I dropped off my 2014 Honda civic because it was leaking oil and the A/C stop working. Sam was really nice over the phone and let me know what time I can drop it off and how long it will take to diagnosis it. He later called me and told me how much it would be to fix the leak. He also recharged and tested my a/c for leaks. He was my second quote and he is an honest man! He charged me just what the other shop was quoting me to just fix the oil leak. The other shop said I had an a/c leak and Sam checked it and it did not have a leak. I have already recommended him to my friends. I will definitely continue to come here. read more

Sam has always been honest with what work needs to be done, charges a fair price, and performs quality work. Even in difficult situations, he remains patient with the customer. After a brake job, my brakes made a squeaking noise. Sam encouraged me to bring back my car to assess the noise every time it was occurring. I had this noise evaluated several times. I started my morning by visiting two "Official Inspection Stations" the first had a long line nearly an hour after their posted opening time, but no one seemed to be on the job yet and the second was only testing for covid and wasn't even doing inspections. So I saw this place had good yelp feedback and seemed like my best option. It definitely was. I was in and out in 20 minutes, without any additional charges or runaround. Great job fixing my hazard light switch on dash. I knew it would be difficult to get to, let alone replace, but I was patient enough to wait, even though I was asked to return later after we agreed the switch would be ordered and waiting, in case it needed replacing, which it did. But the plastic mounting underneath it needed repair so it would seat properly. So after returning a few days later and getting my oil changed as I requested as well and hazard switch operational, I was all set to go plus the cost was very reasonable to me, Thanks to Saied (Fondly referred to as Sam!) Do not take your car here!!!!!!! I took my truck to get fixed here and the 1st thing I told them to do was to check the engine to see if it was ok. They did a compression test and checked the engine and they said it was good and did not need repairs. Sam went on to say it was other things so he repaired and replace fuel pump, 8 spark plugs, and the fuel injectors. Then he says the truck is still not turning on and then says the engine needs to repaired after he told me it was ok before he worked on it. So I took the truck out and took it somewhere else, where they told me he did not do the things he charged me for, and that he should of seen there was problems with the engine the first time he did the test. This place takes advantage of people and will steal your money. I would not trust this place, I believe they did more damage to the truck than they repaired. This place is a scam, do not go there for starters none of the mechanics are certify to work as mechanic.They do not have the right equipment to perform diagnostic to pin point what the issues is. Their diagnostic is base on eyeballing the problem. I had an issue with the car getting over heated and the mechanic suggest was to check the thermostat, When the car was ready to get pick up the mechanic had remove the thermostat without my permission and when I asked why he said that was the problem with the overheating but did not installed new one. I had my brother to talk to the manage because the car was still over heating.I discover that the took advantage of a women and they convince me a new thermostat won't help the problem but make it worst. Now that I look back no other mechanic would allow me drive a fairly new car with no thermostats, unless Im being set up to cough up more money and yes that was their intention. I feel I was cheated and lie and basically set me up for my car to break down so I can go back to them and follow up their recommendation and have a new engine installed that would've cost me in the thousands. The manager "Bob" of middle eastern descent, when confront refuse to warrant the shabby work they did, nor would he refund me, at the most they could have offer to installed new thermostats.The charge me over 250.00 and all they did was replace one gallon of anti freeze, a few gaskets and recommend a new engine that would cost me $1800. UPDATE: I hire someone else to installed the thermostat and since then the problem is solved. If this is not a scam, I don't know what else to call it. The manager and their mechanic are stealing peoples money fronting themselves as mechanic and doing half ass jobs who are then telling the customers you will need to rebuilt a engine just to steal you blind. Don't go there, Report this place if you know anyone to the BBB. They must be stop and throw all of them to jail for theft and deception. read more

I am currently moving from Florida to California with a stop here in San Antonio Texas to see my wife graduate from basic training. I needed a last minute oil change and brakes replacement. I stopped in with no warning here and they were able to get all that done for me and less than two hours. I am extremely satisfied. The price was also cheapest I could find around. Sam the owner was also very kind and showed great customer service it's too bad I don't live here because I would love to have this guy as my regular mechanic. I will never use them again. They overcharged me on struts that were very cheap. I had to return to get shocks replaced twice because they were busted. Now as of yesterday I find out that my right side is busted again! If I return, I will only receive the same cheap shock as before. No quality with HB Auto. They lost my business! read more
