said that the older gentleman was the boss. Worst customer service I have ever received. I really wish I could give negative stars. read more

I've tried to get my inspection here twice now within the week. The guy that runs the place yelled at me to get out of the office because he was going to take an hour lunch break. I was there once at 11am and at 2pm. I suppose he just does not want business at this point. Don't waste your time. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I was "helped" by Jorge Andrade-Galicia, who I believe is the most disrespectful employee I've ever encountered in my life. He threw my keys at me when he was finished, and threw my credit card at me after he took my payment. He was passive aggressive, contradicting, and just an angry man. I will never be giving this company my business ever again because of Jorge. I have noticed a lot of others are doing the same. Don't make the mistake of coming here to be disrespected. There's so many other inspection places that will respect you and treat you like a human, unlike Jorge. read more

I usto go to this guy and he was nice and inspection was quick, recently went and guy was being such a lazy jerk, the sign clearly says "Stop here and wait" though someone else was waiting inside on the phone for their inspection but it was the guy...clearly saw me waiting outside on my car and jus sat there on his phone...to top it off he refused to do my inspection for my tint when previously was no issue with the same vehicle...GO ELSEWHERE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME... read more

Does what it says on the can: inspection stickers. So why do I love them so much? Is it the NRA magazines in the waiting room? No. Straightforward, simple, no frills, fast. I went there 15 minutes before they opened at 9a today, and the owner came out and said, "I'm ready if you are." I was out by 9. A while back, I was late on getting a car reinspected after it failed the first go around. The owner said he'd cut me some slack, and didn't charge me for the second inspection. He said he'd like to see me again, so I won't ever take my cars for inspection anywhere else. Simple as that. He only takes cash, but there's an ATM on site. read more

My check engine light had been on for months. A sensor that costs more than I have to spend prevented me from getting my vehicle inspected. On my way home one day, I noticed the check engine light went off. The very next day, I high-tail it to the closest inspection place. I pull in, a man comes out to the vehicle and, without skipping a beat, says, "November of last year - what's wrong with it?" I exclaimed, "The light went off!!!" He replied, "Well, let's get it in before it comes back on!" He brought me the diagnostic and let me know of a problem sensor. I told him, "Yes, I know. That's why the light was on!' He suggested to keep me fingers crossed. I waited....and when I saw him scraping the old sticker off the windshield, I was so elated, I actually exclaimed, "Yee Haw" (Redneck DNA coming to the surface)! I was there on the 8th of the month at lunchtime. No line - no waiting. I called ahead of time to ask if they close for lunch. They do - from 1-2. Waiting room bright and clean. Plenty of helpful information posted around the place, including a suggestion to come in the middle of the month for faster service (no waiting). $1.50 charge on credit, so bring cash or the checkbook. Stickers is awesome. Nothing fancy, no website, and business cards are printed on orange cardstock. Owner Ric is super friendly and there's an air conditioned lobby with plenty of seating and a color tv. If you forget your proof of insurance, he has a fax machine so your insurance company can fax it over. Unlike other places that do oil changes, stickers only provides inspection services, and I didn't have to wait at all. The whole process took 10 minutes! If you're in need of good quick service, stop here! PS-- bring cash. No cards accepted but he does have an ATM onsite. read more

Today I was trying to get an inspection for my car. I was in a rush because I was leaving out of town. I called prior to showing up and the man who answered said they would be closed at 5 before I could say I was on the way he hung up. It was 3:50 I figured I could make it in time. When I showed up there was a gentleman sitting in the chair facing the front desk, I figured it was a customer I tried to enter but the door was locked. The man continued to sit there watching a video on his phone. I walked around to see if the owner was outside I didn't see anyone. When I walked back towards the door the man had stood up and started to open the door I leaned in and asked if they were open he said "closed" i checked the time it was 4:30. This was the same gentleman who told me they would be closed at 5. I assume my business was not good enough so I just left. I would give him a 0 star if I could read more

I had in the past gone to stickers with my cars. I never had a problem fast courteous service, BUT this time I pull in and i receive a scowling rather unpleasant guy . He asked me if I had my lunch ...I politely told him no that's why I'm here to do this on my lunch time....(and by the way I don't always get lunch...that's how it works sometimes, customers come first) Well that's when he went off on me how he had not eaten lunch and there was no way he was going to inspect my car until he ate. He then stomped off into the office, leaving me standing there. If I ever did that to a customer...I would be FIRED on the spot!..terrible customer service, and to think I went back there out of customer loyalty...what a joke! THE place for a quick inspection. They do not do repairs so you can be sure you are getting honest answers should your vehicle fail for any reason. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and the gentleman working, who has been there for years, is always polite and speedy. Even though this location is not exactly close to where I now reside I make the trip each year because nobody else makes it so painless. Payment can be made via cash and there is a debit/ATM option as well. Not sure on checks and credit cards but I always pay cash because that puts more money in the hands of the business due to how credit card companies take (steal!) a percentage of every transaction. Recently repainted with a nice calm grey color with bright red trim. read more

In my opinion there is not a finer place in Central Texas or anywhere else for that matter to get your vehicle inspected. Excellent service and extremely fast.....10 minutes at the most. I've used this same place several times over the past years and it's always been the same.....consistently good! Great location on Hwy 290....very convenient.
