Today was the day!…read more On our way to Great Escape from Amsterdam, we knew we needed something hardy to fill our bellies in order to get through the morning in the amusement park. Now is the time for Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. There were only three in the hotbox when we arrived at the 67 Stewart's Shop. We took all three. They were extremely warm. When we got in the car with our treasures, we opened the packaging to find each was a healthy portion of chicken in between two waffles. The mapley smell of the waffles hit us first, so we anticipated the sandwich would be really sweet. The reality was that the spicy chicken and the sweet waffles yielded an amazing balance of flavors. While the sandwich certainly could've been crispier, you have to take into account that it is pre-made. It was a delightful treat. Overall, we highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. It thoroughly satiated our morning appetite to prepare us for the big day of fun ahead.

W here they are better at what they do is the selection of deli food and ready to eat grab and go. I always grab a breakfast sandwich or a slice or a burger when I'm on the way to or from work. The food is solid and flavorful. Never dried out or sitting too long. I'm quite sure they realize that this part of the store is important to on the go folks like me. And it shows. The breakfast sandwiches are the best thing they do by far. Eggs are cooked right. Bacon is flavorful and cooked right. But, the best part of these sandwiches is the roll it is on. Not sure if they do them in house or if they truck them in, but they are right on point. The biggest thing I have found about convenience store sandwiches is the rolls are typically overly chewy. These are not. Tasty and not chewy. Only thing I would recommend is for them to heat them a bit before they put them out. Sometimes they are absolutely cold when you open them in the car. I usually wait until I am home and pop them in the microwave for 20 or 30 seconds. Other than that, spot on. Had to review based on those breakfast sandwiches, but I'll tell you, I've never had a bad food item from here yet. Give them a try. I recommend it.

I recently had a disturbing and infuriating experience at this Cumberland Farms location. I went in…read moreto purchase two Gatorlite drinks, advertised as 2 for $5, but they rang up as $5.50. With tax, the total came to $5.94. When I pointed out that the sales tax should be $0.40, not $0.94, I was met with disbelief and outright hostility. The employees insisted that the $0.94 was the correct tax, despite it clearly being an error in their system. Instead of addressing the issue, the two employees--both of whom were of a different race than I am--ganged up on me. Their behavior quickly escalated from rude to what felt like a racially motivated attack. They repeatedly insisted "it's the tax," in a mocking tone, refusing to listen to any explanation. I was laughed at, ridiculed, and made to feel as though my concerns were invalid simply because of who I am. It felt like I was being singled out and demeaned based on my race. Eventually, they asked if I even wanted the drinks, making it clear they had no interest in resolving the situation or treating me with basic respect. What's even more concerning is that they claimed every customer is told "that's the tax" and no one ever complains. If that's true, then Cumberland Farms is potentially collecting illegal sales tax on thousands of transactions per day. Now that this review is public, if Cumberland Farms doesn't address this issue with these employees, they could be guilty of negligence and should be fined. I hope New York State gets their $0.94 tax on this transaction, which I doubt will happen under these circumstances. For reference, my receipt number is 221-2080, in case Cumberland Farms wants to do their due diligence and investigate. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and the fact that it appeared to be racially motivated makes it all the more unacceptable. Unbelievable that this is what customer service has come to today. I would recommend screening and better training of employee's zero stars if I could. This was definitely not about the 50 cents per transactions theft , but the principle of the matter .

They have my beloved hot pepper relish as a condiment option as well as other hot sauces. I recently ordered a Buffalo chicken sub. They didn't skimp on the meat or cheese and dressed it exactly the way I asked with extra lettuce, onions and tomato. Again, I repeat, everything was sliced to order, meat, cheese, veggies and all. It was an excellent sub that put Subway to shame because of it's freshness, size and price. The bun was also perfect. I just stopped by the other day to get some gas, and although the pump I originally stopped at (and another nearby keypad) didn't have a working keypad, I chose to move. I found it best to enter my alternative ID for my SpeedyRewards card and the keypad is vital to this entry. There were at least two pumps that were like this when I got there (pumps were located just to the south of the building but on the side facing northbound close to the building (both pumps on that side - in that direction). When I got inside to pay for my $10 in gas, the employee asked me for my rewards card. I knew that giving them the rewards card inside wouldn't hurt things (when trying to use an attached Cash-Fuel Card (for three cents off per gallon), but I figured "sure," I'll play that game. Nothing became of that, and as normal, I gained nothing from that addition of my rewards card inside. (I don't use my cardboard rewards card as much, but I have one.) (I mean, I have the fuel card attached to my online account, and I have the passes on my phone for both, but having knowledge of the fuel card pass which one of the other places told me is auto-connected will send things thru directly. Suggestion: When I give you my cardboard rewards card, could you tell your company to auto-connect these two cards together if they are attached online like the phone passes?) After moving my car to the pumps just to the north of the building, things went rather smoothly. The pump acted normal (although it slowed down sooner than others and I stood outside in the cold weather (when a winter storm was preparing to make it's way to where this station is and up into the Northeast and out to see). Normal pumps generally start to slow down by the 70 cent mark before the full dollar, but this pump slowed down by the 60 cent mark and added another 10 seconds onto the time - time I could have more well-spent traveling to my destination. Ok, but I'd rather stop at other Speedways, if given the opportunity.
