Great service, in and out in 15 minutes. If you have, like I have, driven around from place to place in Austin looking for a place to get your emissions test done, only to find broken analyzers, inspectors out sick, two hour wait times. "we don't do that any more", etc., take a drive out to Del Valle and see Bob. Easy peasy. Five stars. read more

I went in for an annual inspection on my car, usually I hate doing this as I am a 24 year old girl and the people at car places think I don't know what i'm doing. After pulling into the garage, I sat and talked with the Bob as he did my inspection. He gave me tidbits about my car, talked about his life, and ultimately made me feel the most comfortable I have ever felt while getting an inspection done! Went to get the car inspected, there are no signs on where to enter. we ended up entering through the side, the owner was super condescending because we didn't enter through "the front". Made us feel super uncomfortable so we ended up leaving. Maybe he spoke to us like that because we are women..... put up some damn signs. read more

Bob was amazing! This was my first time coming to his shop and he was extremely fast and professional. I went in this morning (01/04/2020) for an inspection. When I first arrived to the shop Bob was making homemade breakfast that smelled delicious. I'm a country girl so I felt super comfortable just seeing him cook and smelling the delicious food. I grew up in the area where Bob's shop is and was so disappointed that I had not discovered his shop a long time ago. I will be coming to Bob for all of my car issues moving forward. I will be recommending people to his shop, especially those that reside in the country. Bob has great conversation and a wonderful sense of humor. I was extremely impressed and had a smile on my face the whole entire time. Don't bring your car here! This guy will give you a hard time on stuff no cop in TX ever would... Not a friendly inspector! Expect to sit around while the owner takes his time to get to your car. No smoking on property while you wait, not even 50ft from the building! What a joke of an inspection shop.... read more

IT'S NOT REALLY REGISTRATION IT'S STATE INSPECTION AND THE GUY IS INSPECTOR BOB. He was really pleasant and knowledgable about what the needs are to getting your car inspected. I accidently found this place tucked into the back off Bastrop hwy and will definitely go back each year. I did not have a long wait and was in and out. Inspector Bob has horrible customer service. Completely RUDE from the moment that you get out of the car. Very argumentative and try's to belittle the customer, even if your asking a simple question about his work.
